- I’ve been planning this video for the longest as it’s probably been my most requested. As the channel started getting closer to 2k subs it started taking more and more shape and so here it is guys, a full mods list of my 2014 Fusion! There’s still tons more to address on the car and on top of that a handful of parts I would like to change but as the car is now she’s definitely a big step up from how she was stock. It’s definitely been a fun journey but there’s still so much left to do on the car, nonetheless thank you so much for supporting the channel!

I read somewhere that the fusion actually got some of its looks from the Aston Martin. because Ford owned them for awhile

Yes ford owned Aston Martin. That's where they got the grill design and Aston couldn't do shit about it because ford owned them lol. I'm getting a fusion this summer and I'm putting a custom Aston badge on the front lol.

Got myself a ford fusion about 4 months ago and it's been pretty well used and I have no experience with cars or modding so this video really helped me realize that I can breathe some live back into this car without knowing a whole ton and it at least gives me some good places to start
I'm picking my 2014 fusion next week and plan on doing some mods on it . Instead of having the chrome I'm going with gold accenting being that mine is maroon , your car looks awesome by the way . Great video man .

Where did you order the tinted headlight assembly? I tinted my headlights and taillights myself with a vinyl wrap but I would love to replace the assembly all together! Looks cleaner 🤙🏻

I got my shadow black 2016 Ford Fusion last year and it’s the best car ever. It was very gently used and well taken care of but I’m looking to make some upgrades just to make it more modern/sleek so thank you for all of these ideas!!

Had a 2011 Kia optima 2.0 turbo fwd, parked it and got a 2017 ford fusion 2.0 turbo awd no regrets at all!

Fusions are one of the few cars Ford did that looked good every generation. Sham they stopped making them.

My 2020 Titanium has dual exhaust but it is chromed outlined and flush with the bumper. Your quad black pipes definitely look better. I'm surprised you don't have a black license plate frame or mud flaps. The flaps I got fit tight, give it an elegant look and keeps behind the wheels much cleaner but they tend to collect snow and such on those winter days.

It’s a Fusion Sport. The only reason you’d want to mod a car this much. I have the 1.5L with Steeda CAI and Boomba throttle body spacer, but I stopped any additional mods cuz the car just isn’t fast enough stock for that stuff to make a difference. The Sport is a completely different beast with AWD and that 2.7 Ecoboost V6
Still love my 14 fusion. In an abundant sea of corollas and civics.

Love this bro!! I have a 2016 Hyundai Sonata and I think it looks really similar to the Ford Fusion. Mine is also white and we have made very very similar builds nice work man. Wish the Sonata had dope headlights like that.
I have a '19 Fusion Hyrbid, cant really tune a hybrid lol but I love the car, its amazing and nice looking. Luv urs too.

Yeah hybrid mods usually stick to the cosmetic and possibly suspension but even the hybrid has a really solid response off the line!

Make sure if you want to modify a fusions headlights or taillights that you get a model older than 2017. In 2017 they added a chrome strip that goes onto the taillights and changed the bulbs and styling of the headlights so you can’t do halos for the headlights and can’t put on cool aftermarket taillights that are out there for the models older than 2017

Hello, I love your Fusion, it's sick. I have a 2020 Ford Fusion and I love it. Is the a way to sequential drivers and passenger side mirrors on it. Also love the honeycomb grill. Looks like you have the same annoying problem I have with my 2020, in that the white painted metal of the hood and the white painted plastic of the bumper are not 100% the same shade. Some people cannot tell the difference but I can. And I see it on yours as well. The Ford paint in general is the thinnest of all the cars I've owned, but I still love my 2020 Ford Fusion Titanium AWD. I wouldn't change my LED headlights, but I love your tail lights!

Congrats on 2k! The car looks fantastic. You mentioned the only thing on the rear that still looks like a Fusion are the reflectors at the bottom; do you plan on swapping those out with LEDs? I bought some but I'm hesitant to put them on as I have almost no experience with wiring.

Bravo! The only mods I do are to increase fuel economy, but you made me want to drop some quid into my 2017 2.0 SE. What did that muffler delete do for your gas mileage? Does it backfire?

But it’s actually the same, I can get the same fuel economy driving how I used to drive, just driving is more enjoyable now

Nice looking car. I'm debating doing similar things to my 2019 Fusion SE. Haven't decided if its worth it yet to the spend the money upgrading a non Sport version though.
I have 2017 Ford fusion 2.5l SE and it definitely makes you want to keep it after doing exhaust and intake and turbo fuck it I'm gonna put the 1000 bucks of upgrade in it. Max hp around mid upper 200

So I love your fusion. I have a 2015 titanium and I just recently hit an animal and it ruined my bumper, do you have any recommendations for a replacement bumper? I had bought a splitter a week before I hit the animal so it wasn’t put on. But I want a better than stock bumper, if you have any recommendations, please let me know

When you did the seat swap did you know you would get the added functions from the titanium seats?. Did you also know that the fusion sport would interface perfectly with the extra heating zones from the titanium seats?

