Not only does Fahrenheit last long, the way it changes on the skin as it evaporates is truly amazing. The whole process is about 12 hours, and by knowing it so well I could tell you which hour I'm on. Every hour is different and interesting. It is the king, it is magnificent.
I feel like a man when I wear this not many compliments but a real man doesn't need compliments. A man doesn't show emotion he just gets shit done. That's how I feel like when I wear this.
I’ve been wearing this since 1990. It keeps my mind in a great place in time. I was in HS and I’m a metalhead by birth lol. I wore combat boots and a biker jacket, had long hair and smoked Marlboro Reds. This fragrance reminds me of going to see Pantera in concert and keg parties on the weekends that always ended in a fight or hooking up with some random girl. It was a crazy time in my life, and this is a crazy scent that brings me back. My wife loves it on me. I don’t know anyone else now that wears it so I’m “keepin’ it real” lol. I keep a few bottles on deck at all times. I have some other frags but this one is my signature scent. Two things. The original had a bit more depth and power, but the latest formulation is great, which is why I keep buying it. If you haven’t tried the Parfum and can find it, it’s a masterpiece! I hope they release it again.
I was inside a club few years ago and a girl whispered in my ear “Fahrenheit!”it was dense and hot so I realized how it projects better when you sweat.
Enjoyed the reviewed and love the fragrance. I wore Aqua Fahrenheit (one of the best aquatic fragrance ever formulated IMO) and the folks around me loved it too. As much as I love Fahrenheit, I agree that recent formulations are...well, not up to par.
Jim R Yeah. I think Dior will work it out and get it right eventually. Just the current version is not as great as older ones, apparently. Still, I love it! I totally agree about Aqua Fahrenheit. That's fantastic.
My signature! This is about as addicting to wear as a scent gets. I get really varied performance from this, anywhere from 4-12 hours with the current formulation. Great review bros!
Come back any time Jer. I smelled Fahrenheit for the 1st time in the early 2000's, i liked it back then i dont remember getting the petroleum note then. More recently i smelled the who knows which reformulation about 2 years ago and it had a strong petroleum note, which i didnt care for. I like smelling gas while i am pumping gas in my car but i dont necessarily want to smell like it.
Nice one guys. I picked up one in Italy called Morris Silver Line Cologne and it was sold to me as very similar to Farenheight, and it is , less expensive also. Cheers
Great review, guys....Delighted you decided to give this one the review it deserves. Totally get the cutting the grass with a lawnmower reference - in fact that's the image I still get with this often. With me I get the association of dampness and a little rain in the experience too, lol. Still one of the greatest fragrances of all time and right up there with Rive Gauche PH as a personal favourite for a long time. I would highly recommend using the Fahrenheit deodorant stick as well to add a bit to the projection of the fragrance. Eternal classic.
Fragrance Bros. Don't walk, run to give Rive Gauche a try. Seriously. It is the only fragrance in a considerable collection that I have back-up bottles of. A masterpiece and knowing the Bros tastes I'm sure you'd love it.
So glad you reviewed this. This is the love of my life haha. Timeless classic. God damn did they knock it out of the park. I will rock this baby FOREVER.
Never really liked the original because I couldn’t stand the gasoline note however I didn’t really give it much of a chance to settle down on my skin. Just bought Fahrenheit Parfum and absolutely adore this fragrance. Gasoline note is there but just the right amount for me. Leather accord with bourbon vanilla smells delicious. Looking forward to your review on the Parfum version. Love your reviews!
Can you guys do a review of Michael Kors For Men? Someone gave me a free sample and I wasn't expecting to like it but I was blown away. Its a very different type of smell and I think its a hidden gem. It has a phenomenal tobacco note. I had full intentions of my next purchase being Chanel Allure Pour Homme or Platinum Egoiste but after smelling this I'm seriously thinking about buying this instead. I'm interested in hearing what you guys think. Also it was good seeing Jer. I'm hoping this means hes coming back
i hated it when i was a teenage boy.. now (25yo) i love it for some time now.. so manly and versatile and groundbreaking. Older versions are deeper and darker but the main accord stays. Recently I bought Le Parfum version.. its pretty good too- review that guys!
Another awesome review. Excellent scent it is indeed. I have for a long time and I have all version except 32. I have to say that all version lasts good 8 hrs long. Out omf all version my favorites are absolute then original and then acqua. Good to see Jeremy and I think he is very important for ure Chanel.frraaggrancee bross.
