Replacing the automatic transmission clutch on a DT12 transmission is very similar to a manual transmission. but, you have to perform different calibrations and test to complete the process. it is not a remove and replacement process.

Looks exactly like an iShift. Just did one the other day. Same clutch cylinder too just different connection. Does the clutch cylinder need to get pushed back before installing? Does it also have a air hose attached to it?

I have a customer bring in a volvo vnl, clutch pedal not push down at all not an inch, i replace the master cylinder and slave cylinder still have the same problem, i remove the cover plate look inside clutch still engaged. Any ideal what might cause this to happen?

Does the tcm need to be reprogrammed if it is disconnected? Just installed a new clutch on a DT12, reusing the actuator; got everything plugged in, but truck just shows -- on the gear indicator.

Doesn’t need to be programmed just need to do the transmission learn procedure

Calibrate the clutch actuator, and transmission relearn procedure.

2013 Freightliner Cascadia dd13 I took it to get a pm done and when I got it back my truck won’t turn on unless I spray started fluid. What can it be? It wasn’t doing that before the PM now every time I turn it off only way I turns on is if I spray starter fluid
Check your small fuel litter cap, sometime it gets damaged when installing it.

depend how you driving and houling around 400.000 - 700.000 for sure you will have to change

Narrow space and dirty mud for the clutch replacement. Please ask the company owner build a tunnel. A truck lift elevator is the best.
This is the real deal man, no lifts or tunnel. Just a will to get it done.