I’m new to this page (soon will be buying a Fusion Platinum and been recently researching mods). But can a regular person do these kind of mods? Or does a lot (any) of this stuff require an intense knowledge of cars and mechanic ability?
A regular person can definitely do all of these! I didn’t have extensive knowledge starting out but the more I did the more comfortable I got with it so it’s just giving it a shot 👍🏼

I have a 2019 Fusion and would love to do some of the same mods you've added. My struggle is finding parts that are similar that will work. Any suggestions? I've done a bit of searching and am not finding much. Most of the links for parts you've listed (mainly the eBay ones) are no longer availalbe or exist.

Any engine mods/performance. I have a 2018 2.0 ecoboost and im thinking of getting the 13-16 closed deck 2.0 as the open deck cant handle power, and i plan on going big turbo (im on an E30 mix currently with FBO) the car looks great. Kinda wish i bought a 13-16. The porche style tail lights look amazing. Only reason i got the 18 was b/c the headlights, tail light / front end face lift. But some people really made the 13-16 look amazing 😭
No performance mods bc mines a hybrid, I just wanted to make a badass daily driver. My corvettes all the performance! But don’t worry im sure stuffs coming for your 2018!
@@DitoCardona thanks man. Planning on getting that closed deck earlier gen 2.0, and upgrading the shitty tranny. We’re sitting at 300whp and 380wtq on this E30 tune, and somewhere near 4,000lb’s flat with awd. Its fun clapping the guys who dont know what this car can do. P/w im up with stock scats 😭. Also your car looks amazing. Them porche style tail lights are just so nice. Jealous asf they dont make them for the newer gen
I noticed that you have climate controls on the right dash screen -- how the heck did you do that?! I have to do a ROM hack with a Laptop/OBD dongle on my 2020.
Question about your headlight upgrade, did you or have you any issues where the left light cuts out when you use blinkers or open doors? I had done an HID upgrade and had the issue, figuring it was because of the HID's. But recently I installed a different set of aftermarket headlight assemblies with LED's and at first I had no issues but the next day, again my left headlight cuts out when I use a blinker or open a door.

2014-2016. The 2013 is the first model year of the fusion, although it is good, I wouldn’t get the first production year of any car for the most part. I own a 14 titanium and it has done me great
I agree with Zoom, The 2014-2016 currently has more aftermarket support in parts and mods, but the 2017+ are all newer technology. So if you’re going to mess with it I’d recommend 2014-2016, if it’s going to stay predominantly as is then a newer one for sure 👍🏼
The cleanest Fusion I have ever seen. Next do an engine swap for an LS motor, and smoke some Mustangs. Kinda looks like one on the front end. One step at a time though.
Did you buy it brand new? Been HIGHLY debating buying one used at 54k miles due to me seeing they have transmission issues. A reply back would be awesome.
I actually bought it used and she’s a 2014 so she’s pretty old, with normal maintenance everything’s been solid but I can’t speak for everyone. However at 54k miles, if everything checks out in terms of use then it sounds like a good deal 👍🏼

Side louvers look great on mine, but wish there'd be someone who made a more traditional rear window louver instead of those clown Lambo look ones with the goofy slash/angle look to them.

You should get some LED hub caps! they stay still when the cars moving and light up from it!
The stock LED headlights on my 2018 Fusion are ridiculouslu bright. People think I have my broghts on but its because they aim higher than your typical headlights.
The honey com grill came standard with my Platinum. I couldnt stand the slat grill.

I need to know.... I have a '14 and it came with bs standard steel 16" rims. So basically I can go up to 18's? Is that the max? I HATE my hubcaps. I just want inexpensive rims to get me by.
I believe at stock height you can go up to 20s without rubbing, I could be wrong but 19s and 20s are pretty common

I have a 19 , that website you put for the white trim pieces is hard to find on there. U have any others?
The white trim is just the stock trim removed and custom painted, all you gotta pay for is the paint or service and use your stock pieces!

Side rear window louvers look good. Pick the straight ones that compliment the line between the back door frame and the small window. Those can be had for 25-40 bucks.

i love your car. I have a ford fusion 2014, the question about connecting the console works because I did it too, it even works to connect the phone via HDMI2AV but only on the post, if the gear changes, the display option blocks any idea how to unlock it?
Thanks! Its a safety feature Ford installed so your best bet would be to go to an independent car electronics shop (most chain shops wouldn't do it) and have them remove the feature
@@DitoCardona Thanks for your reply. I have an OBD cable and forscan software which I made a few changes, i.e. changing the frequency to even and odd or lighting the bends with halogen :) I will look better, maybe I will also find it