I agree with you guys. The new formulation smells great it's just a lot weaker than my older bottles. I have a 2009 batch and 2014 batch. The differences are pretty huge. Still this one smells excellent.
I tried a bottle in Debenhams recently. First time I'd tried the edt. I have aqua and parfum. The edt surprised me how good it was. I heard they've fixed the recent formulation to smell like the vintage. It was stronger than my parfum. Lasted on my jacket and shirt for about a week. My opinion was it was pretty potent for an edt. Have a bottle coming today hopefully if I don't miss the delivery.
Definitely one of my top5 scents, manly, badboyish and damn unique. Only downside is the performance, after an hour it stays pretty close to my skin and this is the reason why it's not my signature. Lacks some power. Great review, I agree with everything u said :)
Dave I recently bought a bottle of this. I got it at a rite aid and it had been there for a while as it was dusted. Performance is actually great for me and I don't get great often with any fragrance. Performance across fragrance lines bothers the hell out of me. After buying it and spraying I now feel this has the same open as Creed Royal Oud. Do you get this at all ?
Awesome awesome review!! This is my favourite fragrance ever, from the many thousands I have tried, so I know it very well and you hit on a lot of key points that I totally agree with. It totally gives you an air of confidence and that you are that manly, guy that changes his own oil lol. Also the fact that it smells totally 'current' despite being 27 years old, Intotally agree with that, the only thing I disagree with is that you said it was a 'Vivaldi' it's actually one of very few scents that I would never wear in the real heat of the summer regarding a resurgence, I have been hyping this (not that it needs my hype) for a long time as as Max H, we both have it as the greates frag of all time.. Loved this review so much.
***** I do get what you are saying about not wearing it in summer, but something about it reminds me of summer and I wouldn't mind wearing it in summer, regardless of how thick it is. :) I guess it's that smell of cutting grass that gives me the summer smell
I think Fahrenheit is obviously a masterpiece, but I can confidently say now I am using this after my 90's usage it's a marriage between quality and olfactory
Hey Daver! Have you ever tried out the discontinued Aqua Fahrenheit? I'm really considering to buy a sample of it because I'm really curious about how it smells.
Hey dudes, that was one hel-lova-great discussion on my number one FAVE scent of all time. I have a vintage bottle of this(which I never touch except if I'm really aching to) but I usually use a current bottle I have from 2004 that I purchased from a little perfume boutique where I live. Yes the vintage bottle is awesome! More sillage and much longer lasting, heavier on the gasoline(leather, nutmeg, violet leaf, patchouli accords) lavender, vetiver, citrus accord and florals and heavier musk all the way through. Even though the reformulation is basically a shadow of the vintage, it doesn't mean it's not good. I still enjoy it all year round, after a good workout and shower at the gym or casual and formal events both. The versatility of this frag is amazing and the compliments...the highest of all the over 100 different bottles of fumes that I have in my wardrobe. Not a dated scent IMHO but always current and a pleasure to wear for me and for those that's around me. Great discussion guys!! 2 thumbs up! :)
Guys, your review pretty much summed up all my thoughts and feelings on Xerjoff X/J Homme. I'm almost certain it's the new version of the original DF. Check that on out with a possible comparison video. Homme is serious Harley biker ( wealthy and far from broke) masculine scent and I believe you guys would appreciate it.
I bought my MK watch the other day sale slave woman came to me begging to buy more things and I was astonished at MK fragrance for men. My first time I hated it awful but that was because I didn't like spices or tobacco before. Now I enjoy and love it. Review :O
+Im_ Ronery' I'm not totally sure. Dior has a different list too. I normally just use Fragrantica since it is generally reliable, but they do sometimes get note lists incorrect. I do know that there is violet leaf, musk, and oakmoss. Other than that, who knows! lol
I don't have what you would say is (vintage)..but I have 3 bottles of fahrenheit 2006..2007 and 2011...and I disagree with like 95% of people as far as season..to me personally I find it more of a spring and summer fragrance...but then again any fragrance can be worn anytime just far as heavy scents spray less..kinda common sense realy
Im just curious about one thing, you say the name Fahrenheit fits the bottle perfectly, but u didnt really give an explanation as to why that is so? :D It triggers me, hehe. Why Fahrenheit in particular? Wouldnt celsius be equally good of a name or? Thanks in advance.
