You could easily go an extra thirty with the whole gym class watching you… I still have fond memories of being the last one left in the pacer test. Closest thing to a main character moment in my entire life 😭
Lol we never had this, but we had the mile. I was always in 2nd right behind another kid. Neither of us ran track or cross country and out gym teacher begged us. We both played soccer during cross country. And track was tennis season.
Okay, but I got 169,420 in -43rd grade before my mom was born while wearing pants, shaving my head, balancing on one foot, driving to Alaska, playing Raid Shadow Legends, drinking LMNT, eating GoodChop, doing a backflip, inventing a new parkour move, dueling Aaron Burr, wearing Nike SigmaFlys, while putting on de-spiked spikes, filling my water bottle, going to the store to get milk, watching the Athlete Special’s 5k video where he tried to speed-walk faster than the average male while using a formidable arm swing, beating tidal wave in geometry dash, downloading RUclips, finding my Gym Class Hero, eating soup, catching a cold, being cold, hopping on one finger, while pushing off my glute to get a good start, while typing in “pseudopseudohypoparathyroidism” in word bomb while playing Roblox, stopping on 171 to use my rest time, getting 173, not making a joke on 169, running 2.12 miles in 10 minutes, reviewing alphaflys and vaporflys, all while running out of word space in RUclips’s comment sectio-
Wow! That was pretty interesting and fun to watch! I never knew of this game challenge before. I was wondering if the time between turnarounds keeps getting shorter so that you had to keep running faster and faster, or if it stays the same.
Oh the dreaded beep test! I have no idea how far I went but ended up in the final two with a guy in my class (me being the girl!). I thought we clocked it but am sure that can't be right!
I did cross country and won state and we did the pacer test for fun. In 6th grade I got a score of 137 on the 20 meters beating the school district record by 21 for elementary. In middle school I got 197 so close to 200 I used to do sprinting events in track and field and dominated in those to so that’s how I did so good in the pacer then senior year of highschool I really pushed it due to cross country and got a score of 247 after that I couldn’t walk for 20 minutes and best the district record by 37 laps. I was off of the state record by 4 laps. I really feel like you need to be line a short distance runner like a 1600 meter runner with my stats to get a score like that but no I do long distances I’ve done marathons and half marathons but my favorite are 5ks and sometimes 10ks
What is a pacer test? I went to US public schools and never had a pacer test? Is it common? We had the Presidential Physical Fitness Test (I think that is what it was called) that had things like a mile, a 50 yard dash, sit-ups, push-ups, standing broad jump, pull-ups, and maybe a few other things.
Alright here we go, the pacer test is nowadays a standard test that elementary and middle school and high school kids must take. It is basically to test your aerobic capacity and your endurance and strength in running. This is a cardio test designed to get averages of people's pacer scores and can determine the level of fitness you are at and can help coaches train you to do better. Hope this helps
@ Interesting-is it something that a child must pass to graduate? Or does a child need to improve a certain percent each year? What is the point of it? To encourage fitness-or to punish those who are not fit? Or both?
The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start

@@UnBeAtabLe9735nah cuz like low key if he was a national level athlete in 3rd grade I could see it since it’s only like 10 or 15 meters compared to the traditional 20 and there are kids in 3rd grade running like 5:10 But chances are it’s a joke and that paragraph was a waste of a time lol
To calculate your 20m pacer test score from your 15m pacer test score, calculate the following. [15m pacer laps] x 15 / [20]. 173 x 15 / 20 =129. Unfortunately you did not break your personal best.

hi allie

Time to rebrand as the Pacer Special.

mile > pacer

Going crazy on the videos. I'm not complaining, more for me to watch👑
im in the UK and have only ever known it as the 'bleep test' haaaa
SAME
I got 144 on the 19m pacer test
Wow! That was pretty interesting and fun to watch! I never knew of this game challenge before. I was wondering if the time between turnarounds keeps getting shorter so that you had to keep running faster and faster, or if it stays the same.
its not a game challenge, its a test children take in school to see their fitness level, and yes after a certain number of laps the time gets shorter.
@denissecalle9457 Thanks

I'm got 91 and in 9th grade. In 6th grade I was overweight and ran 30 wth. We did the 20 meter.
oh I was in sixth grade I was overweight too and I got 30 not yet in ninth grade tho
is there a beer pacer test yet? You drink a beer at every turn
I literally guessed 173😮 no wayyyyy I got it right!
Yay!

he makes it look
so easy
i ran 174 before i was born 🤣
My school record for the 20meter pacer test is 122
You could go higher with competition
In my school one kid a couple years ago got a 142…. He was in 7th grade, he got 145 in 8th….. it was the 20m
Forget the pacer test. Where do you get a Georgie sweatshirt?
Bro we do the Dif beep test it is levels like 1.1 1.2 1.3 I got to 7.6
I got 3502 but I didn't record 😏
honestly, same.
Saludos desde mexico 😊
Wait it was only supposed to be 15 or 20m? Why did my school have us running the full length of the 30ish m gym - no wonder it was so hard lmao
that's like a 220 converted for altitude
I got 124 when I was in seventh grade on the 20 meter pacer. But the school record is 198.
260
My best is a 90 for 20 m
Did 101 in 20m in 6th
You did the 20 meter audio, there is a 15 meter version
Idk of this is a Canadian thing but the one I did only had like “level 12.5”
if that is true, he'd have to do it again! 5m buffer every lap
@AnsonCanRun I've had that too
@@AnsonCanRun It's because Canadians are slower so they only go that high.
In my middle school we would literally all quit when we got to 69, so congratulations on being the first person I’ve ever seen do better than that 😂
The shades made it happen, haha. Cheating!
Me holding up the whole class in 5th grade:
a senior at my school got 175 on the 20 meter one literally yesterday lmao he broke the school record
Where is this beutiful place?
Weighted packs ruck sacks
Is this also known as the beep test?
yes!
Damn bro those nachos were so burnt
athlete special race me you wont
The question is what Santa could get.
i ran 452 in 4th grade
Would have gotten 248 if you wore a speed suit and spikes
121 as an 8th Grader 💪 ( Not Lying either)
🤣holy moly you are fit... how do your lungs not hate you
He trains very hard and has elite running genetics.
@@ari7gam77 He not a pro runnner. He a youtuber that loves running
@@tyler8335 , he used to run sub 4 minutes in the mile. If that’s not elite, I don’t know what is.
I have my school record
a kid at my school got 174
The pacer test is 20 meters
Unfortunately you were doing the wrong test. There’s a 15 meter Audio version of this test but you were listening to the 20 meter version
My best is 121 in 6th grade im still in 6th though!
Love your channel by the way!

I got a 420 on the downhill 30 meter pacer test.
I ran 963 when I was 3
