These speakers are made for commercial studios. I know Noisia uses them in their studio. You can hear the enormous improvement in production quality in their songs after they bought a professional facility. I mean, they used Adam Monitors in their previous albums, which still kick ass. But now, their new stuff is on a different playing field. I don't even know if you can buy ATC for a studio apartment, or a small house. I think you need a building dedicated for something like these.
Why did u get rid of the Eve’s? I have SC307’s but had a really bad distortion in them, and a year of going back and forward to the factory… horrible expierience. Did u also got rid of them because of this? I’ve heard more pairs with the same issue. It’s not very noticeable, but to the trained ear it’s pretty bad! Now got a pair of PMC IB1s, and absolutely blown away with the sound!!

yer i wouldnt buy the ACT, if i was to spend a lot on a speaker i would want full dsp for each speaker driver so i could get the most out of the room and speaker
The biggest upgrade for your studio would be small avalons that sounds like crap but will deliver 99% customer experience. I have expensive speakers too but nowadays, I'm mixing 90% on avalons 10% on the high-end ones. BTW, Your "kicks" sound great on big systems but totally fail on laptop speakers and mobile systems. Think about it

@@dougleydoritefirstly, sorry for my response. Reading it back now, it sounds a bit rough. As an engineer, I do not like "simple" internal cabinet designs. They have their place but as with all speakers however, I am biased towards PMCs design philosophy. Also, I've read quite a few reviews from some if the "big name" studios that are very intimate with the ATC but the PMCs sound more..... Complete than the ATCs. Long story short, many studios are switching to PMCs as they grow and become more well known. I admit I am not familiar with most of the studios because their are so many capitol studios come to mind but a lot of smaller studios are switching as well. There is a studio near by that are currently using Focal SM9s. They will be replaced with two PMC twotwo 8s.
I'm actually really curious, where do you get the money from. how are you capable of paying for this, and all your other gear. what type of projects do you do next to jon sine in ghosting, co production etc to pay for this. props to you, its insaaaanely pricey to buy all this, so im actually trying to comprehend how.

Looking at these beauties I just feel like listening to all the music I've ever heard through them.
I had these monitors for a few weeks, the midrange are magic. I just didn’t like the lack of low end but still great purchase
I installed them into the wall which raises the low end works good for me

Did you ever hear Genelec The Ones 8361a or 8351B? To me they are the best Speakers I've ever heard now. Unfortunately ATC is way to expensive to me.

Best speakers? Don't know about that. The new PMC QB1-A is pretty insane. That ATC midrange is pretty delicious though.
