Irreplaceable? The Covenant doesn't even care if it loses a fleet of 300+ ships(talking about the Invasion fleet in First Strike). And 300 ships are far more material wise than one CSO+ it's 3 to 8 Corvettes. The only thing making the CSO worth more than a 300+ ship fleet would be the Forerunner stuff that's build inside of it,(the O in CSO means it's enhanced with Forerunner tech kinda like the ORS or how ever it was called is enhanced with a Forerunner weapons core). But the Covenant still possesses an entire arm of the milky way galaxy, that are more than enough colonies with recourses to replace one or maybe even multiple CSO's.

Wait, have you kept up with the news? First off: Halo 4 released with Forward unto dawn Live Action web series that was amazing. Secondly, Halo 5 will release with a legit Halo TV show directed by Steven Spielberg.
I know Forward unto dawn was like a mini movie sort of, I have it and yes it was fucking awesome. I mean like a legit space battle massive insane movie like star wars episode three. But as for the Halo 5 Tv show, I heard rumors of this.
jamondshadow A live action series is coming out when the Master Chief collection comes out. Halo: Nightfall, then you have the other live action one by Steven Spielberg.
About the movie; no. It was already announced (many times) that they'd already tried and the budget would've been HUMUNGOUS, so sadly they can't really make a movie they would want that would be loyal without an extreme amount of money. Although there are miniseries and books and podcasts (the podcast is also a miniseries).
The visual storytelling in this short is absolutely amazing. From the inside the-helmet perspective and the reflections through the visor of the helmet. So good.
My friends had brought up this game in a recent conversation and how they thought it was the worst Halo because it was so over-dramatic. I said "HOLD ON, BACK THE FUCK UP." and talked some sense in them. Turns out none have them have ever beaten the campaign, even on Easy. Time to get new friends.
MidasPlayzGamez If you mean the spartan in cryo sleep at the end of halo reach, that was probably not master chief, but Linda who was critically injured and put to cryo sleep during the attack on Reach. If you mean something else please enlighten me, I would be very glad to learn something new.

True... So many powerful cinematics in gaming revolving around brave last stands and the loss of honorable badasses. Especially the ones about the death of a noble (hah, pun) last stand. This one for Reach, Artanis overloading Xel'naga temple (SCII: LOTV), Dying Light end-scene, Thrall & Grom vs Mannaroth (WCIII), and the list goes on. They strip me of my man card each time. Remember Reach and now...Remember BUNGIES Halo. Halo 1-3 ended it as an amazing trilogy and we got an amazing prequel. Remember the times you sat up in your room or your brothers, cousins, etc and sat playing split screen for hours. Remember the days of Halo where you had that Ethernet cord to hook up system link. Remember the days where custom games were filled with MAX players in a lobby to find new friends on Xbox to play with. Remember Cops and Robbers on Halo 3. Remember Halo Machinimas. Remember Grifball. Remember the custom created Zombie modes. Remember Halo. It makes me literally sick to see that I have to now see it as a money engraving franchise. Halo 5? Really? And should we really expect them NOT to make a 6? No Splitscreen? Really? Jet-packs, barrier climbing, super running, air abilities, and now micro-transactions? Look at her. She was so innocent and precious as a franchise. Then she was beaten into a pulp to be squeezed for money and almost an annual money racket. People can say what they want about Destiny. It is a repetitive RPG that some players don't appeal to play. However, MANY do. Many people enjoy those grindy farming RPG'S for fun, and Bungie created one of the biggest fanbases this new gen, along with GTA and Rockstar. People make tons of GTA and Destiny videos that are populated by RUclips. As much as you want to hate the GAME of Destiny, Bungie as a company does it again. They make an atmosphere for people. They make an atmosphere for friends. They make an atmosphere for a community. Halo had a community. Halo had a meaning to us. Now its a meaning for money. #RememberRealHalo
Socialmanfilms Your words touch me to the core. Halo was more than a game, it was a phenomenon. It gave me something to look forward to on the weekends after hours of school. When family came over we would always play it. Trash talk was passed back to back with one another to see who will win the game of capture the flag. Those were the good old days. Now 343 made it seem like worthless trash to be making money off of. Remember Bungie, remember halo.
This gaming trailer is one of the most powerful of all time. But it holds a special power to me because my son was diagnosed with Leukemia and we played Halo Reach Co-op to distract us from the horror of the children’s Oncology Floor. The saddest part is we didn’t know how the game ended so we tried to “beat” that last level together and fought so hard at times and eventually looked up that death was inevitable. Not matter what type of coordination and teamwork we would eventually die. I then told him we passed the game the previous level and it was just bonus context but then that night I just cried in my car. Like the efforts and non stop fighting we would do would not matter in the end. This is why I cry every time I see this trailer. Because I am reminded of his years and years of bravery.

