I love how Jack is the "noob" being tought how to play but in every Tarkov vid he's always the only one left alive.

Those skills in real life do reflect on game performance in the virtual world, being patient and knowing when to strike.
that's what always happens in a groups. I also play with like full squad of my teammates and they the one who usually gets under fire and die while i survive. They better players, they have more gear, they can afford to play risky and aggressive. Where new players cant. I literally spent 17 mins on interchange sitting on powerstation under some platform in night with rain still and quiet, with nothing but a knife, waiting players and scavs to kill eachother and loot their bodies

When hovering over Meds in your pockets or in your rig, you can hotkey them to the number keys by just pressing the desired number (between 4-0 on the number keys). That way you can Med without opening the inventory menu. When you have your meds hotkeyed you can deal with healing, fixing bleeds, dealing with fractures, and taking painkillers without having to open the menu and take yourself out of the action.

Also just opening your inventory makes a noise that gives away your position like everything else in this game lol

The "lean wiggle" is a sign of a proposed truce usually used between hatchlings and player scavs in an attempt to take on PMCs with numbers and/or continue on your way without unnessesary bloodshead.

But the new T7 thermal goggles go for around 3 million.
The fact that no matter what gear you have someone might be in a spot you're not expecting them to be at might kill you is what makes tarkov such a scary, exiting, adrenaline filled game.

Been playing this game for years. It's good to finally see it gaining momentum. No other game on the market has in depth combat that gets your heart pounding like Tarkov. Gun mods, meds, animations, and sound effects are all incredible.
Agreed the only game that comes close for me is pubg but i dont constantly feel like im on the edge of my seat in that game like i do in tarkov.

Jack Couple quick tips to make life a little easier. If you hover over your meds that are in a pocket or a rig and press a number, it will quick assign it to a number so you dont have to go into your inventory to use them. Also Control click quick picks up items from a player and puts them in your bag. Alt click a helmet, armor, or rig and it will auto assign it to your person.
Dog tags on dead bodies will tell you who killed said player. Alt right click on specific sights like the Valday will change the zoom on the sight as well. Good luck! if you need more tips you can DM me

Tarkov tip of the day. Keep a CMS kit in your gamma you can heal blacked out limbs but most importantly heal a blacked out stomach stopping the massive drain on hydration and energy.
The music at the beginning gave me really strong "Raid: Redemption" vibes

The best part of tarkov is the suspense, in the first 30 seconds you spoil the fact that you survive the raid. It really takes away from the rest of the video when your audience already know that you aren't going to die.

Hey Jack, dunno if you know this. Usable items such as meds and food can be binded to your number keys so long as they are in your pockets or chest rig/armored rig. Simply put the item in either and hit a number key 4-9.
Just a little tip: Don't ever use a gun with no stock on it unless you absolutely have to.

Jack u can hotkey items by dragging medkits painkillers and even guns that are in different main slots to the number bar on the bottom of your screen when your inventory is open!
Head Hunter Rengar or evening quicker just by hovering over the item in question and pressing the key you want to assign it to :)

One tip i would recommend is to hotkey the meds so you don't have to fiddle around with the drop-down menu in combat.

when your stomach is blacked out crouch walking will get you the furthest I can't even recall how many times I've crouch walked to extract

I dont know how people can play and spot targets with their graphics settings looking like this. I prefer this setup, but to each their own.

Overall Vis: 400
Shadow Vis: 40
Antialiasing: TAA
HBAO: Off
SSR: Off
Anisotropic Filter: Off
Sharpness: is player preference but i choose 1.8 to sharpen up the textures from using TAA
Turn everything else on the bottom to off.
These settings boosted my frames to 100fps on all maps on 1440p with RTX 2070, and really helped with player identification.

This is such a nice game in terms of milsim shooters. It has very accurate and realistic gunplay, it puts limits on the physical capabilities of the human body. You can't keep running for very long you can't carry all the stuff you want, if you're injured it reduces your abilitiy to use your weapons efficiently. Teamplay is very good and satisfying, looting is a whole different game on its own with quests from dealers, so you can play solo no problem. But be wary of squads ofc. Just a great game that combines the best of Dayz and Arma. It is however by no means perfect and currently in Beta. Some bugs, stability and balance issues. As one can expect, but really worth it.
I just watch this for the great banter between jack and friends.
Never loot right away... check corners and wait a minute or two to see if the sound attracted any scavs or players
This game seems insane! Looks like a really interesting idea though but seems super tough to learn how to play. If Jack struggles what chance do us mere mortals have!!
Yes, this game has a steep learning curve for sure. I recommend watching Pestily's beginner guides - the newest one is called 'The One With...'.
Markstrom and KRASHED also make really good and informative guides.

When they put in the mechanic that keeps you hurt between raids, that completely killed any desire I had to come back to this game.

Yeah it really doesn’t bother me and I play regularly. It’s such a minor inconvenience comparable to having to remember to bring nades into a raid, or repairing your weapon every now and then.
