      Too true, for every 1 second of final video I must have 30 seconds of b-roll video and setup time, and yet it's still not enough sometimes. 99% of youtube viewers will never see the work that goes into each video creators make. Such a shame we get hate comments after putting in such hard work.

    Matti, love watching the videos you and your brother produce. I'm learning a lot. I wondered, have you ever, or would you ever, considered making a behind-the-scenes video of how you make your travel videos? Like what cameras and techniques you use, how to capture good shots while telling a good story? I would love to see the process and what goes into your decision making when you film. Thanks and keep up the awesome work.

  • @MatteoBadini
    @MatteoBadini 6 лет назад +1

    Hi Matti, love your work, this is a great video! When I film B-roll I usually start from one setting shot, like a medium shot of the subject, then I do all the different details. When an object is involved I try to think about what sounds remind me the most of that object, for example if I'm filming the preparation of a cyclist I'll film the shift whit a gear change, the tire on the road, and the the brakes. With this technique I can bring the attention of the viewer to the subject of the interview firstly with the words of the interview itself, then with sound and lastly with the image :)
