- New carb parts came in last night, bowl, gaskets and a gave it good thorough cleaning... oil change with 5w-40 Rotella synthetic and an ounce of MotorKote, running great. This weeping cherry had to come down, beautiful, but too close to the house and basement. 20 year tree, will make nice firewood.
That is a very reasonable price for the fuel line. Much better than trying to use the plain line. The splitter is doing a great job Craig.
This fuel line has a bend to it that probably would have pinched a regular fuel line, so all in all not too bad.
NICE!!! I keep a hatchet handy for when the fibers don't break through and just give them a wack!
Very nice work sir
Wow that works nice. Much faster than most I have seen.
I put a heavy duty 2 stage pump on it, think its 16 gpm so it's moving quite a bit of fluid.
Gunk in the carb is something we all have delt with on rmall engines S hame we can not get better fuel and additives
Sweet
Building a chute blocker for my Ferris...got 7 acres of leaves to mulch...wish me luck..I'm gonna need it !!
What are you splitting the wood for kindling fire starter?
Lol
Craig just cut the tree down, splitting into smaller pieces so it will dry faster. I would have split it even smaller because it's cherry for smoking in my offset.
Craig, she's a lot faster than my old green $400 Craftsman bard find, but then again, I am slower also.
I think the pump I used was a 16 gpm dual stage, if I run it full throttle it moves pretty quick for a splitter. Can split a lot of wood pretty quick.
Better to set a larger piece of wood vertical on the ground to set the wood on to be split so you don't have to bend over to pick the wood back up.
Works better to have 2 or 3 people when you run the log splitter.
1 more thing, never put your hands in from or back of the log your going to split, safety first, ear plugs help to
Good tips!
