It was such a problem that some phones overheated from just having the game open, not even interacting with any of it's elements. they have made it better over time, but it's still a huge problem for some TCG Live users.

I'm glad that instead of making the official simulator the ultimate PTCG client it will continue to languish in a worse state than PTCG Online did while this app gets all the features Live playwrs have dreamed of getting. Thanks Pokemon Company :D
Yu-Gi-Oh went through this same thing for years before getting Duel Links and then Master Duel and I'm impressed that both are able to coexist. But this looks so far ahead of Live I imagine that most players will just stick to this instead while Live dies a slow death.

Granted Live was intentuonally designed with 0 MTX so it is never expected to earn money but still. I would gladly accept some MTX into that game if it meant they actually put the tiniest bit of effort in...

I love the card effects when battling! Here's hoping we can get some cool customization factors. And if there's an avatar, PLEASE have the art direction of the Pokémon style, and not some generic corpo art style like Go and TCG O/L
Nothing. This is a completely different game. Live is for the complete TCG experience, Pocket is a bite sized version of it. Think of it like Yugioh Master Duel vs Yugioh Duel Links. Same brand of game, different play versions.
Tcg live is still going to be where it is. Tcg live is for competitive players who want to test their decks before competitions where as pocket is more for the collectors
So... Say if you need 3 EX cards without any luck pulling it from the box, with point system only, as a free to play user, you need like 6 months ++ to get them.
Just bring back Pokemon TCG Online there was everything that we need: trading, battling, collecting, competitive play. You just need to make small improvement to trading to make it less laggy and we are fine but NO you rather keep that shit PTCG live that is not live better call it dead, buggy as fuck, with no treading and graphic looking like dog shit on pc, cards are in 144p on board, holo looking worst then normal. If you call me hater that's not true I'm just telling facts with words that suit to game. :^
Live is made in house by the Pokemon Company so with DeNa (makers of Pokemon Masters EX) this won’t have any impact on Live but hopefully Live will have their bugs addressed and fixed and hopefully the team has been working in the background this whole time to release one huge massive overhaul
Two different parts of the company making the games. Live is made by America, Pocket is made by Japan Pocket is made with love. Live is neglected heavily.
It's a gocha game.. And they give a lot of free content. They can't give you progress for free as it costs them to make the game. So they have to make it back some how
Would be cool to tie into real life rewards. Like say collect a certain amout of card rarities and trade for a phyiscal tcg item.. Or just win tournaments in game and win tcg products. that would give people incentive to play and collect the game

I bet the 2 booster packs per day is a normal base set pack and you still need a ton of money to buy the expansion packs

Nothing. This is a completely different game. Live is for the complete TCG experience, Pocket is a bite sized version of it. Think of it like Yugioh Master Duel vs Yugioh Duel Links. Same brand of game, different play versions.
It's being developed by a different division of the company, so Live is not gonna be affected by the presence of this game
It will continue to be ignored, just as God always intended.

If it doesn’t use official tcg sets then I doubt it. They might release promo codes every so often or have twitch drops.

you can redeem your codes to pokemon tcg live. Codes only come from TPCi products while pocket come from TPC Japan
