This is so sick to see you evolve from MI to Blender. This tutorial actually taught me a lot about animation, regarding the functionality of bezier curves and such. Keep up the great work :)
Literally the most Comprehensive and Reliable Teacher on the Platform ... so Underrated sadly ;-; i've learned a lot from this video and this Channel !
I recommend the free beginner to blender course from cg cookie to understand the tools and layout some of blender, very in depth videos but goes over a lot! Simulations do look fun!!
Pretty useful! especially to people with no prior experience with 3D animation! Pretty easely digesrable love the editing of this video in general too, simple get effective!
it's one of those "i took a week to make this" videos, and i like the outcome i just wish i made more rendered and animated examples, not just interface ones
I am currently messing with Blender and aha I am making my laptop go crazy so imma just wait for a new laptop maybe Another very helpful tip from SharpWind himself
Very great information. A lot told in 18:14 mins. I have always been interested in animation. I did a little bit of Minecraft animation but now I'm kinda getting untreated in 3D animations. So this was pretty helpful. I'm still looking for a animation software but when I find one Imma try these stuff out
How to add sound effects/music and stuff??? Like how do I make the sound surround sound? Aka 3D sound? Like in a editing software where you put in the animation for post-processing, how to make the sounds actually come from somewhere, like if you're wearing headphones or on a 4 speaker setup.
Usually you'd do that in an editing software Premiere pro and davinci resolve have sliders for "left and right" direction, so you're able to make the sounds surround But generally, most editing softwares nowadays have this You should look up a tutorial for more info, that doesnt have much to do with 3D animation, but editing in general - theres a lot of tutorials out there that cover that more specifically
I had so many strokes while was watching this video Closer to end there was less, but still I really think you should expose each step you mentioned, but as separate video
11:17 yep where the difficult is here, especially the skeleton thing definitely hurts my brain ;-; i would watch ur tutorials on blender since its easy to understand whenever its from you, and yeah.. i just started using blender and still a total beginner and wow lots of things i need to learn compare to mine imator, this is totally next level of 3D educations also imagine disney studio 🗿 *get creative and make it functional* -Sharpwind 2021
the thing that im entering is not easy at all my head was hurting when i heard all of these details, and i got a question can i use a complete character model from they internet without molding it ?
Taking online assets is a common practice Just make sure you're mindful of copyright laws and the license that the model you're taking is published under Not all assets are created equal :)
Here because I am a traditional artist who's learning music and I got the idea to make a new version of an old song with an animated video, and I have no idea wtf I am even thinking about. Is it gonna be drawings animation? is it gonna be 3d models animation? With 2d backgrounds? I have no idea what I am doing. Well, time to try 3d modeling n find out if it looks like the thing in my head
Sounds like you're inspired If you decide to give to give 3D animation a go, i've posted a FULL beginner Blender course on youtube 100% for free, where zero prior knowledge is required not too long ago Hope that helps :)
@@SharpWind Oh I am inspired alright. I have the entire video in my head, I know exactly what's gonna happen ;DD I've actually downloaded blender since I wrote this comment and I looked at it but I gave up on trying to figure it out alone, so you are replying just in time. Thanks so much for the free content! When I can, I am coming back and will support you somehow
I'm honestly still confused! I've been trying to focus but just can't seem to wrap my head around it, I am new so this is quite expected... I guess? Please can you give me a brief guide on what this is about?
How 3D animation works and all the necessary steps you need to take to make one work. I'm speaking fast for the youtube audience, but you can slow it down, take it easy and soak it all in :) If you want more insight, you might take away a thing or two from my most recent video
Hey there sharpwind can you make a tutorial or teach me how to make every parts of model in model bench parentable in mine imator... Make it part of models cab separate from the models / parentable Btw new blender tutorial cool Would you make a content all about Minecraft in blender?
I have actually JUST released a complete beginner blender course, where i start from complete 0 and create a beautiful forest scene and i only use free sources, so anyone can follow! You might want to check that out - and if it doesnt suit you, there's always Blender Guru's famous donut tutorial :)
it's easier and harder at the same time it's harder, because there's more options and perimeters you need to set to get it to work properly, but it's easier because the light mixes in a realistic way, so it makes it look natural and pretty
im guessing you're using eevee to render - you need to tweak a lot of the settings to get it to stop glitching - shadow sizes, contact shadows, sample size, etc. (like i've said, it's harder at the same time)
Ahhh I will save this video for future, I swear I need this when I learn blending in art school
Making model in blender always made me feel so satisfied and wanting to do it.cuz is fun to put some detail like on the skin, clothe etc
welp, i hope this video can be a great starting point, and if not, I'll be making Blender tutorials soon :)
This is so sick to see you evolve from MI to Blender. This tutorial actually taught me a lot about animation, regarding the functionality of bezier curves and such. Keep up the great work :)
it sucks that the video is underperforming compared to my usual content though
took me way too much work lmao
Hi sir
I was slowly moving into Blender too, But not gonna completely leaving the Mine-Imator behind.
Respect

this was an awesome tutorial!! thank you! you laid everything out very nicely

Ok i think this is DEEP
THANKS SHARP :D
Just WOW....! Generalist😮
oh yes I love you so much I needed this because I really aspire to be a 3D animator
Thank you Sharpwind, genuinely
very seggsy
did you do it ?
stay sharp
Thanks for giving useful information

Helpful video! nice pink hoodie btw
i dont use blender for animation.. just makin models honestly :/ but it does look like a awesome program to animate with!

Can you do a fire and water simulation?
Well of course, you can make anything

I actually made a good render in blender and personally i think lighting in blender is easier than in Mine-Imator
it's easier and harder at the same time
it's harder, because there's more options and perimeters you need to set to get it to work properly, but it's easier because the light mixes in a realistic way, so it makes it look natural and pretty

@@SharpWind Yes, I do use eevee since i like to put glow in my animation's and renders
You can do that with cycles as well, use the compositor "glare" node, which does the same thing - arguably better
