Recommendation from someone who worked at an upscale sandwich shop: GET FIRM PINK TOMATOES, not ripe red ones! They're easier to slice thin, release less of their juices when cut, and have a less strong acidic tomato flavor. Perfect for sandwiches.

And just an FYI ... people don't always have hamburger, hot dog buns or rolls, unless we stuck some in the freezer. So using regular bread, or suggestions on using the extra buns we've frozen, would be helpful. Best of luck! I bet you hit 100,000 subscribers by the end of 2025.

Great question! After quartering it, I run cold water over the cut sides to allow the water to flow through the leaves and remove any dirt
