Malk! A quick question! When you switch on, the camera monitor and external monitor both come to live! But I get either one of them only working when connected. Can you please share me the settings to use for both monitor displays to work? Thanks in anticipation!
Hi Maik, thanks for the video. Have you ever tried mounting the rig on a Ronin RS3? Obviously taking off the top handle, side handle and monitor and maybe using a more compact v-mount. Sometimes I have to get on the gimball and it would be amazing to be able to do the switch as quickly as possible without having to take the whole cage off.
Hi man, have you had any additional cost from shipping/import ? I’m in Belgium and worried that the price is gonna explode with import taxes. Would really appreciate if you have any info
I did an FX3 adaption based on his first build for the a7CII before he released his latest project. That product is awesome but tbh I find the price a little steep. 150-170 would be more realistic. Maybe I'll buy one later down the line but currently I don't need as many ports as provided by the Cineback and am happy with my own build
Would of been dope if you had the product for us to see as I’ve also have seen his video on it. Looks/ sounds good in paper, hopefully the mechanics work as promised as we know risking these kind of things not property working can be a nightmare. As far as sdi, I’d go with whatever external recorder you use. The fx3 has its place and I love it for that. But if you’re shooting that requires all the extras, you’re better off upgrading or renting out for each project. You’ll get much better quality and avoid buying so much extra stuff for an fx3
I would love to have it already to share a review of it but i don't have it... Anyways - I'm super happy with the image quality and bit depth from the internal recording. It is enough for what i am shooting and I am happy with that :)
Saw this product on Calebs channel. Definitely an interesting way to neatly rig this camera. How do think about the audio situation? It's a bit of a shame that you aren't able to use the XLR handle.
Yeah I see the point! But I kind of dislike the ergonomic of the Sony tophandle anyways and just used the 3.5 jack lately. The audio is fine and it doesn't bother me :)
Haha very true! 😂 On the other side sony kind of know what we want and gave it us with the burno 👀😅 But I personnaly am not right there yet altough I would love to have it! 😂
I personally don't use the FX3 tophandle at all. I rather use the 3.5mm jack as this gives me great audio as well and I can use nicer top handle. Way better in my opinion
Glad to hear someone else also agrees that the way you feel about how your rig looks is actually very inportant and impacts motivation to shoot. 😁👌
I have no idea how you can be so hyped about something you haven't even held in your hand yet.
It looks great! Of course, we can always change our mind after we actually use it. But I'm looking forward to trying it.

Cant wait for the cinebak to be back in stock!
rigidpro seems to have stock all the time
Just got mine today and loving it so far! Only thing my Atomos Ninja V still doesn’t come on unless I push the button lol. No big deal though
Happy to hear that man! I would love to connect on instagram and see your rig :)

Just ordered mine, cant wait!
What are you using to attach your monitor to the handle
awesome! Do you already got yours?
I have different magic arms and monitor mounts for different situations :)
dope video. I just made my own using almost all of the same parts. going to make a video for it soon
I think that the best solution is just to get an FX6 (unless you already have an FX3)
Hi Maik, what is the side handle that you are holding with your right hand at 3:59? Thanks
Tilta I think
it's some amazon brand "camvate"
it works for that solution right now but i can't recommend it as the arri rosette doesn't fit on all arri rosettes...

Are you going to post more of your commercial work here in the future?
working on it right now and publishing it today or tomorrow evening :)
It's going to be a BTS + final film
Lamp in background? Where do i get it?
IKEA
nice video, at least that guy knows what we want, we can't say the same from a lot of manufactures 😉

@@MaikHansen the Arri Alexa 35 have also all that i want 😂😂😂
How do you solve the issue of not being able to use the FX3 top handle?
You take the cinebak off and use whatever system you used to use. Its simply not compatible with the cinebak.

It's not a cinema rig if it doesn't have XLR.
high budget sets would have separate recorders for audio and timecode which the fx3 get jam using diety or rode.
So you say the ARRI Mini LF for example is no cinema camera right?
Just ordered mine, cant wait!
What are you using to attach your monitor to the handle
I am using my bright tangerine top handle which got a 3/8" in the front which either fits my magic arm or my monitor "swivel" mount :)
