Thanks Mario for the great video! I enjoyed every minute.
Thank you Oscar!
Very cool! Thanks again for sharing! 👍🏻
As an European living in TN, I get the shock, horror and stares when I ride in the summer on a sport tower in full leathers, or my crotch rockets. Do miss the spirit of European riding, but I’m also fortunate to have the open wide variety of riding here in the US, I do have the best of both worlds.
You're in a great area to ride.
@@2WR Thank you I do. Next spring I will travel up to WV to ride the head of the Dragon.
Giant’s grace was cool! It’s amazing that apart from the architecture, the country side looks a lot like where I live!
Such a great place to ride!
Good to see I'm not the only one who wears a Helite airbag vest!!
Alain loves his. Nicky and Bernadette wear them as well.
@@2WR I'm surprised you don't see more of them. They are a bit pricey I guess.
Looks like a great adventure thanks for sharing
Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
As always great video....Cant wait to see the rest of the series. :-)
Thanks Ebon!
Love from India!
Cheese factory and brewery, what more do you need? Well, okay, there's doughnuts. And pie. And coffee. Nice riding; except for that foot-dangling on the gravel, Alain really scoots! Looking forward to the Austria/Germany footage!
I don't argue with donuts and pie 😀 Hope you're enjoying the Germany/Austria footage now.
A truly beautiful country, and area. I'm struck by the huge perfectly trimmed hedge on a gravel road... most seem to keep it all crazy neatly trimmed. Did you get to see the Arden forest? Think it's in Neupre'... also a WWII American cemetery and memorial. I've studied much of the WW II history in that area. Great video... thanks.
I don't believe we went thru there
I have some Orval Abbey Trappist beer in my fridge that i cannot wait to try
Nicky (who'll you'll see more of later in this series) is a big fan of that beer.
@@2WR The monks know how to make good beer,i haven't tried a Trappist beer i didn't like yet
I’d spend three hours at the cheese factory. Cheese is tasty. Solid vid Mario.
Thanks Colin
How do you think the new 1290 compares to ours? Great trip so far!!!
Aside from the smaller tank and cast wheels..pretty much the same. And thanks John!
Gas tax in NY is pretty high but you can go to the Indian Reservation and save 40 to 50 cents a gallon. Not a big savings for the bike but filling up the 34 gallon tank on my truck is pretty significant. A can of Copenhagen is a little over 8.00 dollars in a regular store but it's under 4.00 dollars at the Rez so there's that also. Hate NY taxes but that's the only way they can give all the people in the city all that free stuff.
You're 100% correct
