You are an absolute shredder, those whips looks flawless. Did you learn how to whip just naturally while progressing jumps or did you practice somewhere safe before hitting the big jumps?

Why thank you! I appreciate it. I think it's a mix of both. When I first learned to whip, I practiced on jumps that I was very familiar with, and that gave enough air time to learn the motions. I just hit those on repeat for a VERY long time, recording myself on my phone to see what I was doing right/wrong. When it comes to hitting larger jumps, I session a few times & get comfortable with each feature before trying to whip.

Dude this is awesome. I’m in my 3rd season of MTB’ing, but spent most my life snowboarding. So it feels somewhat natural, but the courage thing is hard. I def psych myself out. Visited Whis last week and had some success, but a lot of the features on Merchant were just too scary. The drops/step up. How long have you been biking, and what was the progression like in hitting bigger features? Thanks dude!

Thank you! Yeah, I hear you. The mental aspect of the sport can outweigh the physical when you progress to larger features. Fortunately everything at whistler is built so well, so when you’re ready, it’s definitely the best place to push yourself. I’ve been biking for around 4 years.

@@trailswithtk awesome man. The plan is to spend a lot more time there next summer. Digging the uploads, keep ‘em’ coming!

How much time have you been riding in Whistler? You are flying compared to the earlier videos.

I got to spend 3 weeks up there, and rode for around 2-3 hours a day. It’s wild to notice changes in comfort level each day, but still so much to improve. Hoping to go back soon!

Thanks for sharing. I just want to watch uninterrupted PoV riding with no Vlog talking mumbo jumbo and your channel hi the spot. Also can you share what bike you're riding?
