Silovs is a great deal and in my opinion we have the best GM in the league. It's been a while since players wanted to come to Vancouver to play. We just about got Benning's mess cleaned up. But it costing us for 4 more years to do so.
@DonCannon-o3o yes Jim did bring in some good players but when they needed a new contract he over paid them and also added no trade as well. So you couldn't even trade them away without them dropping the no trade part. Then the only way a team would do a trade would be if we payed part of the contract killing our cap space.
Absolutely outstanding deal. Its insane how good that tandem is & under 6m cap hit. I do wonder if they will try and sign someone like Martin Jones as a veteran backup and provide competition for Silovs
Émilie Castonguay (AGM) is a salary cap & negotiation mastermind!! She’s played a huge role in all of the signings thus far, and the Silovs signing is another example of an incredible contract management has been able to get done this off-season

Benning's "mess" includes some pretty good players. Just because a new GM re-signs a player doesn't mean a great deal to me.

I way means you can't be sent back n forth to minors without full nhl pay. 2 way it goes back n forth
