I'm surprised the tumbler survived the nokia...
it was the wrong nokia
If he had used *that* Nokia, I don’t think the other phones would have survived.
A single old school nokia. Yup would have destroyed the rest.

Well razors should be durable because you cut things with them.

Yes. That's no point in putting them in a rock tumbler without the abrasive substance in there too.

This reminds me of the good ol’ days of RUclips. Just some neat things happening on a screen, no clickbait, and double ads or crazy stuff going on.
I wasn't even old kid when that stopped, I was little
The way they were wedged together in there when he tried to dump them out makes me think they were just spinning around in the same position and not actually tumbling.

@@MP-jp1vb yeah I thought they were not very strong
Maybe he mixed up the razor and nokia
Yeah, the razors were garbage for durability. It's the Nokia that's known for durability.
Is this part of the mandala effect? Lol

would really like to see this but with modern flagship phones
"close to indestructable" and he pulls out a razr. Was expecting the Nokia 3310 tbh. But i also think it wouldve destroyed the rock tumbler.
Yea when he started talking about the razr being a staple of durability kinda made me mad he needs to do his research

"Alright guys, I'll see you in a week"
"So it's been a year, I just had stuff going on but let's get this thing out asap" 🤣🤣🤣
Wow this made me laugh
Why am I the only person watching someone loading lipo batteries in to a sealed metal container thinking he's going to explode his garage with shrapnel?
I was thinking the same thing. I cringed when he intentionally put the battery into one of the phones before putting it in the tumbler.
I imagine there’s so little oxygen that even if one of the batteries went into a runaway state it would suffocate especially if the rubber seal works well. I’d be worried about him cracking it open and introducing airflow, it would probably ignite the second he opened it
The interior is a non metallic casing.
You are over estimating the danger of those batteries. They can pop and burn and cause quite a bit of damage but that thing has lots of room in it for the expansion of gas. If every battery in there did it at the very most it would blow out the seal or maybe deform the steel drum a bit.
I stopped thinking after hearing 148 teribits. I heard of gigabits but woah technology.
I could easily watch an entire video of you just unboxing things. I know it's not meant to be, but it's low-key ASMR and it's so relaxing.
As soon as he said nokia, the tumbler be like "why do I hear boss music?!"
final fantasy sephiroth music starts playing

@@TheGamingCaveYT oh shit
anyone else disappointed the "staple of durability" turned out to be anything other than a Nokia 3310?
I think flip phones are just generally weak. The only reason the razr was known as durable was because it was slightly less likely to snap in half. I could've told you it would break before watching this. This is why flip phones went out of style.
George Castullo i think you maybe replied to the wrong comment? 😂
Thats durabilty which means that they do eventually break the nokia still has no know ndurability because none of them have ever broken
Man oh man RUclips houses some dumb people...
Oh and btw if flip phones went out of style because they were likely to snap in half, then why are *foldable phones* literally the new 'big thing'?
You're talking out your rear end. That's not remotely why they went "out of style" as you say...
The only reason why the Nokia 3310 is "indestructible" is because it's 90% plastic 9% metal and 1% glass

I just want to say, I found your channel because I was looking at rock tumbler reviews, but your channels been my main source of entertainment for the last week or two. A lot of good content.
He forgot the abrasives again🤦🏻♂️
I would think after 6 weeks the phones would have been eaten completely lol
He might not have wanted to see what they'd do without abrasives, because with abrasives they'd definitely all be fucked, without the abrasives some of them worked.
The abrasives have to be suspended in water to be completely effective. The water damage would have negated the results.

The kyocera needed charged more, the red light indicator just means a drained battery, it will turn on trust me. i put mine through absolute hell
RIGHT. I put mine through hell and back. Its broke but it still works as a mp3
I needed this video, I'm sick of my phones breaking after one of my many tumbles down a rocky mountain
The Kyocera is literally built for the construction environment it's also water resistant and can be run over by a fully loaded pick-up truck and laugh at you for it. It's also why I use one
No cap I had one and when I got a new one I shot the Kyocera with a pellet gun and it like barely went into the screen and like the phone still worked perfectly
Blackview makes decent ruggedized phones if you like the Kyocera duraforce series but want some newer hardware and software
I had the kyocera duraforce pro and pro 2. The pro 2 the camera stopped working hence why I got an s 10+. The duraforce pro 2 was the replacement for the duraforce pro whose charging port broke
if you want a construction environment phone get the C.A.T phone
Matt M my dad had one and barely dropped it and it broke
I was expecting when he said 'known for its indestructibility' for him to pull out a Nokia 3310
Blockypig Gamer yeah me too
Exactly
that would break the rock tumbler
Exactly not an iPhone 4 🤣😂 one of the least durable iPhones ever made
I didn't see this comment but definitely posted the same thing...when he said razor i couldn't stop laughing
If there's one thing I've garnered from binging this channel, is that almost nothing ever happens from being tumbled for 30 days. Almost every video is, "Oh, well, nothing really happened". Video after video after video. Not all, but most.

That Kyocera is the phone that I'm watching this on, it's actually a quality phone and the red light means charging and you were pressing the wrong Button
Right? Then he puts all this time into the iPhone trying to make it work.
Royce Woodworth did u watch till the end?
i used to have a kyocera until they kept pushing updates that would brick their phones, sent them in for warranty only for them to say it was voided
