- I haven't posted a video in a while. Sorry about that. I just realized I got a few subscribers. I would like to thank all of my subscribers and I will be posting stuff in the future. This is a newer speedrun I did for X Men on the Sega Genesis. I mainly use night crawler, he can glitch through a some bosses and walls to make the game quicker. I was watching a TAS of this game and picked up a few tricks!!! I currently have a video recorded for completing this game in 12:00 minutes on the actual console which I am going to send into Twin Galaxies. This speedrun is the first time I’ve ever even SEEN past the 2nd stage lol.
I was about to post the same when I saw your comment! Never made it passed the 2nd level as a kid

Yeah I came to see just what happens after apocalypse far as i ever got and he always bodied my ass
back in the day, we had no internet, not even magazines, nothing. Took years to learn to press RESET in the Mojo world to continue the game.

XENO GOKU I was a kid and lots of free time . I got to the end of mojo level a bunch and tried everything then I gave up thinking I missed something and pressed reset and it beat the level. But next time I got to mojo world I couldn’t figure what I did to beat it lol. Took months to realize it was the reset button
So nobody's gonna point out the fact that he was able to skip past the Mojo boss battle. My mind is completely blown

This game was so radical. And the music and SFX were out of this world.
Apocalypse in comics and movies: You have very little chance against me with the combined best efforts of the most powerful mutants.
Apocalypse in this game: Wolverine kills him solo in 10 seconds, half of which is standing around doing nothing but looking at him with utter distain.
That was awesome to watch, brought back some old memories. Memories of confusion, frustration, a bit of love, and hate.
Now I'd like to see someone speed run this game as Gambit.
This game was HARD!! I remember trying to beat this on the highest difficulty!

One of the hardest games on Sega in my childhood
My brother got me this game for my SEGA Genesis. It really IS a nice one. Made especially for Marvel enthusiasts. What's nice about this is that you can change characters on the fly.
Nightcrawler is to this game what the princess was in Mario Bros. 2.
Even as a kid, I thought it was criminal not to be nightcrawler stage 2. Glad to see my childhood intuitions held up.

Dang, I can get to the Sentinal stage. I only beat this game with the code. This player rocks man! Impressive!
This game makes me think that MHA would actually lend itself well to a platformer.
I love the farty music in the mission hub area.
Nightcrawler BY FAR was the best character in the game. His special was offense and defensive.
They nerfed the hell out of him in Clone Wars, LOL.
Man, I thought I was the smartest gamer alive when I was a kid and figured out by myself that Nightcrawler could skip almost all of Excalibur's Lighthouse. Little did I know he could skip most of every other level, too. But..... I could beat Magneto with Cyclops faster than this.

My reset button is broken!! This was an incredible speed run. IDK why I Haven't been using nightcrawler to his full potential.
I used to reset my Sega just to listen to the title screen and story intro music all the time

Nightcrawler is the best to use for Ahab's level. I try to use the other three, but it turns to crap lol
There’s a faster way to get the final level using gambit and the entrance in the Danger room
I'm close to beating the game around 12 minutes with only wolverine
I didn't know you could skip bosses! Other than juggernaut on level 3.

First game I beat by myself.
Had to turn it off as I felt it was taken away from how hard my child was playing this game

I loved this game back in the day. I hate to say it now but the only thing good about it are the Marvel characters themselves. Everything else is pretty lame. Typical Marvel game for the time, I suppose. Nice job on the speedrun though.
Falling did little damage and getting hit did little damage, Why does it seem like it wasn't on the hardest difficulty which you needed to complete to get to the later levels?
It looks like it's on Hero.
I think the sound is bugged I see foot dives but don't hear Dr. Doom saying it.

I only wished
1.the powers didn’t run out
2.the enemies had a life bar and better a.i
And more hit animations
3.there was hit animations instead of glowing and pausing wit that annoying sound effect
This and streets of rage 2 were the 1rst games I played when I got my genesis
Is this a mod cause your mutant power doesn’t go down that much.

I don't get what this game had to do with XMen plot lines. Just seems like a generic platform game with xmen characters.
