These 2 games are of the Sega Genesis roms, you can also increase the speed by pushing right on the direction pad on the title screens.

I love at 2:14 they made the side box art exactly like the cardboard boxes Genesis games came later on. The artists did amazing work here. As decent as this looks, I think it's going to have a very limited audience if it is $35-40 like the others. For $20 more you can buy the Capcom Super Pocket Player which has 18 built-in roms (SFII' arcade is one) and itself is an Evercade system greatly expanding its long-value. I prefer the button layout of MyArcade's SFII handheld over other available options and hope they iterate on its design in the future, but I can't see this selling many units because of its release window. Unless it is $15 retail, Capcom Super Pocket just kills it. Releasing last year would have given MyArcade a fighting chance. at least. The SFII Pocket Player is like a portable redesign of that old SFII Champion Edition Plug N' Play (both use Genesis CE!) which is the first time I've had nostalgia for a plug n' play system? Maybe this is an emerging market they're aiming for.

From what I can tell, these looked like the Sega Genesis version of the game. Makes sense since the genesis is so easy to emulate, or even run on a SoC. At this screen size, it isn't a bad direction to go honestly. The Super had some ugly sound compression in the original release. Champion was also reasonably decent.

I would love to see this vs the also upcoming hyper mega tech capcom edition (the new little evercade thing). Quality wise I think my arcade would easily lose against it because of no arcade roms, but i wonder how they stack up when considering each one's price vs features. Personally I reckon 3.5 for thsi one may seem a little too generous a score once hyper mega tech capcom edition is compared, but who knows, i've never played either of these upcoming handheld in person! Looks really cool reminds me of the Tiger Electronic Handhelds but much like the handheld the quality of emulation of this handheld isn’t really holding up well. Screen tearing, no Arcade version, bad audio and also 4 double a batteries to power this thing along with no Micro SD Port. I think the Super Pocket Capcom is a much better choice for a handheld since it supports Evercade carts. But this does have some really nice artwork that alone makes this quite collectable and would look good in anyones collection.

Hey, Cristian. Thanks for checking out my videos and for your comment. I'd be glad to help. When the game first powers on, a brief animation resolves to a game select screen with two large buttons stacked one upon the other, with the top one already selected. That top option is SF2: The New Challengers and the bottom option is SF2: Special Champion Edition. If you tap the A button, New Challengers will launch. Once in a game, you can press the HOME button just above the X button on the top-right of the unit, which will return you to the game select screen. If you'd like to play Champion Edition, you need only tap down once on the d-pad before pressing A, and you'll launch the other game. I hope this clarifies the functionality for you. If you have any further questions, you can always reach back out.

My Arcade's thing has ALWAYS been home ports. Those classic games from Namco and such are usually the NES versions of those classic games. Here you have the Genesis/Mega Drive ports of these games on these systems. Overall, there is nothing wrong with that, as long as people know what they are expecting in the long run. So maybe My Arcade should legally change their name to 'My Home Port Disguised as an Arcade' as 'My Liar' seems a bit harsh. LOL. So there you have it, My Arcade is now using 16-bit game ROM's in it's devices now.

I would tend to lean toward the Pocket Player Pro variation of Mega Man. I think the handheld orientation and d-pad (as you mentioned) better lend themselves to the precision control needed for MM games, and more comfortable for long-term gameplay.

Things that would have made me buy this. 1. It was the Champion Edition of SF 2 (Super SF 2 was always inferior) 2. It was the ARCADE ROM (Why would they choose the Mega Drive version over the arcade?) 3. The D pad resembled the SNES controller (The circle handles differently) As it stands, I'll just grab My Arcade's mini arcade of SF 2 CE. For me, the definitive version of SF 2 will always be the SNES edition of Street Fighter 2 Turbo. Multiple speed options, best audio and most fluid controls.

Bought this specifically because I played the Genesis versions as a kid and it has the proper button layout. That said, it's the same Genesis SoC with bad sound emulation that we've seen for decades from the likes of AT Games. Also, the dpad is pretty bad. You can't just press a diagonal, it even comfortably roll a quarter circle. You have to like rock the opposite direction and really press through it to get it to register. I shouldn't need to back up and do a half circle for a fireball. And forget about accurate jump ins. After one playthrough my left thumb was killing me because of how much harder I had to work the dpad. Disappointing, I like the aesthetics of the device. I might pop it open and try to modify the dpad if possible, but right now I'd rather play something with a good dpad and the wrong 4+shoulder layout.
