HI BRO MAY I NEED YOUR HELP and opinion
R1 (PTPM BROADCAST) AND DEFAULT ROUTE ALWAYS V7
5 ROUTER DIRECTLY IN THE SAME BROADCAST DOMAIN in a bridge to r1 do they need network type ptpm broadcast on v7? and using still in 2 router v6 version should i set network type ptpm / broadcast?
    NOTE
THE 5 ROUTER ARE DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO THE BACKBONE AREA AND JUST HAVE OTHER AREA FOR CLIENTS
(had a issue in some test r2 getting as a default gateway eth1 r2 ip)
The same set up was working fine as a v6 the 5 router directly to the r1 in a switch and in the same broadcast domain.
i had upgrade the r1 to 2116 and it must work as a v7 version because it is recently produced.
    THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Why you didnt includ loop ip into the ospf and try to ping from area0 to area1?

Hi Nikola, thank you for your comment.
You can add a new interface template including the loopback interface to advertise the loopback address. The simple thing that matters at this point is understanding how we can announce the networks that we need to.
Note - If we are running MPLS or iBGP, we need to advertise the lo IPs since we can use them for transport and establishing the ibgp peerings. In my current topology, it's not required but we can do it for testing purposes as you mentioned.

@@TheNetworkTrip will you create another video for MPLS or iBGP on rOS V7?
