Thanks for all the step by step video and details. You’ve given me a lot of confidence to eventually upgrade my 69 Camaro. Please keep it up, the length and style of videos you’re producing make learning a daunting task like this seem possible.

I like to run a #10 from the battery negative to a ground bar mounted near the fuse panel. I then ground everything in the cab to that instead of the body. Even the white ground wire for trailer lights comes from there. I prefer to remove the plastic from crimp connectors, then crimp the wire, then solder, then heat shrink. The heat shrink not only insulates, but also acts as a strain relief. Good stuff, I like your channel.

Zach, I very much appreciate you sharing your early Ford knowledge. Your videos have given me great confidence to tackle many projects on my ‘40 Ford coupe. Here’s my question. I purchased a Vintage Auto Garage turn signal wire harness. If you’re familiar w/ it, I’ve spliced the front yellow & green into existing bulb wire and spliced rear orange & brown into existing green wires to each side. The red wire was connected to the wire leading to the rear of the car from my brake light switch when I turn the turn signals on for either side, all I get is flashers. Every other light function works as it should. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you

Excellent. Just subbed. Have a 1964Chevy P10 stepvan that has some crazy previous owner wiring going on. Looking at the 14 circuit haywire. I like the pre-wired dimmer, guage, headlight switches with connectors. Will let them know you sent me. Thank you for the video, I feel confident I can do it.

Great wiring videos. Have you ever thought about doing wiring an electric fan into a flathead? I appreciate you sharing your knowledge.

Is this the same harness from first episode? Was curious because I’d really like to utilize my stock column and those connections would be great. My original harness is absolutely terrible to point it won’t run the truck unfortunately. So I’ve been searching around and fumbled upon your channel. So any suggestions or advice I’d greatly appreciate it.

Yes this is the same harness, it’s the Haywire 21 circuit, what vehicle do you have I might’ve already wired one up with the original column

@@WiredCustomsSpeedShop it’s actually a 82 c10 swapped on a 79 k10 frame. The wiring is also out of the 79. I checked it all and went through it. Was decent. I cleaned it all up and ran decent. The colum is actually I’d say a early 80s it’s not a tilt option but Is definitely not a 70s the pig tail was same as the original 79 an hooked right up. I had a issue with it though no matter how many times I went through it and cleaned everything was basically just to get it running and testing and wanted to eventually swapped so now I just have no option. I don’t want nothing fancy I just want the old girl safe and run good.
