Funny thing is is that Hank Pym (OG Ant-Man) created Ultron in the comics, but Hollywood decided to use the other already popular genius (Stark) to create Ultron which makes sense from a movie audience standpoint so I think it's funny they call Pym Tony Stark Sr. in this lol...

also, it's slightly different. Jeff Bridges was Tony Stark's friend and mentor. This bald guy had more of a cold-war thing going on with Pym.
Except Ant Man didn't have a actor who backed out due to bitching out salary issues.
To be honest, I thought he was going a Batman and Lex Luthor route, like the suit-stealing thing happened in one the comics or something (because while I haven't seen the movies yet, I'm pretty sure that didn't happen and won't). Otherwise, that described their relationship pretty accurately right? Bruce may not be a scientist but he (and Alfred?) designs his suits, so...
Apart from the inconsistencies such as his mass doesn't change when he shrinks and stuff regarding the tank still weighing like 60 tons, yet he doesn't break anything or when jumping due to pressure of a huge mass on tiny surface areas, or the fact that antman would of formed a black hole after getting smaller than his schwarzschild radius, and the fact he can't get smaller than an atom itself as the shit only shortens distances between atoms, even though he did in the film and the fact that even he did shrink down smaller, you cant see anything as you're smaller than the wave length of visible light yet he still say everything including colour fine, I'd say this film was pretty scientifically correct

What was interesting to note is how Marvel barely hyped this movie at all, let alone release that much information on it. So when it came out, it was a bombshell of a fun time.

Ant-Man was very funny. It was cool that they made a comedy movie instead of trying to churn out a serious or dark film. A great family film that you could actually watch with your whole family and not feel embarrassed about. (Unless you dressed up as Ant-Man in the cinema to see it).
Were you actually expecting the superhero film called Ant-Man to be serious or dark? Making it family friendly was not much of an accomplishment.

The OG Avengers team from like 1963-64 to until 2004, was Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, the Wasp, Ant-Man, then less than a year later, Captain America, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Hawkeye.
This movie just proved that Marvel can make anything be amazing. If anyone else tried to do Ant-man, it would have failed horribly.
I hope that's not true. The Atom is a similar hero from DC and he's already in the DC Television Universe. I really want Legends of Tomorrow to be good.

Unshaved Malevolence ehhh not really. On the last movie fights one of the fighters picked it for most overrated superhero movie. It has an average score of 6.8/10 on RT and a score of 64 on Metacritic. Its an ok movie. But the comedy was way overdone and all the three side characters didn't fit, their explanation for not getting the avengers involved didn't make total sense and logically Scott would not have been the best choice to be ant man and my god was the villain horrible and of course we have another cliché forced romance and another forgettable female character who is basically just another version of black widow with no unique personality.

I wish they tied Hank Pym to Age of Ultron, where Stark and Banner found Hank Pym's blue prints and codes to Ultron's creation back in the 80s but it was never executed until now, so technically Hank did create Ultron but the two other guys updated and launched Ultron.
I’d like to point out that Hawkeye is like the second best martial artist in the mcu behind Captain America. They don’t portray it well in the movies but Hawkeye is a brilliant martial artist who eventually became Ronin after training under Cap
Marvel proved ones again that they can do a movie with a racoon and a talking tree, an ant-man or something similar while DC couldn't do a movie about an alien "god"! (I didn't like Man of Steel so much, I hope that B v S will be better, Superman as a character though, is cool) :-) I loved Ant-Man!!! :-D

Yeah, I can sort of see Disney/Pixar/Marvel doing a Squirrel Girl 3D animated movie for kids & their parents. All the elements are there; funny girl with squirrel teeth and tail, and lots & lots of cutesy little squirrels, doing superhero stuff and saving the day from evil grumpy villains.

+SuperUnhappyman Because poor planning and stupid overlooking of basic science concepts. I would have enjoyed this movie so much more if the science had been better. And it totally could have been done too! Marvel makes millions of dollars with every movie they release, they can absolutely pay for a science adviser.

Probably my favourite Marvel film since the original Iron Man (Winter Soldier was also a pleasant surprise though). Just hit all the right notes (thanks to Paul Rudd being perfectly cast in this, like Robert Downey Jr was perfectly cast in the original Iron Man film). Even the people who watched it with me (who weren't comic book fans) really enjoyed it.

Even the smallest black holes are multiple times the mass of the sun. Something like Janet becoming dense enough to create a black hole is implausible even by MCU standards. The difference in mass between them is some absurdly large number that I don't even know the name of.
Ever heard of primordial black holes? I know that the smallest confirmed black holes that were ever observed stem from supernovae and have to be massive enough that their own gravity presses them beyond their Schwarzschild radius. However, there is no hard physical limit on how small a black hole can be in principle. For every mass there is a Schwartzschild radius (earths for example is about 5mm) and if you somehow squeeze it inside that radius it will be a black hole, no matter what. When Antman shrinks down to subatomic levels but retains his mass (which the movie plays kind of fast and loose with) he actually runs the risk of shrinking beneath his own SR (which for a human is about1,4E-22 meters) and thus become a tiny and very, very short lived black hole.
