These are absolutely the best chocolate chip cookies. I have been making them for many years now and the family always request them. I've also shared the recipe with countless numbers of people and I always say it's the powdered sugar that makes the difference!
Thanks Deni! So glad to see you in the kitchen with Disney Snacks again! Awesome. I look forward to more recreations of Disney snacks-and perhaps a cocktail or two? Happy Sunday and I wish you a wonderful week ahead!
Happy Sunday Deni!! So fantastic to see you in your kitchen again - a la Saturday Snacks!! As a cookie lover over all other sweets, I totally enjoyed this video!! Please keep them coming!!
I make chocolate chip cookies and add 1 box (4 serv) pkg of pistachio pudding mix. You can also use any flavors, chocolate, butterscotch, etc. They are delicious
Yay!! Glad your back in the kitchen making Disney park snacks. Those cookies look delicious. Definitely will try the recipe except with a gluten free flour. 😊
I have not had the cookies from the Grand Floridian, but I love the signature cookies at the Riviera with the cherries! Maybe you should make those next! I can't wait to try this one though - thanks for sharing!
Right now - my favorite cookie is a peanut butter cookie that I make that includes peanut butter chips. I add a cup of chocolate chips to make them a chocolate peanut butter cookie. They are a soft chewy cookie. My grandsons love them
I’m going to have to try these. Currently I’ve been making the Nieman Marcus cookies and everyone loves them. It’s on the stores site. I think what makes them extra good is they use regular sugar and brown sugar. I hope you make more recipes. When I’ve looked at the newer Disney cookbooks they say they are their version of the recipe. I have 2 Disney cookbooks that are Disneyland (no WDW) at that time and a Disneyland and WDW combo. They have the park receipes but very old ones. My favorite is the beignets that originally sold at Disneyland when New Orleans Square first opened. Nothing at all like what you get now. Round large yeasty 4” diameter rolled in regular sugar then they did 3 small ones, then they went back to large and a long time later they went to what I call the dry ones with powdered sugar. I tried them once and I 100% prefer the old receipe.
FASCINATING!!! I will be giving this recipe a try. (Though I will probably do my usual plussing with some instant coffee and a splash of spiced rum.) And this video has inspired me to look at the Disney parks Blog for more recipes, so thank you for that, as well. ADDENDUM: Had to laugh about the comment about having the measuring cups until you actually need them; I have previously had that issue with ingredients. Have had to make a concerted effort to Not make something unless I am sure that we have everything that we need. So, two questions: 1. You noted softening the butter as opposed to melting; what is the difference? I tend to melt mine altogether, but I don't know if softening in the Nuclear would make for a difference. And 2. What is your view on baking stones, as opposed to regular baking sheets?
Thanks!
💚💚💚THANKS A MILLION, DEB!💚💚💚

Great video!! I am going to try your recipe!!
Hi Deni - I love baking cookies too!! I just use a fine mesh strainer to sift my flour. It does it pretty quickly.
Must be the butter you used because mine were flatter than a pancake. Threw them all away!!
Yummy ❤
Thanks, look great! Light or dark brown sugar?
I used light :)
❤🎉😊
Hi
Great video!
Have you ever made them with nuts ?
Thanks
Charlotte 😊
They look beautiful, I hate flat cookies😂

Do they still have Snickerdoodles at the bakery on Main St? Back in the day they were my favorite!!!
I’m not sure if they do. I’ll add that to my list!
Is 12 oz chips 2 cups. I have made the cookies on the yellow bag for ever, but I want to try this.
What flour do I use ? Please include because I don't know. I want to make these for grand son. Someone please help. TIA
All-purpose flour :)