The bottle looks like something heated up to the point where it's glowing, so it looks "hot". That's one reason I think it's perfect. I think Celsius would be a decent title too, but because I'm American, the word fahrenheit has more resonance with me. I'm just glad they didn't use Kelvin, because it sounds like the name of a distant cousin. lol
I remember smelling it as a teenager and I didn't like it at all. Now I think it's great! I love Acqua Fahrenheit even more though. Need to get my nose on Le Parfum now. #don'tleavemeJer
Yeeaaahhhh!! I was 7 in 1988 too!! 5-23-81 have it!!! Superb review guys!! i have a bottle of the vintage fahrenheit from the 90's but im not a fan of it, its just not my type of frag, i much prefer Fah Absolute which was my most recent frag purchase, its gonna be super hard to find soon with it being discontinued :-(
Always wanted to say this about compliments, but never more so than when it comes to Fahrenheit. I think people may readily compliment a scent, but find it much harder to articulate the way it makes them feel about the wearer. That's what Fahrenheit is all about: it may not be a compliment-getter, but it's a scent that speaks more for the wearer than it does for itself.
Damn you too are funny. I really dug this review. it is a good cologne. Reminds me of late middle school- early high school when i first started wearing cologne. This, drakkar, cool water and some cheapies like preferred stock, fathom, gravity really take me back
This one is my scent of the day I'm getting ready for my evening shift at work one of the biggest mistakes I used to do in the eighties as a teenager was bathed in this in the heat wave here in Southern California it must have been 95 a hundred degrees and I kid you not that stuff smell terrible in a heat wave I smell like a dirty grimy tire changing motor oil changing mechanic I hated it as I grew I learned that this is not a scent you want to wear in a summer heat wave. But I really do appreciate the fragrance it's got excellent pedigree it's a Dior absolutely Timeless I love it always will
Ey Guys !! excellent Review. This fragrance is amazing, futurist, elegant, gorgeous, a piece of art. Please guys, make a review about all Fahrenheit Collection, it is necessary, really necessary ... Fahrenheit Summer, Fahrenheit Absolute, Fahrenheit 32, Aqua Fahrenheit, Fahrenheit Le Parfum, Fahrenheit Cologne
I love this all time legend. It’s truly a masterpiece. I find it projects from stronger and violently with a drop of patchouli essential oil. The women will be following you in the store. Especially if you add a leather jacket and a drop of pheromones. Man, I tell you, the sexy ness you put off is heavy. Overall, it has to fit you and your style. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 thumbs up for this masterpiece.
I am constantly seeing all these bring jer back, he's funnier, his tastes are better, etc comments. It's funny to me Bcuz I know, even tho no one will admit it, that if daver is the one that left. People would be saying the exact same stuff. Lol. It isn't quite the same without both of you tho.....
I'm sorry but this is not for evey occasion, not for everyone and not for summer, it's a manly scent type of hard rock dude who rides a bike and wears a leather jacket
#bringjerback ahaha honestly i wish he was in more lately. you two have a chemistry that just isn't present when you have other guest reviewers on, with the one caveat being your wife. aha. come back Jer!! the fragcom misses you
hell it fuckin bothers me.. They reformulate all the master pieces and destroy them to ShiT. just so they can launch an extreme or intense version.. Aggravating as hell to me. This is my favorite fragrance of all time, and from this review it sounds like they destroyed it.
Guinea54 I just got my 6.8 oz Fahrenheit from the Dior site and I have to say that it's pretty much like I remember it. I'm happy to report that. It lasted like 7 hours on me. It has less leather than I remember so the base smells more like the opening now, but the scent overall doesn't last the 12 hours the old one did.
***** Thanks for the update man.. I was hoping with Fah Parfum they would maybe make it stronger and richer like the old 80's version but they made an entirely new fragrance.
Lame joke warning: Based on Jer's comment, maybe they should parody a new song bringing back some NKOTB ... "Smelling Tough" ... you can clap now ... ;-)
Fragrance Bros. Would fragrancenet or fragrancex be a better place to buy Creed full bottles ? Fragrancenet is usually cheaper. I'm about to pull the trigger on full bottle but would like a pros advice before I do. Thanks in advance !!!
Fahrenheit is dirty and clean. Hot and cold. Green and red. Classic and modern. It’s so unique. So manly. Just perfect. I love this perfume.
Not only does Fahrenheit last long, the way it changes on the skin as it evaporates is truly amazing. The whole process is about 12 hours, and by knowing it so well I could tell you which hour I'm on. Every hour is different and interesting. It is the king, it is magnificent.

