This Japanorse saga literally have many things that I didn't know I needed: Japanese berserkers, kimono wearing little blond Norse boi, young drengr with a katana, Norse jarl in an Onsen, vikings side by side with samurais, in the court meeting of the great daimyo, who also happens to be a Norse... Just incredible! I wonder is it possible to push this culture merging even more deeper with mods. Koifish ,as always, did a great job by realising my secret fetish with this masterpiece game.
I mean it must be terrifying. Strange people who come from beyond the sun, and then they start raiding and conquering everything they see. Also, I'm pretty sure the average Viking is larger than the average Japanese

He took a bokken and a katana, the katana is hidden in his kimono and the bokken is on his obi, this is to avoid being arrested by authorities as he was warned last time. Hæsteining Hæsteinn-sama will be going on his usual morning walk to sightseeing the glorious nihonjin country. "Itadakimasu obasan and ojisan", they gave him a mixed smile and a slightly confused expression. Hæsteining Hæsteinn-sama reached the park near the beach, he like to watch kids playing as it is a something that can warm his pure heart. Suddenly, a sudden tremor. No, it's more terrifying than that, it's an earthquake, a huge one. The kids couldn't understand what he was saying, he gestured what he was trying to say, he ordered the kids to stay in the middle of the park as it is too dangerous. But that was Hæsteining Hæsteinn-sama's mistake, he look at the beach from afar. It was huge, a tsunami is coming. Hæsteining Hæsteinn-sama widened his eyes and look at the children and yelled every Japanese word he knew "Arigatou gozaimasu! Gomenasai! Run away minna-san!" The children ran away, the wave is coming, it was at least 100ft tall. Hæsteining Hæsteinn-sama was ashamed with himself, he should have anticipated this, if he did the children would be far away by now. If our daimyo is to become shogun, military leader of all of Japan, we must defeat the current shogunate, the Ashikaga clan, capturing and holding the capital of Kyoto for four seasons. At this point the emperor will declare our clan leader shogun.

I did a similar campaign last time but with the Asia expansion mod instead, where you have an entire map of Europe + Asia. In that game I had to hop on a ton from varangian adventure the abbasids, to the Indians, to the cambodians before finally reaching Japan. It was a fun game, I also ended up invading china and Korea

No joke, someone actually managed that on a previous patch, I think that's part of why they made the requirements a lot more difficult.
