Romanian is a beautiful language! it sounds Italian with a lil bit of bulgarian for me! beautiful! 💕
It took me time to realize when romanian changed to Italian 😂😂😂 they sound very alike.
My mother was able to communicate with some Romanian workers (who were busy renovating our house) simply by speaking to them in our local dialect. It was really shocking
STRONZATA ENORME.
Yes romanian and Italian are very very close we Romanians can understand about 80% Italian. In many cases its entire phrases and sentences that are almost the exact same even. They simply sound pronounced in a different dialect. But Italy itself has so many dialect even they don't understand each other hahahahaha. Romanian is like the dialect of their language in the Slavic region i guess 🤣😄 .
@@GoodMusicManiac999 It's even easier in writing
Not really... a few words are pronounced the same way (like “produce”, “verde”, “pagina”) but aside from that they actually have very different sounds.
To us italians, romanians sound kinda slavic, even when they speak italian with their own accents.
They all sounded amazing but I’m going with French it just sounds so beautiful to listen to!

Actually, Romanian and Italian are the closest languages to Latin , then we have Spanish and Portuguese.
French is the furthest language to Latin :))
In actually spanish is closer than romanian, you have 80% from latin words and spanish 85%
french actually has the most latin words of them all but just pronounce them very differently
@@skylight0656 spanish has 20% arab words in basic vocabulary, also romanian kept the latin grammar unlike all latin countries
@@healththenopulence5106 grammar is different when you pronounce the word, spanish and italian is closer to latin than portuguese, romanian and french.
@@healththenopulence5106 Romanian is a mixed mutt language , it sounds Slavic. It doesn’t sound like Italian or French or Spanish. So sit down.
French only sounds a little different because its accent comes from celtic roots (the way Gaulish speaking Gauls and Gallo-Romans used to pronounce Latin in Gaul) and latin roots. Yet, this has only to do with the pronunciation of French, not the rest of this language which is very much like the other Romance Languages
Listen to European Portuguese (especially the Micaelense accent from the Azores) and you'll see how similiar the it is with French in terms of phonetics.
Try to listen to Catalan it so odd how it reminds me of French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
No, french is different because of the fact that french people are mainly of celtic (Gaulish and Brittonish) and germanic (Franks, Burgonds, Alamans) origins. French pronunciation is very close to german.
@@GB-ek2emlol french people british and german???

If you speak spanish so the italian and portuguese will be easy to learn.

yes it is this is the reason why romanian is latin 70% for example we saying Evening (seara) italian(sera) hand(Mână) italian (mano) sister (soră) italian(sorella) brother( frate) italian(fratello) not similar :))) stop calling romanian it s slavic because we don t understand nothing from slavic languages we understand only from latin a little bit and from italian most
Aaron Fasshauer Indeed it s sound :))
@@gabytrifoy7012 Yeah, your pronunciation is mostly phonetic, like italian and spanish! and you have only a slavic influence, which is around 15% of your vocabulary! As a bulgarian speaker I recognize a lot of slavic words in romanian!

The italian phrase should be:
La lingua dell'amore
Amo la lingua = I love the language
🇷🇴 Romanța, limbajul iubirii. Would translate into-> romance("love" not "romance languages"), the language of love.
Limbaju' it's more of a vulgar way to say it, iubirii was just misspelled, we don't spell "romance" like that, "ce" would sound like the Czech "č".
I think what you meant to say was: limbile romanice, limbile iubirii. Which translated sounds like-> the romance languages, the languages of love.

"Romanice, limbile amorului" has the same meaning.. in the french has the same conotation as romanian

Let's just all agree that the spoken language is more difficult to understand than the written language. While you don't understand Romanian by ear, when you see it written I can guarantee you will recognize a lot of words (especially if you're versed in Latin, Italian and/or Spanish) and even be able to make sense of full sentences just by deducing what 2-3 words mean. Read a phrase in Clasic Latin and after it, in the other Latin descendant languages, see which sounds closer.
Entiendo lo mismo al rumano y al francés.

99% spanish 🇪🇸

99? Tá doido 93%
20% of the Romanian words in the video are person names. That means your 25% is actually 30.
As a native Spanish speaker, I find Romanian almost incomprehensible. I get a word here and there, but most of the time I have no idea what they're saying. I have studied Portuguese, Italian, and French. Italian I can understand almost 100%. Portuguese from Portugal is a bit harder to follow than Brazilian Portuguese, but I understand it anyway. French, on the other hand, is a bit trickier I find, because of the pronunciation. Going back to Romanian, the fact that I've never studied Romanian might be a factor in why I can't understand it. However, I was able to understand a decent amount of Portuguese and Italian even when I was a child, when I hadn't yet studied those languages. I think Romanian has been isolated from the other Romance languages for too long, and developed in a different way, whereas there has been a lot of interaction among the other Romance languages, which has helped them to develop in a way that has kept them closer to one another.
Romanian remained conservatiove, the other Romance languages devlopped farther from Latin. And also exposure.
Portugues brasileiro e português de Portugal são tão semelhantes, mas ao mesmo tempo tão diferentes. Chega a ser engraçado
I've just recently listened to a comparison of both, and the Brasilian Portuguese is a lot easier to understand, it has a slower cadence and is a lot more melodic sounding, sometimes I think it is similar in pronouncing some words with some American accents (weirdly enough), but Portugal Portuguese sounds more 'European', I suppose, and a lot more organic.
@@portishphonic I once heard two guys speaking Portugal portuguese on TV, I wasn't paying any attention, and I thought they were speaking in russian haha

La fonética portuguesa es más semejante al francés...
Quê? ahaha nada a ver. A fonética portuguesa tem mais em comum com o russo que com o francês
@@Paguo jajajaja cierto, a veces cuando escucho portugués sin prestar mucha atención, me creo que estoy escuchando a alguien hablar ruso 😂😂😂
@Philippe Soy francés y no hablo español mucho, pero estoy acuerdo contigo. ¡La fonética francés y portuguesa son muy semejantes!
Philippe No, quise decir que estoy tomando el español como segunda lengua y no lo hablo mucho.

Brazilian vernacular is my favourite. Spanish, French and Italian just lank something, they are too artificial or sterile. Oh, Neapolitan is also cool. Senza giacca e cravatta.
