Imagine a train that’s way down in the deep blue sea, with a view of marine life as you travel at high speeds to your destination. This is exactly what the UAE has planned, and it’s a pretty cool concept. Dubai, the land of dreams, never fails to amaze us with its glory in technological developments. From the tallest building in the world Burj Khalifa to the iconic Palm Islands built off the coast of the city, and from Hyperloop trains to driverless flying cars, Dubai has achieved everything. However, for the next ambitious project, it is willing to cross the Arabian Sea and connect the financial capital of India.

Next mega project: Build a bridge to the Sun to directly bring the light rays first to Dubai from where it will be distributed to the rest of the world. Jenius!

Project of this mammoth scale in not only extremely difficult and time consuming to build but also financially unviable. It makes a little sense to place two underwater pipelines to transport oil and fresh water between the two countries, but to build a high speed rail network underwater for staggering 1200 miles will require trillions of dollars and a time not less than a decade.
I have also heard that it would be a double storey sort of a system for both rail and roadway. One can only imagine the amount of money, manpower, grit and determination it will require.