I prefer the earlier formula. Use to be my hubby's signature scent.
kelly chew Yeah I really need to try a vintage version of this.

Fragrance Bros. Don't walk, run to give Rive Gauche a try. Seriously. It is the only fragrance in a considerable collection that I have back-up bottles of. A masterpiece and knowing the Bros tastes I'm sure you'd love it.

King Metta Thanks for the suggestion! I'll have to add it to the list.
i hated it when i was a teenage boy.. now (25yo) i love it for some time now.. so manly and versatile and groundbreaking.
Older versions are deeper and darker but the main accord stays. Recently I bought Le Parfum version.. its pretty good too- review that guys!
The hardest decision I've had to make between two fragrances is whether to buy Dior Homme or Dior Fahrenheit. I still haven't decided. Help?
So glad to see and hear Jer's take on this bad boy!!! Jer come baaaaaack!
2016 formulation is very close to vintage one.Great one!
that's what I've heard! I need the new version!
Just got a bottle...it is very close to the vintage.
Matthew Ackerley I've had nothing but power performance that's strange
how to know the 2016 patch ???

Gotta try this one, and deff bring jer back u all are great together
It has been the one for me since I found it around 1995! Best of the best!
I Just got a Bottle of this and I get about 3 hours projection and 7 to 8 hours longevity... Still a Great frag to me... Great review folks!! 👍👍
Great scent. Gonna be wearing this for Cinco De Mayo
I agree with you guys. The new formulation smells great it's just a lot weaker than my older bottles. I have a 2009 batch and 2014 batch. The differences are pretty huge. Still this one smells excellent.

Love the pedigree comment ..your right , whatever your getting with dior it's always pedigree. .my favorite review
Hey Daver! Have you ever tried out the discontinued Aqua Fahrenheit? I'm really considering to buy a sample of it because I'm really curious about how it smells.
yeah I love it
I loved Jerry. Hope he's doing good. Great flashback and you two have great chemistry
Great scent. My wife really likes it which is a great bonus :)
You guys have such great chemistry. Im so excited to try this. Great review guys
thank you!
just picked up the 6.8oz bottle. most interesting frag of all times.
yes! I love it. I need to get some. It's on my to-buy list