One if the things that defines the original Halos, were their cinematic trailers. The art, the visual story telling. No other video game trailer does that.
Wow! Nice observation there! :D Thank you for saying that. Now the whole Reach story makes much more sense...but it is still sad as hell...:( But i am wondering: How could her Arm be damaged so badly even with the mjolnir? I mean in this scene her arm doesn't look that bad. Or i am blind?

I still remember being a kid, excited to play this game. What a wonderful trailer, what a beautiful game. It's nice to have the same feelings today as I had in 2010, even for a little while.
12 years later, it's still the most emotional, and story driven commercial in gaming released, and it entirely feels like those "It's just a Game" videos. This is how advertisements and games should be made, because nothing else has come close to this masterpiece.
It shows the sacrifice these Spartans commonly made in the books. Also the story of this trailer, which doesn't have any dialog, is better told, and thought out then the 50 minute disappointment we got. They're just trying to make the chief a rebel which is completely antithetical to his actual personality.
Contact Burrito yeah him and Kat. Just by the looks of the trailer you may get the impression Kat is done for, either she will get killed by Covenant while left alone and injured, ambushed, or dies of severe wounds. When Tom came it's as if he wanted to say some last words, and definitely to take Kat back to safety, but no a duty must be done :'|
+Popaleechee kat survives right. shes part of noble and later *SPOILERS* gets shot in the head by a sniper also why do noble members tend to fly into ships with nukes
Looking back at Halo Reach, all I can say is that it’s such an incredible game. I played this since I was only 6 or 7 with my brother, not even understanding how emotional the story, death and basically everything was. Now that I’m older I can finally see how good it was to play especially reaching the ending.
You can see all of Noble Team in this trailer: Kat 2: [0:01] - Right from the start Jorge 5: [0:25] - Firing his chain gun Emile 4: [0:26] - Waving Kat ahead on the left Jun 3: [0:44] - Sniping from his POV. (Awesome extra: In the next scene, the Elite he aimed at, ahead of Kat, gets shot dead) Carter 1: [0:50] - Assassinating an Elite Thom 6: [1:20] - Finishing the fight What a masterpiece

Here you have, the LAST GREAT TRAILER that was made. Before this, trailers were a big deal, "the last day" (Gears of War), "we are ODST" (Halo 3:ODST)... those were great trailers, this was the last one....
Watching this after so many years. Brings back so many memories. Playing online with my mates, playing the campaigns with my neighbours, and most of all having a fun time.
Disagree: Why do you think ONI created that logo "Spartans never die", because everyone knew real UNSC soldiers died, in bulk, and not only by the enemy but also by ONI. On the novel about Reach ONI purposefully jumped the gun and killed a big Covenant charge thinking that the whole lot of UNSC soldiers guarding that place couldn't take them on and they all died with the Covenant, without even being given a chance to fight.
I remember being an 11 years obsessed with halo already , I couldn’t wait for Reach to come out . The day it came out I begged my parents to take to game stop to buy it . As soon as I got home I showed my cousin what I bought and he was so happy , that day we were only two missions away from beating the Campaign before we fell asleep .. @@Starlight-Knight at least Jorge died to destroy a ship that is basically irreplacable for the covenant

Remember Reach.
For real especially when six stays behind on lone wolf so he can die with honor like the rest of his team
not many games or movies nowdays that depict true courage, honor and sacrifice as their themes. thats why entertainment has gone down the shitter. i think sgt johnson said it best in halo 2 "folks need heroes, chief, to give em hope. so smile wouldnt ya? while we got something to smile about"
@@Angst-traum oh I've seen it and as a halo fan it's disheartening seeing the franchise be mistreated like that. I think that's the reason why they went after halo. About the movie; no.

