"Dance Moms" follows Abby Lee Miller and the nation's favorite tween dancers as they take on Hollywood while new auditions, new competitions, and new studios raise the stakes.
The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began - the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.
Can we just appreciate how beautiful Nia's costume was? It flowed magically while she danced. It made her movements breathtaking

Ava's dance just showcased her legs, not much of a "dance". Nia had a beautiful dance. Nia could have been competition for Maddy had Abby had given her the attention she gave Maddy. She was with her the longest.

@@j-rodthelibrarykid1166 Abby and Jojo are pretty close now (probably due to Jojo’s crazy success). Jess and Jojo visited Abby in hospital when she had cancer, Abby went on a drive with Jojo, Jojo even revisited the ALDC and Abby did a tribute week to her dances. It just shows how success makes people change their opinions.

@@j-rodthelibrarykid1166 Abby is probably faking it to ride Jojo’s coat-tales, but I do think Jojo is quite genuine and I think that shows in the fact she did visit Abby in hospital cause lots of the other girls didn’t. I’m sure I remember she lost her nan to cancer so she probably knows how hard it is to go through and wanted to show support.
Not only was Jojo’s improv itself well executed, but she told a story that matched her music. She understands the narrative arc of a dance. Very, very impressive, and shows what an inate performer she is.
Wasn't Nia's solo in the teen category and she actually won first place or am I thinking of another competition?

It was obvious that Abby had singled out her favorites. It’s just unfair.
Edit: Also, Nia actually placed 1st in senior division! She did amazing! They only showed junior to cause drama, she deserved the win and credit. I feel bad that she didn’t get credit for winning with an amazing solo!

Nias solo fits her personality so well in my opinion!
1) Nia gave THE BEST facial expressions out of anyone on the team. Both genuine and vivid
2) Nia and Jojo were the best dynamic on the team. They were both dragged down the most by abby

Ava’s technique is super underrated! She takes her long legs to her advantage, she bobbled a bit on her turns in the middle, but other than that she did amazing; I also love the storyline! Her faces were a bit strange, I feel like she should’ve had a more “deep pain” kind of emotion instead of anger, like she was crying because that’s what the storyline was about. She’s a beautiful dancer, I just think this wasn’t one of her best solos.

Ava's solo was amazing. It takes a really special dancer to be able to pull off choreography that intricate. Not to mention the great technique and skill, flexibility, and core strength. She deserved that win.

This just shows me that when they get the opportunity to do beautiful lyrical dances they both can really shine. They always got cheesy type of dances and weren’t placing well. It was made out like they couldn’t do lyrical dances as they never got them but they did amazing.

the girls always have a backup costume and solo just in case. jojo improved because she didn’t have one, but nia’s solo never knew is her backup solo that she always has prepared just in case

@@tracint4830 ill check them out 😊 also you do know that improv isn't making up a new dance move 😅? Improv is just taking all the moves dance wise you've learnt and doing a freestyle using those 😊 so most dancers improvs have other dance instructors or dancers moves in them 😊
@@tracint4830 if she's copying move for move every single time and not changing it up abit then yeah that's abit boring and weird but I've seen jojo not do the same thing in improv outside of dance moms, maybe this specific improv is copying? I just don't think it works like that in the dance world, many ppl failed to improv at all so maybe that's why she looks better, I just think it's a fine line copyrighting when it's dancing coz these dance moves are used over and over by multiple dancers and instructors 😅and abby wouldn't ever give credit to other dance instructors for any moves, they were only ti say they were trained by abby Lee so she could take credit for the training 😬 so I can get why the kids would maybe not do that too if their instructor won't do it 😊

Abby loves to tear down Jojo but it was nice to her admit that she’s talented enough at improv to send her out unprepared-especially when she’s screamed at her for forgetting parts and improving before. Obviously she was screaming just to scream, but at least she remembered how talented Jojo really is at improv😭