Great discussion guys!! 2 thumbs up! :)
I regret I canont add to the Fahrenheit discussion in a thoughtful way, but I could get no further than the initial petroleum turn-off! So sad . . . .
miata149 awww man. :( It's definitely love or hate.
The Fahrenheit Absolute version is an amazing darker scent!
László Nagy I need to try that one!
Excellent review Bros!! I'm trying to find a nice vintage bottle of this.
Alex Martinez Thanks for the suggestion! I'm definitely going to check it out.
I bought my MK watch the other day sale slave woman came to me begging to buy more things and I was astonished at MK fragrance for men. My first time I hated it awful but that was because I didn't like spices or tobacco before. Now I enjoy and love it. Review :O
So which notes are the truth? On basenotes, they don't list musk, and the notes are shorter than on fragrantica.
+Im_ Ronery' I'm not totally sure. Dior has a different list too. I normally just use Fragrantica since it is generally reliable, but they do sometimes get note lists incorrect. I do know that there is violet leaf, musk, and oakmoss. Other than that, who knows! lol

"I smell like a boss son" -Jer...
That just about sums it up my man... This is great stuff... Awesome job guys...
#bringjerback :^P
@wewantJerback
Fahrenheit great scent but hardly reach for it, although it is the scent of choice for my 3 year old for when he attends day care :)
U Smells Good haha! What studly 3 year old! :D
I'm just glad they didn't use Kelvin, because it sounds like the name of a distant cousin. lol
Well thanks for responding sir. I get ur point now. But technically it could be 10 fahrenheit as much as it could be 92, but i get ur point haha.
Zach Love exactly. Fahrenheit is both hot and cold smelling.
Have any of the bros tried Bel Ami by Hermes?
max diesel yeah, it's good. :) Bel Ami Vetiver is better, imo.
About time, Sir..about time!
I was thinking about getting the parfum version of this because it lasts longer and and is sweeter
I was like this better have Jer in it and sure didnt disappoint . One of my Favorites i have two bottles new version and the old ! amazing stuff
Hamed Noohi haha! Glad we didn't disappoint. :)
Great review guys! Come back Jere!
Never get bored with Fahrenheit, truly a timeless everlasting classic
*Jer HAD to be here for this one.*
*:D*
I remember smelling it as a teenager and I didn't like it at all. Now I think it's great! I love Acqua Fahrenheit even more though. Need to get my nose on Le Parfum now.
#don'tleavemeJer
Yeeaaahhhh!! I was 7 in 1988 too!! 5-23-81 have it!!!
Superb review guys!! i have a bottle of the vintage fahrenheit from the 90's but im not a fan of it, its just not my type of frag, i much prefer Fah Absolute which was my most recent frag purchase, its gonna be super hard to find soon with it being discontinued :-(
razscott haha awesome! '81 was a good year. :) Yeah I definitely need to try F Absolute.
+razscott I wish i had absolute again lol. I just finished my bottle .. I like it a lot, but I like the original as well.
Could you please review fahrenheit aqua.?
Definitely! I am planning on reviewing it soon.
Ahhhh that big brown couch, the smell of fantastic scents and two very, VERY funny reviewers. Love Daver n Jer.....THE FRAGRANCE BROS. FOREVER!
Hey! I find if you spray it on clothes you smell the gasoline more😀 let me know!
Link to buy on Amazon is "aftershave"
Brian Murray Thanks! Changed it. :)
Violet leaf is the main ingredient in Green Irish Tweed! :)
4fmagnet nope! It's violet flower. ;)
Fragrance Bros. No sir! Check the notes. :)
4fmagnet I have! :D
Fragrance Bros. www.creedboutique.com/creed-perfume-for-men/50-creed-green-irish-tweed.html?gclid=CjwKEAjw65GqBRCj3fLFwK2SpWoSJABa3E3crJW2F9E774hq3pKvPg7cDsfJlSIaXh4sDlBDL2s-zhoCVM3w_wcB
:p
4fmagnet hahaha. You win. I will say this: it smells like violet flower, and every time I smell violet in other fragrances, it reminds me of GIT. :)
Everytime I wear it I get at least one positive comment from someone most people like it and can tell what it is ! Fahrenheit 5/5 all day!

