This Jeep is mindblowing. Loved it, the interior is just at another level and the new engine is quite impressive, turbo lag of course but plenty of power.
Absolutely beautiful and the L version actually looks more suited for this rectangular design. Compared to the esv or yukon XL, that is noticeably streched from the rear C pillar. The wagoneer L though is symmetric front and back, whereas the shortbase rear is cut short. I love this thing! I can see Jeep going 4xE for this b4 GM. Lol and the fact that Joe is disappointed there's no ventilated 3rd row seats just proves how much Jeep is spoiling us with luxury throughout! Great work Lori! Team Raiti's Ride hits another one out of the park!
Great review! I ordered mine on Sep 23, your reviews were super helpful in making that decision! Still no build date. Can’t wait to get it, but my understanding is that it is a six week wait once the build date is assigned. If you order one, be prepared to wait.
Congrats!! Thats very exciting. I agree with you though, I ordered a scat pack challenger this year and waited 9 months to get it. Worth the wait though. Hope you enjoy your brand new vehicle!
I must say in all seriousness that is quite a rig, and should be a hella hit for Jeep Division. I like the way the digital displays are actually integrated in the dash instead of just hung or tacked on. My favorite Willie Wonka scene will always be the psychedelic boat ride, and Wonka's crazy Jim Morrison-style monologue during the ride. 😂 Gene Wilder was awesome! The whole cast was great.

Honestly I'm glad I got the V8 Wagoneer. I regularly get 17.5 mpg combined perk tank and it's super quick and sounds great. It doesn't seem like the new engine actually makes that many significant improvements.
Also, I'm unsure about this, but I know not all the Wagoneer engines could turn off half the cylinders when you're cruising. That has helped a lot with fuel mileage, and I'm curious if these new engines have that capability.
@@danielshaffer7450 One thing you have to realize with this straight 6. You not only have more power. You also don't lose that power when taking trips and you have high altitude climbs. That is one thing I miss about not having a turbo on my car. My V8 is great but higher altitude I lose that power. Not a huge deal but noticeable for sure.
Thinking what to get to upgrade to full size suv, this is the first then Escalade and lastly Chevrolet suburban or Tahoe. Newest model What are your thoughts between the three?
You must have been sleeping for the last several years. This is what these vehicles cost now. Prices went up in every vehicle category. You want a monster size luxurious vehicle with all the technology, this is what you're gonna pay for it now
Thanks for the review. I have one of the Suburbans that had rear wheel steer from 2004. It u-turns tighter than our Lexus RX. And it reduces the side force you feel on mountain roads. But it does add 400 lbs, and a wider stance. And it wears tires a bit faster and now you cant get parts for it to align it well. But it is great for drivability and people are shocked how tight it turns. I have been waiting for another big SUV that could pull at least 10,000 lbs. This Wagoneer is the first viable option in a long time.

That is a nice large SUV. It should be in a class with the Range Rover, Navigator, and Escalade. It has an interior that is state of the art. Jeep and Ram have been doing awesome interiors lately.
I'm not sure why so many people are afraid of these turbo 6 engines. Ford has been doing it for decade now and they are all going 200k miles, 300k or more if you change the oil every 8k. There is nothing wrong with the hemi, but the platform is 20 years old now, they have to move on in order to meet future emissions rules. That would mean a redesign and while that may happen in another couple years for the trucks, it was a lot easier to slap another 2 cylinders onto the inline turbo 2 liter they've have for a few years.
