You literally should be stronger after taking days off lol taking a day or a week off isn’t gonna make you weaker that’s just in people fragile small minds
I just had surgery and got back into running for the first time in a few days, I felt so off going so slow with a high heart rate. I will take this into consideration
@@JJLovessot After surgery, it might take a couple sessions, depending on how severe the surgery was and how long you were gone. Either way it won't take long. Assuming it wasn't bad enough for PT
Guys, we are allowed days when we arent in synch. It's okay to be weak at times, because life is often tiring. What's important is to remain consistent in spite of those days of weakness. Keep climbing up that hill.

Just started going to the gym again after a 4 year hiatus, but thanks to excessive eating, my strength hasn't much declined, I've just gotten fat💪😅 Feels great to be back at it, and these videos cheer me up and strangely motivate me🤘
That bit where you were on the back squat was me trying to squat after I’d recovered from a serious stomach virus last year. Strength came back but I could barely squat the empty machine on my 1st workout back. 😢
I just pregame on anxiety, then I take a dose of depression. Then I hit myself with a wave of anger, finally I let the stress take over and boom. I stay strong.
I stopped lifting weights for the entirety of the football season and injury recovery. Came back benching 10 pounds more and squatting the same weight but for more reps.
I've experienced this with either a cut that went too long, or like i was sick. Never one day missed, but i think I've definitely lost strength from accidental dehydration or just 0 carbs in the gym. So many things that could make this happen honestly. If i miss more than a day i just feel fat and disgusting and i don't feel tight around the muscle and its just a bad day for my mental. Funny though i love the content!
Dude i missed the gym due to study pressure for like 2 months and when i went back i wasnt able to lift the same for almost every excercise. I lost like over 1/4 weight on all machines
The "what is going on..." is way to relatable 😭

I can't relate if I miss 1 day I feel 2 times stronger

Take one day off, either everything feels like 100+ pounds or your the strongest you’ve ever been
That what I wanted to say I took 4 or 5 days off to rest and I Literally hit PR in Every tipe of lift I had that day 😂
Yeah rest is important. Going hard every day can be beneficial for some time but longterm it has diminishing returns.

@@kodyhartley1913whenever I take a week off, I get much weaker, a day or two doesn’t really affect me much
@@kodyhartley1913 yes it does. Your muscles sarcoplasmic reticulum are empty. Second workout after rest feels better
“There’s no weight on the bar”😂
😂 When you skip leg day for a week!
This happens cause your nervous system wasn't activated during your rest day. A longer warmup will bring you back to normal

Thank you
Damn dude you watching too much bro science 😂
@@angelgodplace exactly this video is a joke based on what obsessed lifters "think" will happen if they take a day off.
Plot twist: it's just the nightmare a gym bro is having the night before his rest day
This would be so meta and funny
"Gotta be a broken machine" 😭

Honestly I once took like 3 days off the gym because of a family trip, I came back stronger than I’ve ever been
What you prolly need is a really good warmup
Exactly what i was thinking lol
And some pp training

or another rest day
Failing a squat thinking ‘nah, there’s not even any weight on the bar’ relatable😂😢
"the bar must be broken"
God bless, let God take the wheel of your heart❤

Literally happened to me today bro, my warmup felt HEAVY, hopefully can get back to lifting my normal weight tomorrow
It's like Spider-Man 2 when he starts loosing his powers 😭
lmao
The little waddle while holding the bar lol 😂
LMAO the little waddle
Means ur still sore rest up some more you’ll come back stronger 💪🏼
Not the must be a broken machine 😅😂😂
The blurry vision killed me 😂😂😂
Love this man.
"My strength Give me back my strength" 😭😭

This is very relatable with me 😂
The shattered pride and blaming the machine is so real tho
“There’s no weight on the bar” 😂😂
Dude should be in (tv, movies)...funny personality...!!
When you take a day off you gotta lower all the weights by 5-10 pounds for the first set, then go back to normal, sounds weird but it works
i was sick for a week and i got a new pr, rest is important
“There’s no weight on that bar” 😂 he beat everyone in the comment section to it!
Yup I felt this in my soul.. I swear 1 missed day and you’re not the same..
There's no weight on the bar. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 That killed me
Miss one single gym day
Guy at the counter: "where have you been?"
Every 👏🏾 single 👏🏾 time 👏🏾
"My power, its leaving me"
Bro keeps smiling he has a good day
Y’all are crazy. I missed the gym for 7 month came back about as strong.
prob wasn't putting up impressive numbers to begin with..
Seeing this after a 2 week break because of catching a cold is scary
The way he cutely walks slowly to put down those weight it's so adorable
Once you take a day off you feel like the bars are glued on
Like when Spider-Man has his crisis where he can’t shoot web. This is how those moments feel
I’m the exact opposite. I play basketball so we do tons of conditioning, but after a rest day everything goes up 5-10 pounds for me
The struggle is real 😂😂😂
Crazy because if I take a few days off I end up coming back much stronger
Bro, he walked through that door like someone drugs 😂
Mike Mentzer was really spittin about rest days and waiting until your body fully recovers
Cause it's true. you gotta let the muscles heal sometimes. Then you warm back up to your best, you'll be stronger
that dap at the beginning was heavenly
I get lucky. I swear taking days off makes me feel so much stronger
Hack squat machine one is legit asf
This reminds me of when Toby maguire spider man lost his powers in spider man 2😂❤
This me right now. I didn’t plan on donating blood today but it happened

just got back into working out after like 2 years and holy shit i didn’t know your body can actually lock out till i went back today
This must be a broken machine 😂
Me after not using the rowing machine for 2 days. My warmup is 10k of on the rower without stopping. After a break I am dead after 30mins lmao 😂
This is the first time I’ve seen him as a customer and not the boss🤣🤣🤣
Usually the opposite tbh, i take 1 day extra rest and I comeback 10x stronger
I just pregame on anxiety, then I take a dose of depression. Then I hit myself with a wave of anger, finally I let the stress take over and boom. I stay strong.
Bro has never heard of rest days

“What’s going on” was me last year when I turned 30.. lol
This happens to me when i have (no choice) to stop for 7 days.
Everything feels heavier but after a couple of days, all good like before or better.

no weight on the bar😂
Me with rock climbing
Took a week off and waste even to bench 100 pounds when i went back
Am I the only one who feels stronger after a day of rest?
Mike Mentzer would be fuming right now.
After a day off i would either be going back to lifting like a newbie, or i could rep twice as much with an extra 5kgs on it

The little run after not lifting that weight
I was benching 205 came back 2 days later struggling to rep 185
been out of the gym for 18 months now due to injuries, I am afraid to see how little i can lift when i get back in lol
I got sick once and couldn’t lift the bar up for a weak
Broken machine is my first thought for sure too
