Our Gear:
Canon G7X Mark II: amzn.to/2nDh9UH (it’s amazing and basically sees in the dark)
Canon G7X: amzn.to/2mMmPrd (the original is almost as good, but less expensive)
Joby Gorillapod: amzn.to/2n6m92y (fantastic versatile bendy tripod - this is the slightly smaller “action” version that’s easier to travel with and comes with a mount for a camera and a gopro)
Macbook Air: amzn.to/2n6rPtc (we edit everything on Final Cut Pro on a Macbook Air, which is light and easy to travel with)
External Hard Drive: amzn.to/2nD6o4F (the videos are a little too big for the macbook air to handle, so I edit everything off an external hard drive)

I love this video ! Mission San Juan is my baby( my fav out of all the missions) I can watch this video many times in a day
Thanks so much, Laura. That's really nice of you to say. And I agree. The missions may not be a huge tourist draw, but visiting them was one of my favorite experiences in Texas. They're all so unique and interesting!
Great little tour, information, views. Much appreciated; I’ll be there in a couple of weeks, I hope!
Have a great time! I thought the missions were so interesting to visit. Thanks for watching! -Brian
Great video, we're going out to explore the missions again later this week! Can't wait!
Have fun! I had a blast exploring them. They were so interesting! -Brian
my teacher sent this to me
I rate this video a 100/10
Wow! Thanks so much!
Great footage! Loved the little bits of info you tossed in every so often. When/if you get to San Fransisco on your cross country trip, check out the Sutro Baths for a great ruins adventure. Loved it!
Yes! I just recently saw a video about the Sutro Baths and I really want to go. Thanks for the tip!
I have been to all the San Antonio missions! So nice to visit over and over!
Yeah, they're so interesting and unique. Glad I was able to visit them as well.
and they are all free to see!
@@davidandmercywhipple Yeah, that's always a plus.
This video made me happy 😊
Yay! Glad I could put a smile on your face. Your comment made me happy. :) -Brian
When we first moved to San Antonio, we visited the same missions, and had them to ourselves as well. Outside of Mission San Jose, we saw no one else at all, not even park rangers, so we really got to do in-depth explorations without interruption or interference. We even got into places that are closed off to the public now, because nobody was around to tell us no, and there weren't any warning signs up, either!
At the end of the day, the first person we saw outside of San Jose was at Espada, and that was only because it was the park ranger there to close the site down. Except he let us stay way past the official closing time.
That was back in the 90s, and you can't do any of that now.
Yeah, I love exploring places before there are any rules. We've explored a lot of ruins in Mexico and Asia like that and it's always a blast. -Brian
i like this video teacher recommended
Thank you!
Nice video!
Thank you! :)
Good job filming
Thank you! I loved exploring these missions. -Brian
Very Interesting🤔
Glad you think so! I did, too. :)
Wow, that place is beautiful! I don't know why, but I never imaged Texas being pretty like that haha
I know! We're planning a road trip across the country right now, and the thing I hear the most from people who've done it before is that there is NOTHING in Texas. But I think they mean everything west of San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas. -Brian
Suggest checking out San Angelo (artsy, and park areas) and Big Bend National Park, especially in the spring. (I'm a Coloradan, so not a Texan, but have found those areas to be beautiful in their own way. Also, geologic history in western Texas is interesting.)
Texas isn't like what you see in movies or TV shows. It has a variety of unique geographic regions, from coastal plains in the southeast of the state to big rock canyons in the Panhandle to mountains near El Paso to massive pine barren forests in East Texas to the Hill Country north of San Antonio/west of Austin.
Cool
Thanks!
My teacher send to me I just love the video so cool
Thanks so much! Glad you liked the video. Hope you have a great day!
Nacogdoches!! Love that town!
Such a great place to visit.
Perfect Little Planet gotta represent the hometown
My teacher made me wach this and I went there in 2019 spring break Right when covid-19 started
Not a bad last place to explore before quarantine.
@@PerfectLittlePlanet yep although I did not get to go into building
@@PerfectLittlePlanet sadly the district blocked your video
@@ShowierData9978 What district? Your school district?
@@PerfectLittlePlanet yes my school district
You can wlak all 5 mission?Thank you
Technically, yes. From Espada to the Alamo is 8.5 miles. In the Texas heat, that wouldn't be a pleasant walk, but it is possible.
hi how can I share my cool mission sun set photos of San Antonio to you.
Cool! Yeah, email me at Brian at perfectlittleplanet dot com. I'd love to see them!
