The wiggle means he was trying to be friendly and he was a scav who possibly wanted to extract with you at that extraction

The factory is the quickest way to learn about sound and armour etc (because the map is so small). But, its a terrible map for survival for new players because there are often fully geared players who camp the extraction until the very end of the game.
@@Reginaldesq Wouldn't there be geared up players in every location guarding extraction points then? All I have learned from this game is that if you are new you won't get shit because there will always be losers in every location just killing new players ruining their experience. This is the same problem day-z had.
@@triscuitdahbiscuit4704 I've been playing for almost a year and only ever found 1 exit camper, as long as you treat the game like your not on even terms until your in the level 40's it's pretty even. That said a completely new level 1 can also kill a level 60+ with a pistol so it works both ways
@@jmorgan2706 Yea I could totally kill superman with a normal bog standard pistol. This game has only gotten bigger recently so the toxicity will grow. Again nobody has sold me on this game, it will fail.
@@triscuitdahbiscuit4704 "It will fail." -Forgets that this game has been running for a good amount of time, and has only grown in popularity and quality with each update.
Just a quick couple of tips:
- Equip your Gamma case on your character. You have acces to this while in raid, and you can store valuable items in it. Even if you die that will go into your stash.
- pay attention to what armor class the armor is, and how many points ist has left. You can repair the armor in stash by right clicking on it.

Yes there's a way , different clothing and if it is a AI you can tell by it's movements

Is that the normal call sign for a player scav who doesnt' want to brawl?
@@zwordsman Scavs are not supposed to fight eachother so human controlled scavs will do the wiggle to another scav to basically say "hey im good you dont need to shoot me" and you can 'work together' or go on your merry way. But if you kill a scav as a scav, they will then turn on you (the AI ones)

shorey66 a container you don’t lose if you die and what you put in it you can keep, jack has the gamma type but you can get others like beta and alpha etc but their called secure containers, if you wanna learn about the game there’s some great tutorial series out their by some of the dedicated eft you tubers like pestily which will teach you pretty much everything you need to know :)

Remember to take Armour Class into consideration when taking new armour, the blue armour you had was better than the white armour, because the blue armour had an armour class of 3, while the white one was class 2.
It's the value right underneath the armour health when you double click on your vest

I love running factory as the juiciest thicc boy and wiping 5 sub level 15 players. I don't understand why people think it's a good starting map haha it's a meatgrinder

A weird thing about this game is the moments where nothing happens are the most thrilling
One golden rule for Tarkov: when you kill one there will be a 2nd. When you kill 2 there will be a 3rd and so on. That means you first start to loot when you are absolutely sure you are safe. Do not rush.

when choosing armour look at the armour's level rather than its max durability
Would you rather have high protection for short-term like a shot or 2 or have a protection which will protect your from more then that? Because of higher durability :P armors gets used and they break better have low protection for longer then a single use high protection and then no protection after that... Seems dumb to me
But the thing is, a Paca won't protect you from anything, whereas a 6B13 Killa with the same durability will take M855A1 and you'll be relatively okay. Even though two plates might have the same durability, it's the type of rounds it'll protect you from that matters because you will never know what somebody else will be running

ok so basically sometimes if your on the same faction of other people they will wiggle or try to be friends with you. ITS VERY RARE THOUGH.

It was very common in Alpha, but, as more people got shot in the back by supposed "new friends" the practise went out of fashion :)
@@Reginaldesq Yes and no, at least a few times a week a little wiggle has saved me and/or the other scav player from us shooting one another. More so on Factory than any other map.

Jack, when you go up metal stairs, and through bushes press caps lock to stealth walk, and you will make a lot less noise. It's very important in this game.

it is. the learning curve is steep as hell but if you put in the effort to learn it's stupid fun. it's really late after the wipe atm though so definitely harder than right after a wipe.

When you play with your PMC you can use your secure container (which is in your stash) for your pouch slot. If you die, you do not lose it and you get to keep whatever it contains.
The thing about watching first time players of Tarkov; it's amazing, it's fun... but I'm also screaming when he keeps that Gamma container in the stash xD
So glad that Jack is playing Tarkov.
Jack next time get a "Zarya" flashbang and throw it in front of your feet, EFT has literally the best flashbang/stun effect in any game! :) ( u can test this in a offline raid, if u feel "safer" that way :D )

btw jack, alt+t= mag check / ammo count, shift+t= check it round is chambered, middle mouse= examining items, folding guns, searching. ctrl+left mouse=put items into backpack/pockets/vest. alt+left mouse=equip guns, armor, backpack, tactical rigs. del key= discard. These are all default keybinds

So the "Gamma container" in your stash is something you can't lose in a raid. Its good to have it on your PMC (main character) everytime. You can put nearly everything you find in a raid in there and even if you die, you wouldn't lose any of the stuff in there. If you find keys, keycards or some good attatchments, its usually always good to put it in your Gamma. Its like a little backpack that you never lose ;)
if you go in as a scav you dont have access to a secure container, but as a scav its really good to get to know the game better and learn maps, extracts, guns and so on. I really enjoy the Tarkov videos, I hope Jack likes the game and keeps playing it :D

Jack, the Gamma case that you have is meant to be used at all times... If you die with your main character you don’t ever lose it and you get to keep any items inside it. I might have commented too early but idk.
Dont unequip the gamma case!
- you can repair armor by right clicking and selecting repair
- use your gamma secure container, you don’t lose it and it acts as “safe” storage
- delete key quickly discards items
- alt + click equips items
- ctl + click moves items quickly from loot to bag/open space
- you got rid of a blue armor class 3 body armor for a armor class 1, depending on durability left, generally pick the higher class armor as it stops more types of rounds

This game is great but complicated at first also jack a tip is that u can just middle click the scroll wheel to fast examine items

The game is out bro "Closed Beta" is just a term that devs use so that people can't yell at them for making a glitch , buggy , incomplete game.
Also devs get more freedom to make big changes without much back lash as they say it is " Closed Beta"

Jack if you read this, be careful, armor points are not very important compared to Armor Class ! The helmet you switched was Class 3, better than the new one you took from the dead guy at the end, Amor Class means that you can resist to higher caliber bullets, witch is very very important,
Armor points is just durability,
Jack, if you get in touch with BSG they can set you up with a Sherpa! A Sherpa is a high level player who's sole purpose is to keep you alive and show you the ropes! You play so many games and might not have nearly the amount of time you really need to put into Tarkov to learn on your own so having the Sherpa will help SO much! Love you man! Keep up the EFT videos!
This game exploded out of nowhere! I'll admit it looks really good!
It was kinda artificial, there is free loot drops when you watch streamers on tarkov. Pretty good as campaign if I would say so myself

Tarkov plays best when you have a friend taking you through like 3 or 4 raids to explain everything to you. Going in solo as a totally new player is daunting and something the devs should really work on.
I hate when games try to simply things for new players. I rather discover everything on my own.
There is a safe under that desk in factory on the 3rd floor. Most components are worth a lot. Food is worth a lot. That gamma container you have cannot be dropped if you have it equipped and anything that you put in it as a once cannot be dropped even if you die.

Jack, also look at the armor rating, you switch and higher rated armor for a lower one. Also some helmet has muffled sound, because of covering the ear.
