Florida is looking like the new Texas, with more automotive shops and horsepower shops connecting with each other to make all car needs possible and accessible in the same state. Out here in Connecticut you either have to travel New York or Jersey to get any quality work
Yeah that's what's worrying me. My r33 gtr is coming in in Feb 2020 and I don't know anyone in CT who can tune her for me once I upgrade to possibly single turbo with supporting mods.
EFI Logics in Bethel should be able to, I've seen them do plenty of R32s. ECS Performance in Windsor Locks is another reputable tuner. Weapons Grade Performance specializes in R35 but they may be able to accommodate. They used to be in Wallingford but I'm not sure where they moved to. That's a good start anyway, I don't know offhand any Skyline specialists.

cd5sircoupe that’s just one piece to the puzzle what about the high performance parts shop that are within driving distance ? That’s nul here in ct but for instance Florida you can purchase coilovers, engine upgrades, fuel systems ect. . . With the ability to see the item in hand before purchase.
@@RevereMason I've read up everything about skylines for a few years now everything from analyzing and watching prices, performance upgrades, model differences, rust issues, and common things to look for. I've worked with multiple importers and exporters before finally working with a single exporter who is reliable and has safe storage options.
Only now that I have her bought am I starting to think about tuning and such. There are many vendors online I can buy parts from either straight from Japan, Japan stock in the US, or Japan stock in Canada. Honestly most upgrades are common between all builds i.e walbro pump, Bosch injectors, 6speed manifold if you're converting to single turbo, poncams for a drop in solution, and etc. The biggest differences are down to the turbo selection and the ecu you use and whether it supports MAF's or MAP's. I don't see any benefit to seeing parts in person unless you're talking about used parts.

I want that car so bad. Good choices on tuning too. Flames and pops don't make a car faster. If by some miracle I won I'd throw it on E85, throw cams in it and have Jack re-tune it. I'd also have to let Adam have it back for a day so he could drift it. I'm a drag race kinda guy.
Adam, since you got your dream jzx100 that's 4-door, why not sell the r32 and buy some awd skyline with rb26. i'm bringing this up, because you said about making the r32 awd as an idea.

TITAN Motorsport! Great place, just don't let them tune/work on your car, crash your car during a test drive, and then try to make you pay for it... Hopefully the woodruff isn't broken on the R32, some guys cut out a solid/long groove the length of the crank snout and put in a beefy/longer woodruff into those cranks. Anyway, nice vid!

It's alot of power but unless you drive like an idiot you got nothing to worry about on the street it's not going to floor itself and steer into a wall.. whoever wins will be used to it in no time just like the people that build cars in the first place otherwise they will be the type to sell it right away I'm sure... Either way not on him what the winner does, there's a way to adjust boost for a reason ya know I'm sure he will also teach the winner if need be the basics he's a pretty nice guy

This is GT-S Skyline and this seems to be GTS25T which is rwd from factory.
AWD GT-Rs are most rwd and have a switch in the fuse box that disables awd iirc

That turbo is so perfectly suited for that engine. The only thing holding it back is like you said, the stock RB26 cams. I have a 508 whp 97 Honda Civic coupe and I am running stock Integra GSR VTEC cams and it pulls really hard right to 9000 rpm no problem. I'm kinda surprised that the RB26 cams are so restrictive, but then again, they ARE tuned to build boost quickly down low with the stock twins...

you need extra electronic oil pump to setup 2 step or lunch c ... its really help any car , you have oil pressure even before startup the engine and its perfect ,

RB26`s with singles sound more high pitch, as for the 33 having more grip the car is wider, slightly longer wheelbase and a lot more weight, it will feel much more planted. love the way 33`s drive, specially comparing a 32 GTS and a 33 GTS, a 33 feels way more planted and solid. nice build man, whoever wins that will be very lucky.

Thanks for not doin 2 step. I really always feel it’s better safe than sorry. Every turbo car I’ve had I’ve never done 2 step. I miss having a boosted car but my mk4 Jetta I had was on 20psi with cams and all boltons plus state 2 tune form unitronic. I love this is being built for reliable daily driving. I’m praying I win this car I’d cherish it forever. Most beautiful r33. Also great dyno results! And I love my lz gear that came in today!
