Another Yorkshire lady here, I’m currently looking out at a typically grey, rainy West Yorkshire day! It’s so cold and miserable his morning, but I’m all cosy inside watching your video and dreaming of snuggling under crochet blankets. I have made the original Harmony and I’m now making a cot blanket just like yours in that beautiful, grey, pink and mustard combination.

It was fun to make the daisy flower granny squares.
Olive is too cute all snuggled up in her blanket…I may have to spoil my Kitty Sassy (Saskia) with her own beautiful crochet blanket thank you for the idea.

I’m a bit partial to the Dainty Daisy blanket because I did a full size daisy granny square blanket. I used white and yellow for the flowers on a medium green background, the white and yellow border. I was really feeling spring at the time 🌷. I have also done 2 of Lucy’s blankets, Moorland and Woodland Ripple. Thanks for steering me to more beautiful granny designs! 💖

Hey Elise! I enjoy your videos so much. I watched this video again looking for a granny square that calls to me for a cover for a zippered pouch. But this reminded me again of the Harmony Blanket, which is on my list. I’m going to plan on making this blanket this winter. It can keep me warm while I work.

I just recently found your channel and subscribed right away. Excellent information delivered beautifully. I haven't finished a granny square blanket. I made all 42 squares, wove in the ends, and blocked them. There they sit in a box because I dread having to sew them together. One of these days.😁
I also made Toni's granny square top but it too is finished but not sewn together. I just don't like sewing and I don't always know how to do it.

I am currently making the Sweet Granny Baby Blanket as a decorative throw blanket for the end of my daughters bed then I will be making a matching one for my other daughter. We are about to move and they are sharing a room. I definitely want to make that Harmony for our sweet cat, Hex. She loves laying on and kneading blankets lol so she will love having one that is all her own.

I love all the granny squares!! Have you did any of the six sided granny sweaters? Oh girl look into them!!! You make 2 large grannys and fold into a "L" flop 1 to the left and 1 to the right. Sew up the back and across the arms. So exciting to do!!

The hexagons are just chefs kiss, i think if you find some really chunky yarn you coud also use them as coasters for plates and other things so i’ll definetely be trying that!

Hi Elise. I'm from West Michigan, lots of snow here. I'm making a granny square blanket and putting an applique from Nella's Cottage on it for my first grandson, he is due in July. I've watched lots of RUclips videos on granny square blankets and I believe I'm going to use the technique that makes the join in the corner so you can't find the seam...I wish I could remember the tutorial but I can't. Sorry 😞

Hi - love your videos! All of these blankets are beautiful - so hard to pick a favorite. But i agree with you on making a baby size blanket vs a full size one. I just finished a baby one for friends of ours who just had a little girl. It was one big square and i changed the colors every 3 rows since the baby is their 3rd child. Quick easy and loved the colors. Now starting a hexagon baby blanket that I saw on Ophelia Talks channel. Take care.

I just subscribed as I've realized it's going to take me a long time to go through all your videos! But in case you didn't figure it out from my other comments, I'm from Johannesburg, South Africa. (As I'm writing this I'm sitting in the sun under one of my own blankets because it's freezing cold here - we're in the opposite hemisphere!) I've been making granny squares since I was 12, so I've been doing them for 42 years! My cousin actually taught me to crochet as I'm left-handed, and my gran who used to crochet was right-handed! Of course, when looking at tutorials online I usually have to mirror everything, but as I say, I've been crocheting for so long it's a habit now. I also have to remind myself what stitches you're using as down here we use British crochet terminology. Anyway, my favourite is the daisy blanket. I've never made one although I have used the daisy pattern to make blankets before (just in different colours). I must definitely put it on my list of things to make!
