This is the second video I’ve seen today of a custom Vulcan built here in Utah….this is amazing. Wish I’d have had mine closer to the time this was filmed haha I’m currently building/painting a custom Vulcan 900
sorry, just found your channel and have been binge watching RUclips while its storming today lol...this is a sweet bike, I can remember when guys were forking out thousands to give their softails the same look, then Kawasaki comes along and made it easy and affordable
+DarthJon Thank you, this project was fun as hell, seeing a vision of something and making it happen. Hope you have fun with your bike, it will be awesome.
Mr Wasatch you did a Narly job of restoring that road burned Vulcan 900 it LOOKS incredible your rims and attention to detail are remarkable. I had a close friend with that bike and he rode it like a monk every day to work even in the winter time. With I had a basic list of the parts you put on this bike the front fender etc if and when I get my Vulcan I am going bug the shit out of you for more info.
Thank u there is some chrome looking for can’t find it don’t know where else to look rear resivor brake cover chrome the neck cover chrome can’t find it want to also find for swing arm rear tire can’t find love your bike thank u again I have done a lot to mine already so if u have any idea to see where else to look thank u
1 Beautiful KICK A ⚡⚡ KAW 900 CU⚡ TOM ‼️ Just got a 2019 Vulcan Custom, It's AWE ⚡ OME ‼️ Can't wait to do a few upgrades like a bigger rear tire,breather kit and pipes. Right now it's Beautiful,F‼️K A HD‼️
Hey Cory, I think the power and the final result on your bike are simply fantastic. I only had two questions: 1-When installing the baron kit to lower the height of the rear fender, doesn't it make the suspension feel harder? and 2-Did you have to place spacers or some other piece when installing the new rear wheel (rim) so that it was well aligned and did not rub against the transmission belt?..... I am starting with the modifications of my VN classic 900 and your motorcycle is my inspiration. Thank you very much for your attention and answers to my questions and enjoy that beautiful motorcycle you achieved. 👍
I was babysitting while I watched .I didn't get if you put a larger drive pulley. I have th I put a larger drive and a smaller rear wheel pulley with a 200 rear tire.when the speedo reads 50 I'm going 55 .
I was going to write .I have the vn 900 classic lt 2011. cool bike very notice. you've done many things I want to do on mine . I was pretty disappointed with the stock gearing .until I changed the pulleys and rear tire .I also put the larger exhaust pipes .going to get the big sucker air cleaner and a fuel management. nice vid .
Thanks Dale, much appreciated. Right now the gearing is stock, the Sumo-X rear pulley installed has the same tooth count. The larger rear tire helps a little with the gearing. I've thought about the baron's front pulley to improve the gearing further. Got the Cobra Powerpro for fuel management on mine, works great.
That's a good looking paint. What color is it? I'm building a 2010 right now. Just made brackets to mount dresser bags on it and put some 14 inch apes on. I let the guy I bought it from take it for a ride and he dumped it so she needs paint.i was thinking either burnt orange or some kind of silver grey and I think you helped me make up my vhf mind. Ps your bike would look great with that radiator spoiler. I'm going a different way but I like them a lot. That sounds great to I just debaffald mine sound ok
Paint is the same color from "Eleanor" in Gone and Sixty Seconds. Dupont 44490. Almost like a titanium gray color. Love it. Good luck with your build and have a ton of fun doing it!
@@WasatchSummits thank you and as usual I commended too early I saw you did have the spoiler radiator cover and you did tell the color code. But thanks for the answer good looking bike.
Josh, check out this link from Meancycles.com. I bought my setup from them, came with the charger and mounting kit complete. www.meancycles.com/store/parts/view.cfm?partID=214674
great colorway chrome and metal grey. did you say your rear tire is 250? did you somehow modify the frame or was their any added parts to fit the tire and the connection of the belt drive to the engine??
Thanks Mark, the rear tire is a 200-50-18. Didn't have to mod the frame at all but did have to trim the belt guard a little, which I did with a dremel tool. I've seen people put the 240 rear on their bikes and they did have to trim the frame on those.
Thanks. I bought the forward controls off eBay. Haven't seen them in a black color though. Here is a link: www.ebay.com/itm/like/162076678573?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true
Thank you very much for the link. And where did you get axle nuts covers, rear pulley adjusters spike nuts?I cant stop to admire! So nice bike and you did great job!
I'm sure you've had this question before, but does your bike vibrate past 70 or 80 mph? I'm buying one next week, and I'm just trying to get different opinions.
Mine doesn't buzz at those speeds too bad, though I've changed out the wheel-tire sizes and substantially changed out the geometry on mine. When it was stock it buzzed a bit more than it does now, though that never deferred me from taking it on longer rides.
Thanks Mike, I bought the headlight from Phat Performance, URL: (Might need to copy and paste) www.phatperformanceparts.com/ACHD_5_3_4_Inch_Stealth_Headlight_Headlight_p/ppp-hl007.htm

