@@AlphaFlight I disagree. For those who don't actively modify or work on their cars, this is still a pretty essential upgrade for this car to control boost properly. They should have spelled it out better for them. By the way, are these overpriced solenoids 2 port? I'd rather buy a $20 Mac valve and plug the 3rd port.
@Adrian N. I also very much disagree with you. This is the only thing Sxth links as their "Instructional" video yet when it comes to the solenoid boost lines it doesn't clearly show where things need to go. What shown is vague. I had to look up other videos on RUclips where they clearly pointed out what goes where. Sxth should link their videos instead.
I did everything in the video and now under load it feels like the boost cuts and makes the car jerk. Ordered a factory solenoid to go back since the plastic nipple on the stock one broke
There’s three ports coming out of this solenoid. Why didn’t you identify which ones go where? They have colors stamped on each one, but no explanation of what it is. Very unclear.
Just installed this on my 2018 elantra sport. Check engine light came on for a boost leak. Car falls flat on ots face and has to be turned off and turned back on to work again until 5 minutes later it falls on its face again. Pretty disappointed, just want my car to work and I spent almost 200 on something that makes my car worse. Any suggestions?
You routed it wrong. They did not show you how to route it in this shit ass video. If the aftermarket solenoid has 3 ports, one of them has to be blocked, and the other two routed correctly. This video doesn't help with that and you probably have it routed wrong.
I am sure you got the info you needed but it is really for an aftermarket BOV. I just did this and I was able to ditch the partial recirculation and go full atmosphere. No more CEL due to over boosting. It also allows you to stay in boost & much smoother power delivery.
@@SwaggykeA so since upgrading the solenoid I haven't had the issue again. Going full atmosphere with my GFB it would happen occasionally. After upgrade and tune I stay in boost and car is completely different. Didn't have any issues with OEM BPV & solenoid. I got my BOV it kept popping up so I got the solenoid. FYI you can get them from Volvo for $40. Anyhow I went 50/50 with OEM solenoid it never happened. But I went full time as I have full bolt ons now. My car keeps pace with much faster cars now
I’ve ordered a rear sway and a downpipe with 3 day shipping in the beginning of the month. It still hasn’t arrived and it’s almost august. Is everything okay? The rear sway has been in processing for over a week and the downpipe was shipped 5 days ago and it still hasn’t arrived.
Where is this Wastegate Solenoid located on 2023 Forte GT 1.6T? I can't seem to find it at that spot where the video shows.
I wish you would have taken more time to better show the steps and where everything should go
It's pretty straight forward. If you can't figure this out you shouldn't be modding

Thank you for making this video!

Same i dont know if i installed it backwards, but after some pulls my turbo exploded or something

Same mines all connected perfectly and I get extremely hard cuts on flat foot. It runs fine when stock..
@@TechnoShuffler909 Did you remove thar little round attachment too? Or just replaced the solenoid?

Will this work with the sonata n-line?
What is the metal nipple for on the solenoid
I've never been this early before... Except that one time I was born.
Why is this part being replaced? Is there an issue with the factory unit?
