Yes, you need AT LEAST a 20k fleet. Even then, most of the fleet will die. The dreadnought is a monster (Guardian) for a reason. Think of that one ship, it can take on one of the Fallen Empire's fleets with ease. So don't.

i think that the dreadnought is bulky,armored,and good shields and it as got many,many,many,many,MANY freaking guns

I added the Mandalorians as a faction via a mod and had a migration treaty with them. So I was able to create a Mandalorian clone army. It was awesome.
A few things:
1) There are several Frontier Outposts you inherited in the your newest territory, that's what is draining your influence.
2) There's a 9 mineral system in the 'West' that doesn't have mining stations built.
3) When you go to upgrade your ships and click 'auto-complete', it won't replace fittings - it will only auto-fill empty slots; you need to manually remove outdated fittings to improve the design's efficiency. Less slots filled with power = more room for armor and shields.
4) You can transfer resources to your sectors for them to spend on improvements - this is critical in small sectors such as your far west bubble.
I like to think that a lone stormtrooper was cleaning his gear, happy that the war is over, ready to see his family after so long, then suddenly hearing the news and saying, "WE'RE AT WAR AGAIN?!"
shack there a logo under the overlord logo in the diplomatic menu that tell you how long the integration going to take also shack you can get the integration information in your side menu, in a tab you not got open
Remember, if you are tight on influence you can go to war and humiliate an empire. The warscore is very low and you can get 100 influence out of it.
I'd love if he did that to the holy mandate or something like that but the Jusstkan probably won't go with it.
Funny if he did it to a Fallen Empire... or maybe not.

Welcome one and all to the galactic senate (RP) under the immortal emperor shack. Any and all advise is welcome. As a experienced colonel in the empire I call it to order. I say that clone troopers will lead to clone commandos and they are well worth the cost
Me and my Blood Egles have completed the mission.
Shack the Senate has a grand idea for a Quick Reaction fleet that you should run, code named Tabby's Boot, A few Shack-class carriers. Run by the former Emperior's command carrier, escorted by a mix of venators, nebulons and a pair of Victory IIs. Throw so Broadsides into the mix. This fleet could rock an enemy's force well before their in firing range of the fleet as well as be effective at bombardments and blockades.
I got two thing to say to you after watchin the twelv od episodes in a row:
1: GET THE SENSOR TECH!! they are the upgraded sensor slots for your ships.
2: do go down the bio-tech tree ther is something fun down that line.
Lord shack i wish to speak about a future threat to the empire that has been ignored by us far to long first and foremost i would say that our empire everyone believe is the strongest with good reason from our advance technology, territory size,strong navy, harden armies, and well places alliances. Truly we are a galactic civilization that is feared and respected but that is a lie we tell ourselves to keep ourselves ignorant to the real supreme power .their name is the Fiirak Protectors they are one of the oldest people in the galaxy. Who's power and technology overshadow ours.i known they never posed a threat to us but its only a matter of time as our power grows so does our territory and soon will be bumping borders with them and lets not forget of our alliance with the jusstkan who's vassal. Border them if anything happen with them that'll start a war we wount be prepared and when you think about it the empire was always prepared for everything it is why we have lasted this long we take our time and analysis the situation and make plans not just rusing into things and we study our enemies and possible future threat which we need to do with the protectors and then decided to build up defensive on our border with them our build uo our strength and strike first because make no mistake war with them is inevitable its only a matter of when because we are always looking to expand and conquer it is one of humanity greatest course the choice to head my warning or not is up to you but either way they both have consequences i just hope you pick the right one for all of our sack

Shack, on Eskogg, you tried to build a bunch of armies, but built defense instead of assault armies. Eskogg is probably now the most heavily fortified world in your empire, but you don't really need those fortifications. Oh, and btw, if you ever decide to make a fortress world, plz name it Bastion. It's an Imperial capital/fortress world from the EU.

Dear council members, I have served many years in the empires engineering corps. Engineering has been faced with the biggest problems of all science branches. The planning and structural calculation for the newly ordered dreadnought class is expected to take more than a decade of work. And I expect our emperor to order even greater projects in the future. Even though it may sound unfair to my colleagues in the physics and society departments, we need to focus far more of our resources on building engineering labs so the department can keep up with the emperors demands.

Shack! Why do you always skip the Uplift tech? it is very cool. You can essentially engineer cockroaches into a pop and make the fly your ships and stuff.

Hey, Shack. Quick question, why don't you have the entire Imperial tech tree? The added star wars weapons make the whole mod complete, in my opinion. Nonetheless, love the series! I've already introduced the Galaxy to SSD's in my playthrough.

So, Shack... Do you have any intention of building a SSD or Death Star? In one of the Infinite Galaxies Comics the Death Star is re-named to Justice Star after the empire wins the battle of Yavin IV. Do you intend to build a Death Star and re-name it Justice Star, because i think you can build Death Stars in the mod you are using.

I would at this time, condone the actions of the Republic and it's allies in the constant unprovoked attacks of the Sullarians and their territory. Members of the ruling council have agreed to send medical aid to the Sullarians, though we not be sending military aid to assist. We must focus on the defence of our borders.
Over the concerns from the republic on Imperial ships being seen in their space. It is unfortunate that pirates have taken some of our decommissioned ships. The Galaxy knows how we deal with pirates and we have offered to help the Republic with these pirates, but they have turned down our offer.
I am sure other members of the Council will be making statements as well.