Beautiful bike, Nice color, your Elenor. Im looking at the Kawi 900 custom, where are you riding?
cool bike
that is a sweet vulcan
Great machine man..
May I bother you for the info on the Forward controls?
Those are made by Mapam. I believe I got them from Meancycles.com.
Beautiful front and rear wheels, where do you find them?
Front is stock, chromed by Calchrome. Rear is Sumo-X, chromed. www.sumo-xstore.com/product_p/sumk165001.htm
Can you send a link for that seat
Where did you get the gauge cluster cover
Will the 900 custom rear fender fit on a 900 classic?
Yep, it should. Same chassis.
What pipes??? Sounds great!
Pipes are Cobra Slashdowns. Bought and installed the day I bought the bike.
I was babysitting while I watched .I didn't get if you put a larger drive pulley.

Hey man... which wheel is this? from which motorcycle?
Wasatch Summits, is that kuryakyn made for the bike or did you have to fabricate? I can't find one for the '08 Vulcan 900
Josh, check out this link from Meancycles.com. I bought my setup from them, came with the charger and mounting kit complete. www.meancycles.com/store/parts/view.cfm?partID=214674
Thanks a lot. I just ordered mine. You did a great job on your bike. Def one of the best vulcans I've seen
What kind of headlight is it?
If I remember it is a ACHD Stealth.
Did you remove the turn signals?
Original turn signals were removed, new led signals are integrated on the front forks and into the rear fender.

Could you tell me where to get the small skull on the tank bevel
The skull is actually a license plate fastener I got from autozone. Turns out the screw it is on had the same thread pitch as the bevel.
Awesome bike!!! Where did you get forward controls? Do they have them in black color? Really Awesome bike!!!
Thanks. I bought the forward controls off eBay. Haven't seen them in a black color though. Here is a link: www.ebay.com/itm/like/162076678573?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true

Hey brother. Perfect set up. What seat do you have on it?
Thanks, the seat is a Saddlemen Renegade Solo.
@@WasatchSummits perfect. Just picked up one. I love the look over the stock seat. How does it feel on your lower back after a long ride?
muy bonita
Awesome bike man! Where did you get the rear wheel from?
Wheel is custom made, by sumo-xstore.com. Pulley is matching as well.
Very nice bike!
I just bought one in flat black.
I love that headlight, where did you purchase it?
Thanks Mike, I bought the headlight from Phat Performance, URL: (Might need to copy and paste)
www.phatperformanceparts.com/ACHD_5_3_4_Inch_Stealth_Headlight_Headlight_p/ppp-hl007.htm
I love the headlight!
Nice...
Awesome bike! Did you lowered the front as well?
Didn't have to, the 6 degree overstock triple trees pulled out the front end enough to match up the rear nicely.
I love it too man where did u get them trees?
⚡HARP!
💪🙂👍
Less is more 👍🏼👍🏼
I love your bike and I own a 2011 special edition (still stock) but, you must be using the worst 'go pro' nock off available :)
First gen Go Pro with lousy editing skills, lol. Wore the camera with a 'chesty' mount.
I got rid of a dynawide ,and ride my wifes vulcan which is superior!
sad to say but true...those vulcan 9 are better than soft tails
