Probably, even though mediocre performances didn't stop good songs from qualifying in the past (Neta as an example, and I say this as an Israeli who's proud of her and of her victory and appreciates her talent; but her singing in the actual contest wasn't very good compared to the studio version), so... he should've been "forgiven" and at least made it to the final.
But... it is what it is I guess. Nothing to do about it now...

Rafael if you put attention to the song, this has a sad meaning, it talks about the climate changing and that the earth is dying because no one tries to do something because the people believe all the lies that the media and the governments say. That’s why the song is dark and sad, there can’t be a strong part if it talks about that!!
@@erickalonsochaconmata9683 oh thx for the meaning ! It makes more sense now but I think the problem is not the chorus by itself it's just that it feels like it doesn't belong to the whole song. The verses are building and then you have that melancholic and weak melody and then it builds again it sounds weird for me...but I hope the stage will elevate so fingers crossed !!!

Represent Ukraine and not perform in Russia, or perform in Russia and not represent Ukraine. Sadly she chose for the second option (this is what I heard, I don't know if it is true)