Hey Captain Shack! If you are trying to decide what you want to do with the automated dreadnought, you might want to watch the video "Stellaris - Automated Dreadnought Mechanics by Aspec" The video shows of some pretty important information

Look Shack, I said this in the last episode and I shall say it again, your campaign is going smoothly, although there are some things you could be doing better. For one you absolutely need to micro manage your worlds, too many of them have fallen into disarray and need maintenance by this I mean that you need to place new buildings where necessary, sure you've been upgrading the buildings, but some of your worlds are missing that crucial infrastructure that is to be upgraded. As for in space, there is not much you can do, some of your space stations, however, desperately need a solar array, without that they are draining far too much power. Moving onto combat, your ship designs are great, but when you upgraded ships like the science and construction ships you never actually sent them in for a re-fit, I would recommend doing that as soon as possible. Also, I would try your best to rapidly expand, if you can, gain all of those smaller empires reigned in and under your rule, once you have accomplished this I would then proceed to look for all possible territories to snatch up on the right side of the map, it is a rather unknown region of the empire and should be brought into the fold before any other force desires to take those valuable resources. As for my last little tad bit of advice I would strongly suggest you build up a larger ground force, you will defiantly need more troops if you choose to follow my advice and last, but not least,invade the United Jusstkan Autocracy. I know this sounds crazy, but they have a ton of territory, with many valuable resources, sure they are valuable as an ally now, but later down the line, if you choose to follow my plan after integrating as many subjects as you can and hopefully securing the eastern fronts (gaining territory along the way) it would be in your best interest to look behind you at the Jusstkan, claim them as part of the Empire and from there you should (in theory) be in a very good position to conqueror the entire map. Yes, this may lead you to breaking the federation, but it is for the greater good. I hope you find my advice useful, and have a good day :D. (P.S. Please Please Please re-fit your space ports it could solve your power problems).
Quick Question: why don't you scroll down when you recruit new leaders/scientists? afaik you have upgraded to more than 3 choices...
Just wait a little bit before you start getting the better warp drives, otherwise you might come across.... Interdimensional problems that you can't handle.
Imperial ground forces will have to get an upgrade, FCOM shocktroopers will have to be deployed, as lt. general of the 212th shock troop battalion i have to say either clones or a heavier type of shock troopers
Hello council I know this may seem stupid but I am the head chef and poison detector of the imperial court and I feel this is very important. Poison has been found in the food of the emperor and many of the other members of the ruling council this is including the lady supremo thankfully the poison snoopers (detects poison and destroys it) were able to destroy the poison before it touched the mouths of any of them. As I do have authority I have increased the number of guards of each person from 10 members to 100 members of guard this is exempt from the emperor as the imperial guard has been increased to 2000. This may seem overkill as those troops could be used in the front lines or to support hunter killer group one (see imperial223 for more info) I believe the security of the empower to be number one on the list of priorities.
hey shack I know I'm not on Patreon but I was wondering if you still need admirals I would love to be one. (enter rp) milord my name is Devon Starr I am from planet Bob I have long since supported the need for many wars to fight for it gives us a common goal over all the empire be it the predators or the final protectors I offer my position as a admiral of a small force to help our allies if needed but I would prefer to be on the front lines leading the imperial Navy to glory for the empire.
If you do another campaign, I think you should try a star trek based one. Enjoying the series otherwise. Keep up the great work!
Emperor Shack, in regards to the clone army plan, I would strongly recommend a second look, seeing as clone armies are more disciplined and often more successful then conventional forces. that and an army of clone predators sounds awe inspiring

TheXPGamers Couple Things One Great job !!, Two when you want to find out how long it will before integration you need to hit the little icon with your flag and it will tell you in months. Make sure your fleets obit your home planet. you neet to add Generals to your stormtroopers. and last keep up the great job.
for the next campaign, you could do a halo based one with ISBS and new ship classes and more, a really good combination

this is probably my favorite series on youtube and one of the only big campain series that i've watched all the way from start to now
Shack there is a way to attack with your allies. When you select a fleet on the top left corner there are 3 triangles which enable the function that the federation is following your fleet or your ship the federation.
You know you can see how much time is left for the intergration below the sectors... :)

You need to get a shot for an intro like the start of A New Hope, but with the Heavy Interdictor.

Also going to war with a Fallen Empire is Suicide unless you have Equivalent or Superior Tech compared to them.

Shack, you could have seen the integration progress in the bottom of the outliner. You just had to scroll down.
Also, you could probably have done a 'cede planet' of the Ogi-Nollox and given it to your vassal / protectorate instead of yourself. My federation members usually agreed to that.
And finally, there is a system in the bottom left of your territory that you haven't scanned yet. IF it contains a planet, you might be able to connect the two areas. Small chance, but who knows.

hover mouse over the integration ICON in the contact screen to see how much time is left. Also protectorates give influence, and tributaries give minerals and energy,Cloning unlocks the gene modding tech path btw.
I saw that you kept queing mining networks and power plants before the farms on newly colonized worlds. Remember, farms FIRST so that people doesn't starve.
And be sure to build frontier clinics, they produce food and increase habitability (which is Aaawesome!!!!!!)
Oh, and btw, you are not even near ready for the automated dreadnought, you need at least a 25-30k fleet for that (better with a 30-35+ k).
and please research your engines (both sublight and warp) your fleet is sooo slow!
IF you want to succeed Captain, we'll have to build more imperial fleets eventually.
