Very similar to my rig for my FX30 except that I use the Tilta cage and handle. The ARCA Swiss plate is a great standard across multiple brands. Example: I can slide off my tripod right onto my DJI gimbal without removing the cage or changing the baseplate. Simpler is always better!

to comment on the battery stuff, I just tested a very similar setup (fx30 w/ atomos shinobi) using a small rig npf970 and had a total runtime of around 4:30 with the monitor at max brightness
honestly pretty decent and the npf battery seems to be about the size of that v mount, might be heavier tho not sure

That's awesome! So are you using the NPF970 directly attached to the Shinobi? Doesn't seem there's another option without the D-Tap on the battery.
Totally subjective to my own opinion, but I MUCH prefer having the battery off-monitor as it balances much better for handheld and glidecam work and has a lower center of gravity, but if you're on a gimbal with a monitor attached separately I suppose it wouldn't matter. But that's the great thing about rigs these days -- you can build it out to suit your shooting style!
      Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@Gloryvisuals I did do the testing with the battery mounted on the monitor but I plan to change the setup to have the battery behind the camera as you did in this rig, to get a better balance when handheld :)

@@WeiselFalso only problem is that NPF only has a USB-C out and not a Dtap, so you can really only power the camera from it and not both unless you have a workaround - which if you do I wanna hear it! Lol

What lens and diffusion are you using to film these videos?

Hey! The lens is the Sigma 24-70 Art (gen1) and the diffusion is the K&F Concept Black 1/4 Mist
