To clarify about the "Greg" thing, that's what he calls his subscribers. He saw other people giving their subscriber communities cool-ass nicknames and decided that his would just be Greg.
more specifically he thought it would be funny to address all his videos to one person
I'd like to see you react to more Danny. Although most of his songs require a LOT of context, as most of them are based around his long-form videos.

The reason there are so many santa clause clips is because this song was originally at the end of a santa clause commentary video he did that he also released separately

The way my jaw dropped. Holy shit the nostalgia. I grew up on Vine compilations and this guy occupied a decent amount of them. I haven’t kept up with him, but GOD, he’s so funny. I forgot how well written this song was 😂 This song ALWAYS played during Christmas time for me and my classmates during junior high. Thanks for reminding me of this, it made my morning.

"Not The Same Person," "Invisible," "Spooky Boy," or "Spooky Man" are all good ones that don't really require further context (some of his songs are about what he covered in the video so they don't always make sense on their own)

If you don't mind missing out on the context for them, I would recommend reacting to "My Dad Is Rich" and "Help Let Me Go" from danny (and yes, those are the actual names of the songs)
"My Dad is Rich" has always been a favorite of mine by Danny
My favourite Danny song is Slime, just because even without context of the video, the song makes sense. I listen to it way too much lol

"yummy" and "i make slime" have got to be my favorites, but those are much better enjoyed after watching the videos they're bundled with - definitely worth watching, though!

Help let me go is my favorite but that one requires two videos for lore but they are great vids! The Varly’s a super here now and the Dolphin Man videos are fantastic! But “Slime” is also great!! (The lore for this one is the ColinKeys video if anyone is wondering)

You should really watch Danny's "Slime" and "spooky boy" or all of the spooky songs (spooky boy, spooky guy, spooky ho and spooky man)
Danny Gonzalez has a habit of making ironic songs that ironically unironically slap. Seriously, i hate most modern music, but his are so good.
Ignore all other comments Slime is Danny's best song by far and is funny without watching the long form video.
Maybe the ghosting Kevin Jonas song? I’d suggest Yummy but that song is mostly references to jokes he made in the long form video. They might not make sense or be funny out of context for more than just “wow that was random” factor.

Another Danny song you should check out is Bad Boy, the lyrics are funny but also have many visual gags. Plus unlike some of Danny's other work, it doesn't require too much context besides the fact that the trend of Bad Boys on TikTok that went on around the song's release, when closely looked at showed the people making the videos were just kind of pathetic. I really hope you react to more of Danny's music!

OH YEAH! You should react to Danny's Halloween spooky songs series! He made one every year for 4 years (although there's a 5th one I just discovered called "Spooky Friends / I'm a Werewolf" that he put online for a short period of time, but you can find it reuploaded here).
I just discovered this channel and I think you should listen to "Blood Related" by Kurtis Conner. That should be right up your alley.

It's worth listening to Danny's other songs too even if you don't watch the full video to get the context of some of the jokes, just to appreciate his musical abilities. Like he does a Justin Beiber parody called "Yummy" and it has several references to jokes he makes in the full video, but the song itself is an absolute banger

Seeing you listen to Danny, I hope you check out Kurtis Conner some time! He makes comedy songs similar to Danny, as in they're in a longer form video. Songs by Kurtis I recommend are: Blood related (country), True Story (Pinocchio disstrack) and a collab between Kurtis and Danny, In Love With A Creeper

OK, never mind one last recommendation, you should watch the music video Great at Crime, by JelloApocalypse. It is associated with an animated series he made, and it is my favorite show of all time.

Getting to see someone really laugh out loud hearing dannys music warms my heart because I think he is brilliant and dare I say underrated (he has a large youtube following but I don't know if his music is as well known outside his audience). Oh and just to add, in the same vein of ex-viners turned commentary youtubers, you could also check out TMG, aka tiny meat gang - cody ko and noel miller. I would say they are a step up in terms of production but definitely more on the rap side.

If you're still taking Danny song recommendations, I'd say that "Rollin" is a good one, it doesn't have any context (but it also doesnt have a music video...), "La Croix" (video is on his second channel) and "Sad and Deep".
Quite different to what you usually review but could I recommend ‘Trailer Park Alien’ by bscott2hot? It has clip-by-clip analysis potential from someone like yourself 😁 Also, Merry Christmas.
Bad Boy and his Spooky songs are probably the most accessible without watching his commentary videos first.

I realized I didn't give enough information on YFM; so just gonna add some quick info, so YFM is created and still done by Ray William Johnson, it recently entered what he calls Gen 2, and for awhile YFM was taken by a company; and it was just gotten back; If you do decide to react (I would very much enjoy it, and would be interested in what you'd have to say) I'd recommend: This is why I'm single, Shitty G, and Grandma got a Facebook, these are spread out across the lifespan of YFM
One of my favorite songs from Danny is Rollin', from his Bump This album. I don't think it has a music video, but I love it so much because the start will absolutely not prepare you for what the rest 90% are about.

In terms of seasonal content, I could not recommend Nick Lutsko's Halloween EPs highly enough, especially Incantations (the one from last year).
I almost got to his stuff this year, but couldn't fit it in with all the other stuff from around that time. Hopefully next Halloween I can!
