      @S04P Год назад +17

      Technically, even if she gave everyone a fair score like 8, she still would’ve won. The scores would be 19, 20, and 21 if she gave 8 instead of 3, 3, and 2. If she gave a 10 to each, the last one would be the only one to match her score. Hers got 23 so I guess it was tasty despite it not being the correct dish. I do think she judges too harshly.

      @@buzzfeedUK Not maybe - it's NECESSARY. It's at least one way to prevent the cheating that Sonia does EVERY time. It's not fair if you keep doing it this way. The other option is to have one of the producers as "unbiased" judge to offset the unfair contestants - this will help a bit, but not as much as blindfolds. The simplest solution is to stop casting unfair contestants. It doesn't make the video enjoyable when there's bad apples in the bunch.

      It's definitely an empanada. That is the thing about cooking around the world; most places have the same things, but use different seasonings and have different names.

      I'm not certain for other countries but in T&T, it's made with cornmeal and filled with minced meat (pork, chicken etc.)

    I hate to be devil’s advocate, we can all agree that Sonia is cheeky, but this a kind of pastel, pastel de forno (oven pastel). Maybe they didn’t specified her to make the traditional one.
