Here is an orchestration that I created of the well known Clock Town theme. I decided to give the theme a very light playful twist by adding little flairs here and there. Here is how it turned out!
Software Used: Logic Pro X, Kontakt 5
Spitfire Audio: Chamber Strings, Albion 1, 2, Percussion, Additional Flutes, Low Reeds, - Видеоклипы
It's hard for me to describe what makes this so excellent and stand out from other orchestrated pieces that people make of synth game music and the like. A lot of channels just take the midi tracks and remaster them with modern sounds but you seem to really understand the mindset and direction that the original composition was striving for.
1:07 is a good example of what I mean, you take the established composition but still make it your own. It's really freakin special. You need more views bro.
Nison545 Ah wow thank you so much for the kind words, it really does mean a lot reading comments like these! It is something I really try to do in my covers, try and add my own twists but make it as unique and as close as possible at the same time if that makes any sense haha! Thanks so much once again!!
If you didn't put the actual program in the video, I would have sworn it was played by real instruments.
Absolutely fantastic job!
You even incorporated the morning section into it, even though that's technically part of it, so cool!
Thanks so much for the comments everyone! :)
Thank YOU for the awesome content!
ClefferNotes Earned another sub! 🙂
I only wish I had found your channel sooner!
Cleffer!? How do you manage to make a grown man very nostalgic and emotional with every new orchestration you release? This is the most authentic sounding version of this song I've ever heard when comparing it to the shabby midi "orchestration" from one of the official albums for the game and the ZREO one. Nothing's ever quite sounded like this!
Oh, boy! This is incredible! ^_^ So far, this is my favorite of your many, many tracks! I actually really love how you didn't make it turn sinister toward the end. Haha! Almost everyone who does an orchestral arrangement of Clock Town makes it Day Three.
there are 2 whole albums of major as mask music, made into movie quality, by theophany, it's called time's end I, and time's end II
Agreee!
I love the happy sounding clock town theme!
right when it started, i shed a tear ;-;
oh this is lovely
I like the extra notes! The opening is a applause worth!
You really put the clock in clocktown. This is so whimsical, I can hear the clicks and clocks of the tower.
Mother Of Celestia That Was Beautiful This Music Brings Back Memories When I First Played Majora's Mask For The N64! Thank You So Much For Orchestra Music! 💗Yay💗
IT SOUNDS SO REAL WTF
I'M SUBSCRIBING
Thanks so much! :)
I've listened to many of your creations. This is the one wich brings back my memories the most, such beautifull version of Clock Town you created! When I close my eyes and listen to this, it feels like I'm actually there!
p.s. I love how you enjoy the beat with the mouse :D
Oh my god this is amazing
Majora's Mask has been my favourite game of the series since i first played it. That might change upon breath of the wild. Say Cleff, why not try and make the 3rd day version? :o I'd like to see what you can do to make a tension brewing song like that :)
Simply, amazing.
Really well done!!!
This is amazing!
What a beautiful arrangement! Well done.
Great job, I really like your fan mades and remixs!
Oh I love how you showed the work as it was going along. The manual format is what I love the most about it, you've earned a new subscriber :)

It is perfect
this is great
I love this arrangement! I was just working on this song for my channel.
This brought some tears to my eyes! I've never heard this song be arranged SOO beautifully! Fantastic!
I am trying to do work like this! (Composition)
Any quick tips you could pass along on composing/arranging orchestrated music? Thanks!
Sippatee Hey thank you so much that means a lot! Sorry for the late reply, for strings: always use the mod wheel / expression to control the natural swells that string players would normally do. 2: Always keep it simple too, I find that layering too many instruments makes things sound undefined. And 3: Have fun experimenting!! There is no right or wrong and always go by the feel instead of thinking whether it’s the right thing to do when writing.
good job !
omg it gave me shivers
Cool remix :)

I can't be the only one who gets Mario Galaxy vibes from this.
i like how it kinda starts off like the sun's song
i'm your fan from here!
You should do Final Hours!
Just speed this video up... XD
+555redkid not Final Day but Final Hours when the moon is about to crash and the dramatic music comes
Ik, I wanted to make it funny by saying that, but never mind...
Congrats, your wish came true
@@555redkid No it was kinda funny
Oh my goodness I love this. I'd like to use this in my wedding for the bridal party to walk down the aisle.
Thank you so much Amanda! That would be amazing!! :)
My wedding was a week ago. We used it and it was PERFECT!
@@amandacarreiro5444 Congrats!
Not to be the bearer of bad news, but, statistically, there's about a 50% chance that you'll get divorced. :/
Great job dude!, I'm really suscribing to you :D
Your channel in general makes me know I still need to learn a lot of things(I compose fan made vgmusic :D), your music work is just wow. How do you get those great instruments?, just curious haha(I use soundfonts but those doesnt compare to the instruments I hear in all your videos)
Thanks so much my friend! Really loving the tracks you have on your channel, they sound fantastic! I use a variety of orchestral sample libraries that run on Kontakt. Mainly from Spitfire and CineSamples. Keep on practising and make the best sound you can with the stuff you have. From what i've heard, it sounds like you are doing a mighty fine job! :)
Sorry I didn't see your message until now, Thank you :D
I'd love an extended version of this
Put at 1.5 speed for day 3
Skype :P
Amazing arrangement!
1:06 wow
I'm somewhat getting a Beatles vibe here
As usual, better than the original ;)
This is incredible! Could I have a download link?
This should be used if Nintendo decided to bring MM to the Switch (or a sequel)
Please do day 2
Can you do the ending song + credits song for Super Mario RPG??????
Can I use this in an RPG I'm making? I'll give credit and it is non-profit!
WHERE IS THE SOUNDCLOUD LINK MY DUDE
I just think of NCS version of this... *toilets flushing in the distance*
Top comment
nope.
are you interested by criticisms in the comment section?
Sure :)
in my opinion you should develop more variations instead of just doing copy / paste ; a reprise of the melodic theme with a soft woodwind instrument (clarinet) would maybe fit very well for example. Also, at 1:08 you glimpse an interesting idea with the flute and the celesta (that sounds as the most personal idea of the track, because it doesn't appear in the original), but unfortunatly, that is not very and deeply developed... In general, your remix are not bad but you should personalize them in order to find your own sound; being audacious with new ideas because it may sound repetitive (for me at least) because of that.... But it depends also of your musical approach throught all your works...do you aim to reproduce in a very precise way the tracks you remix? or do you like to express yourself and developping new ideas by doing remix..? :) sorry for my english
Amazing feedback thank you so much! :) I think most of the time I love the tracks I orchestrate so much, that I don't want to stray too far from the original, in this case, I presented this as an orchestration of the theme instead of a full remix. I however love the ideas that you say about adding my own sound into future covers. The feedback is much appreciated, many thanks! :)
1 dislike! great job!