Hey man! Love your channel how you doing?
( ͡ಥ ͜ʖ ͡ಥ)
No shit, she got blasted by a bomb... Lol
Never thought I’d see you here Generation Tech
Heat of the radiation from the plasma bomb. In reach tho her arm is off and replaced w a replacement
12 years later, it's still the most emotional, and story driven commercial in gaming released, and it entirely feels like those "It's just a Game" videos.
This is how advertisements and games should be made, because nothing else has come close to this masterpiece.
how is this actually better than the TV series.
Because it has soul and tegrity
It shows the sacrifice these Spartans commonly made in the books. Also the story of this trailer, which doesn't have any dialog, is better told, and thought out then the 50 minute disappointment we got. They're just trying to make the chief a rebel which is completely antithetical to his actual personality.
It's hard to believe this incredible game came out 12 years ago, what a masterpiece
This is probably the most tragic game trailer I have ever seen :'|
yeah poor tom
Contact Burrito yeah him and Kat. Just by the looks of the trailer you may get the impression Kat is done for, either she will get killed by Covenant while left alone and injured, ambushed, or dies of severe wounds. When Tom came it's as if he wanted to say some last words, and definitely to take Kat back to safety, but no a duty must be done :'|
+Popaleechee kat survives right. shes part of noble and later *SPOILERS* gets shot in the head by a sniper
also why do noble members tend to fly into ships with nukes
+Contact Burrito and got a robot arm
+Tj colbert oh yeah
thats how that happend
Looking back at Halo Reach, all I can say is that it’s such an incredible game.
I played this since I was only 6 or 7 with my brother, not even understanding how emotional the story, death and basically everything was. Now that I’m older I can finally see how good it was to play especially reaching the ending.
You can see all of Noble Team in this trailer:
Kat 2: [0:01] - Right from the start
Jorge 5: [0:25] - Firing his chain gun
Emile 4: [0:26] - Waving Kat ahead on the left
Jun 3: [0:44] - Sniping from his POV. (Awesome extra: In the next scene, the Elite he aimed at, ahead of Kat, gets shot dead)
Carter 1: [0:50] - Assassinating an Elite
Thom 6: [1:20] - Finishing the fight
What a masterpiece
The the hell did you figure that out???
I remember watching this trailer for the first time with a friend of mine and we had my brother drive us to blockbuster to pre order it. Many fun memories playing this with my friend and friends. Now I don't speak with her or any of them. Break my heart. Love this game though. It will forever be one of my time machines to the past.
2019 and this is still one of the best stories out there. Miss you noble six..
Ryan ramos the best halo and the best FPS story no doubt
this two minute trailer is better than the entirety of the Halo tv show
Still the best halo game I've ever played I love you reach and will always remember you
Here you have, the LAST GREAT TRAILER that was made. Before this, trailers were a big deal, "the last day" (Gears of War), "we are ODST" (Halo 3:ODST)... those were great trailers, this was the last one....
Sirzechs Azazel Dead Island's trailer was awesome too
everything became worse now adays pretty much everything
Sirzechs Azazel
**Halo Infinite has entered the chat**

It was fantastic. I get goosebumps everytime
11 years.
Remember Reach.
Watching this after so many years. Brings back so many memories. Playing online with my mates, playing the campaigns with my neighbours, and most of all having a fun time.
Thank you RUclips suggested videos for allowing me to relive this beautiful trailer
Soundtrack of this is so deep.
Real soldiers never die. _Till the end_ .
The ソordi Gonzalez Spartans never die their just missing in action
We went out to the fashion valley mall and I bought it , my dad said okay but don’t be up all night playing it . As soon as I got home I showed my cousin what I bought and he was so happy , that day we were only two missions away from beating the Campaign before we fell asleep .. Man memories when Halo was the Shit !
How did we have all these masterpiece cinematics and they still couldn't get a TV series right?
