God bless you man, I say this all the time and I’ll keep saying it. You come through with the most clutch ass videos! I literally noticed today the indicator on my dash telling me battery low for my key fob and also the horn beeping after you lock the car got much quieter. I figured my battery was low health and needed replacing. Now I’m good if the battery dies thanks to this video. Great content, keep it up the videos! My freaking guy 💯💯💯💯💯

Here I am once again checking your vids out bc I have an issue🤣🤣. First noticed the problem when i was walking away from the car and it would not lock when I press the button. The button on the door handle would lock it, but after a while that stopped working too. Then after that I have to place the fob into the slot for the car to start😏. I found a vid where the guy says to hold down the lock button and press start 3x and wait 10 secs, then hold the lock button and press start 3x. Took a few tries but it works. Was able to lock/unlock the car with the fob and even with the button on the door handle. But it only worked for less than a day🤣🤣. Tried the same procedure, it worked and then stop working. Got frustrated and bang the fob on the counter, I was able to hear the horn from the 3rd floor when I pressed lock.
Thinking there is some kind of short or I just need a new fob.
Ps. I did put in new batteries.
Lol, sorry to be getting caught up on this this late, but what was the permanent solution?
@@EdBwoy lol no worries..I just left it. When it's not working, i just tap the fob on to something and it works😆
@@EdBwoy my button on door handle is not working on m37 2012. Also I feel a kick when switching between drive and reverse?
My fob key won’t work I got a m56x I replaced the battery but I get no power in the car do u think it could be my car battery or fuse box

Just a note, You can lock the car from the inside using the button in the handle the side of the door
It won't let you unlock or lock from inside with no handshake from the key fob hense dead battery or what have you

These cars do not have remote start from the factory, but you can always add it yourself. You could either pay a professional to do it, or I have seen people do it themselves using kits by 12Volt or even Fortin

Hey quick question when you turn your XS on what do your suspension light say 4WAS or AWD
It should say AWD. They xS doesn't have 4WAS.
Do you need to tow the car in order to get it programmed for a new key or can you just order the key from the dealership with your vin?
I've not heard of people successfully calling the dealership for Infiniti/Nissan. I believe the vehicle has to be present, so either tow, or have a locksmith come to you

Hopefully this saves you from wasting your time by the clicking the link because of the title.
An indicator on the dash will actually inform you that the fob battery is weak and needs to be replaced as soon as possible.
At night time when you unlock the door will the headlights come on so you can can see where your going to get something out the car

Hey man in my infiniti m37 do you have and idea how the heated seats operate my passenger seat does not work when I turn the switch or light up could be a fuse could be blown out where could I find this fuse. if it is the problem?
The fuses for the climate control seats are in the fusebox at the left/front corner of the engine bay - behind the intake filter
Hey Ed, I'm having a funny problem with my '13 M37xS. Getting the key system error, but car runs and drives fine BUT I did notice the buttons on the door handle that unlock the doors when you touch them dont work anymore. Any idea what that could be?

@@EdBwoy yeah key fob battery is good. No other key fobs with me.
Sometimes the key fob itself goes bad. It's rare, but you can verify by using your spare and seeing if it behaves the same way

@romeokilo2087 yup. Passenger side door handle was bad. Had to be replaced.
2006 M45 new key fob doesn’t unlock or lock doors and can only start car by inserting key fob any info?

My Infiniti does not do anything when I push the start button. Yours say no key. I wonder why 😭 the only thing that it does it show the little red light that flashes with the key just like yours at the bottom of the screen

You can't. It is going to need a new key fob to be programmed to the car

You do know that a key fob battery could die before the owner gets a chance to replace it, right?
