These 2600 Atari games are so amazing and fun, I mean us gamers in our 30s have so many options for gaming, yet we still come back to these jewels. And that definitely says something about the quality of Atari :)
It looks cool in all but it's missing way too many classic Atari games for an anniversary edition. Defenders, Pitfall, Dig Dug, Berserk, Space Invaders, Galaxian, etc. This being a 50th anniversary edition, I would have included an updated version of E.T. just for kicks lol. Atari if you're listening, we want an E.T. remake. Also, the paddle games should have been excluded in favor of other games that would have worked better with the control scheme. If I purchased this, it would only be for a few games. Adventure, Adventure 2, Astroids, Yar's Revenge, and probably a few other games on this list, and as a collectors item. Also, most of those sports games on this list should have been excluded in favor of more popular games.
Atari does not have the rights tot hose game licenses. I wish all those gamers were on Atari thanks for watching, thanks for subbing, I appreciate you being here :)
I saw this at a FYE 2 hours out of town. I looked at the game list on the back and the games I wanted were not included so it's a hard pass. It doesnt even have Atari bowling. Shame 🙂
This thing is just missing way too many classic games on the Atari to be worth picking up. I know the games were made by different companies, but when I think back to the 2600, I’m thinking Frogger, Moon Patrol, Defender, Star Wars, Kangaroo, Plaque Attack, Astroblast, Dig Dug, Pacman, Jungle Hunt, Pitfall, Wizards of Wor, Pole Position and a whole slew of other games that are not included with this unit. This thing could have been amazing! But sadly, it is not. Fell too short.
It’s not “before” it’s just further to the left. Your hand position means your right thumb is probably resting above the A button. As you bend it to the left, it naturally will drop down. Right where the B button is
Neat little cool device I could see bringing it on a vacation or keeping in your pocket where you don't want to risk lugging a Steam Deck or EXP. What battery life do you get on those AAAs? It's cheaper than a Super Pocket and I will be curious to see what your go to handheld is for trips and such.
Plzz man it hurts to hear you aint collecting the boxes also. If you one day sell that thing the value is almost the double if you have a box in great shape. Be careful of them ;)

I know what you mean, they could have made it way better.
That looks really cool, I may have to pick one up. Help me to understand, why do they put the B button before the A button?
no freaking idea LOL