Sure

Hey Daver,
what about Fahrenheit le parfum? have you tried it?
mem question ici , the same question here
How do i know if it is a 2016 formulation? Regrets from Colombia!
I'm not sure, sorry.
The new reformulation has black corners on the box. The previous reformulation had simple generic dark red box. Hope it helps you!
received my sample today, as I expected i fucking loved it but sadly it doesnt last or project
awesome video bros! Love this fragrance!
Handsome Smells Thanks!
I use to wear it in the late 90s greatest fragrance of all time and icon by dior
Is Jer alive? is he back for good?? omg thats nice, i like his tastes more that Daver's
Pr0v0kat0r777 #bringJerBack!
"Good for the office." = Not good advice. Not so sure I would take any advice on the subject of manliness/masculinity from "Daver" there. 😂😂
Your loss, mom.
love you guys
The best review ive ever seen good job.
Great video, Thanks !
Ey Guys !! excellent Review.
Smells like a forest to me. I would know, obviously.
great review.. thank you..
Great review
Fun review! Still love Fahrenheit :)
+Dystinkuished I've been over this a thousand times: Jer can't come back permanently. It's not feasible for him.
+Fragrance Bros. Totally understand. Keep doing what ur doing and bro on my friend. Ur videos are awesome period.
Drives me nuts not to like a classic, but it's a scrubber on me. Great video as always.
cdresz aww man! Bummer! Oh well, can't win everyone. :) It's definitely a polarizing scent.
masterpiece!
Nice wedding scent
I'm sorry but this is not for evey occasion, not for everyone and not for summer, it's a manly scent type of hard rock dude who rides a bike and wears a leather jacket
André BM right on. Totally agree
I think it started the niche frag interest
#bringjerback ahaha honestly i wish he was in more lately. you two have a chemistry that just isn't present when you have other guest reviewers on, with the one caveat being your wife. aha. come back Jer!! the fragcom misses you
hell it fuckin bothers me.. They reformulate all the master pieces and destroy them to ShiT. just so they can launch an extreme or intense version.. Aggravating as hell to me. This is my favorite fragrance of all time, and from this review it sounds like they destroyed it.
+Guinea54 I just ordered one from Dior. I'll let you know if they butchered it. I've been rocking that since the '90s.

***** yeah please do man.. I would appreciate that! Im almost out of juice myself. My bottle is from around 2010 or so.. and its pretty decent juice.

I just got my 6.8 oz Fahrenheit from the Dior site and I have to say that it's pretty much like I remember it.
Great review guys!
Doesn't even smell like it's almost 30 yrs old! Definitely in my top ...20.
I ordered 1.2ml to test and smells like 1970s
"what about compliments?"
"you know... not really."
yeah, there is a reason for that.
Yeah.
Lame joke warning: Based on Jer's comment, maybe they should parody a new song bringing back some NKOTB ... "Smelling Tough" ... you can clap now ... ;-)
I wore this to work and got alot of compliments. One women said she wanted to eat me!
What year bottle do you have ?
Nicky T I don't know.I purchased a decant and the only one that got me more compliments was blue de Chanel.
Has anyone here smelled the laparfume version ? If so what does it smell like in comparison to this ?
It's a good version. I haven't smelled them side by side, but they're pretty close.
Fragrance Bros. Would fragrancenet or fragrancex be a better place to buy Creed full bottles ? Fragrancenet is usually cheaper. I'm about to pull the trigger on full bottle but would like a pros advice before I do. Thanks in advance !!!
they're both equal, in my opinion. I would just go with the cheapest option of those two.
Betwawiblood-award for Jer! :-)
