Facts like these as you've documented here is why many young Africans are nowadays walking away from Christianity and Islam. The aims and objectives of those religions are not any different from the aspirations of Western colonialists: Dominance. 3. And even after all, it's not going to be so easy to shake off this dominance for a very long time to come. The emotional, material and rational influence has been firmly rooted in a way that wresting Africans from the grip of external control would need to happen while Africans are not aware it's happening. "Give a man a new language and a new religion and you'll enslave him forever." That Chinese adage, once I learned about it at age 14, transformed everything about my person in my relationship with the rest of the world.
