    Value in the 21st century tech world is measured by the size of the USER BASE and the DATA it generates. Friction to entry has to be low, it has to provide more value than it takes and its core concept should be explainable in one short sentence. Those are the success metrics all entrepreneurs should bear in mind.

    one question i always had, your number one viewed video says “no cs degree” but for most jobs as a software engineer, do you still need some sort of degree?

    • @InternetMadeCoder
      @InternetMadeCoder  Год назад +9

      If you can code something amazing and thus show your skills - I don't think most companies will care that much. They want someone who can solve problems for them. So show them that you can do that.

    make a simple but efficient web app product and get a good lawyer to make a EULA detailing that once the website goes down no one can get a refund or is entitled to service

    Can someone please tell me if learning web development as a whole (like watching a web dev course) is better for a beginner, or if studying JV until I know the fundamentals and then jumping into web dev is better?

      My personal recommendation is taking a web development boot camp that is taught by your local college or university. It’s what I’m currently doing and it’s helping me learn all the necessary languages on top of offering internships at the end. Having something like that will definitely make getting a job in coding easier than going the self taught route because it’ll help validate your skills

      I'd say to learn the fundamentals first. You should be able to write a for loop from memory.
      You should apply each concept you learn into a small project though. Coming up with ways to apply it takes a while at first since it's still foreign to you but it really teaches you what it does.
