20 years my god. Still so, so amazing. This video gives me chills, feels like yesterday I was watching it.
The fact it's 22 years since this came out gives me feel extremely old. I can remember sitting on the couch in my parents house watching this video. Now I'm in my mid 40's?!?!?!?
I remember all the hours spent watching mtv waiting this videoclip and this song and not always with a good ending. It's incredible how internet/youtube/spotify changes everything about have available all the music that you want when you want. Technology changes life, but the good music remain always that
I remembered when my dad played this song very loud in 5 in the morning, where the skies still have a bluish hue. I was very young at that time, 4 or 5 years old if I'm not mistaken. Sadly, my dad passed away when I was 6 years old, and his CDs and casette tapes that contained this as one of the songs is one of the things I treasure the most. I miss you, dad.

Damn, can you imagine how awesome that film would've been had The Edge actually been in it, I know I'm only seeing small snippets of clips with him superimposed into the movie but he looks right at home in that kinda role

I thought he was a part of the movie until I realized he is one of the guys from U2
so what we can take from this is what we already knew: The Edge is U2's most powerful member. come on, tell me they could've defeated Evil U2 without Lara Croft bringing him back in solo-playing condition. not only did he have the key, he WAS the key to save the world from this elevating rock baddies.

I think in this incredible video 'The Edge' has just proved he's one of the coolest people to have ever lived.
U2 performing Elevation on their 2015 innocence and experience tour in Paris with past stage crashers invited to share the stage again is just amazing - what a party - big respect to U2

I grew up with the U218 album, and know every word to every song, and this is all thanks to my dad as im and currently only 16 years old. I remember blasting this on the way to motorbiking as a kid and screaming at the top of my lungs. Because im so young I never thought I would have the chance to see them live performing the songs I love as they came out many many years before I was even born. When I found out about the Joshua Tree re-boot tour you can imagine how unbelievably happy I was because im now booked to see them live in November!!!

Well, iPhones weren't invented yet, lol. iPhones, hmmm, I so prefer my android devices (not starting a war, lol). Didn't people have giant phones back then the size of a brick? 2001...the year I really began to 'live'. The good old days. Can't believe this song and the first Tomb Raider movie is almost 20 years old already, I saw it in theatres!

This and Beautiful Day were the first U2 songs I heard and made me like the band! I was 10 when this album came out. Since then I think I prefer some of their earlier albums but this song is still my favorite! It’s so energetic

This was my first ever favorite song; my dad played U2 all the time in the car until I was 5 years old and he started playing Johnny Cash. He ALWAYS started with either this or it's a beautiful day.

This is probably the craziest (or cheesiest) music video of them, I wish that awesome Edge's riff at 2:55 that he made for the live version was present in the album version as well, but glad he put it here with that funny CGI.

They opened their concert on November 5th, 2001 in Austin Texas with this song. That concert was like a religious experience. It was just what we needed at that moment. Love always to U2. ❤
