i completely agree with you there. there was a reason that guy ended up resorting to joining the contest. that reason being he was thrown off his old contract for being crap so goes to the bbc to try revive an already dead career which is now going to go down the crapper again. cody said the right thing though when she said she didn't want to win. voice winners never really win. the runners up do ;)
This really sounds like her song and different from everything that is out there right now and fresh. This could be a hit single. This is a compliment coming from a big Fleetwood Mac fan.
This girl has a stadium voice...so strong. I'd buy a cover album by this girl tomorrow!

There's no point doing covers if you don't bring something new to it - and she did. I was skeptical as the original is so great, but this blew me away.

Definitely the performance of the night. She was so into this song. It was good to see her moving to it, not because she was choreographed, but because she was so into the emotion of it. Loved her styling as well. I live in the US so can't vote so someone please cast a vote for her for me. Cody all the way!

Truly, truly AWE inspiring and unexpected interpretation of F Mac's classic. There are some other covers of The Chain on RUclips that are terrific, but Cody Frost's is so inventive, soulful and powerful it outshines the sun. The blood red electric backdrop here is stunning and The Voice band is the absolutely, heart-stoppingly first rate. One day far off in the future when Cody Frost is being honored - once again - for her mega-badass career, they will show this video gem and realize her ability was obvious from the start.

Unbelievably good, if real ness is valued in this competition she will win hands down. We love this kind of true artist in the UK and it's why we have turned them out over and over again. I love the Fleetwood Mac version but every time it comes on the radio I have to come back and listen to this. It's not perfect but it moves me in different ways to the original.
Cody is amazing, She rocks every song. I’ve heard many versions of Chain on voice and this version by far is the best! She’s going to be a big star, there’s no one out there like her. She has her own unique style and voice to back it up. WOW!!!

every so often a singer takes an already great song, puts their own twist on it and turns it into a more memorable version than the original, this is what cody has managed to do with this song, i think were see more of this at some point in the near future

Why do i feel like the band enjoy playing with her more. For one the songs she sings are amazing and they arent playing some crappy pop hit( not saying all pop is bad) and when a lot of other people are playing theyre just there. But with other contestants you can actually feel them playing.

I've always liked Fleetwood Mac, and Cody caught the mood and the feel of this tune absolutely right, Cody's voice matches the raspiness of Stevie Nics ( with a hint of Bonny Tyler) so well. By Gad! Cody you will go far!
