I know Im asking randomly but does anybody know a method to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would love any tricks you can give me!
@Jeremy Milan i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
You're absolutely amazing man. To do all this work-- for the fun of it!!?? so talented. best of luck to you. also- how did you do your animations? through after affects?
thanks mate. Most of the Animations where done in After Effects, like moving the Cans through space. The Liquids are hand drawn Frame by Frame Animations done in Rough Animator on the iPad. cheers Leech
This is super cool!! the fact that you weren't even paid by chupa chups (probably) shows your pure passion that went into making this, great content for a beginner like me. saving for my first mirrorless Sony zv e10
Yeah, i tried to sell it to them afterwards, but couldnt get a hold of anyone "important" enough, even though i have 10 Years of experience in an Ad Agency :D The ZV-e10 is a great Camera, especially if its your first. Good Luck, and probably see you around :)
I am blown away by your work! And can you please share how much time in total for completing a 30 seconds epic commercial product short video (similar to the one you did above) including setting up, shooting and editing? Thanks so much!
Thank you very much. Timing wise, this depends on how much i need to include, what kind of shots are planned and how much detail i want to add. But you can mostly go for 4-8h of setting up the Shots, 2 Days of Shooting, and 4 Days of Editing.
Hey, pretty easy. Doubling the Layer of the Can, masking it onto the Objects that needed shadows, and then turned it black, made them a bit softer and turned down the opacity.
Hey thanks. It was pretty simple. In After Effects, i doubled the layer which was on top, made it black, put it behind the object, blurred it, masked it slightly and then moved it afterwards. Cheers. I will probably do a more detailed breakdown in the future.
danke Fabian. Viel Spass dabei :)
Very great commercial mate. And really appreciate it for BTS! I have two questions: 1. Is not it f2.8 too open for close-up interms of getting the product in focus? 2. How you can maintain the focus area while you Dolly in? TIA
Hey, thanks for the nice words. To answer your Questions. 2.8 is pretty open, the more light you have available, the narrower you can get with your F/t-Stops Values. Maintaining the focus can either be done by means of Autofocus, if your camera Lens combo is good enough, or by having some kind of Focus Pull System (either Automated or by Hand) or just manually rotating your Focus Ring while having Peaking on in your Display.
@@LeechTM yeah you know for product commercials( which you need to nail the focus) I have to stop down to have everything in focus. But since we have to get close to the object(bcuz of the size of the object) we lose some DOF, so I have to stop down even more. And about pulling focus while using slider, it's really hard to do. I also thinking of getting Lidar system for rs3 to do AF on bmpcc4k. Not sure how good it is for object tracking focusing tho
if you mean the shot at the beginning, you can also do that in post, but i wanted the natural motion blur that occurs when moving objects / the camera in real space.
Hey, i mostly think of scenes, that i am able to produce in my "small" homestudio, and then try to think of creative ways to intertwine them into a short story that feels natural and not really disturbing. Its often a simple logical choice, of how would someone use the product, lets make that fancy :)
Neat clip 👍 The display turntable seems to be a "basic" one, but it also seems that it quite covers that what it should do. Is a more sophisticated rotator overkill for doing such food/product scenes? Do you use a special tool/software for the storyboard?
Hey thanks. The rotation Device always depends on the weight of the Object that needs to be rotated, a can is so lightweight that a rotator would be overkill, especially in price (this on was 29€ and can carry up to 5kg). For my Storyboards im using Procreate on the iPad, its my go to device for drawing / painting since i can do it anywhere i want to whenever i want to, especially since i am coming from an Illustrator background and was used to Wacom Drawing Monitors, which are unflexibel in almost every aspect, except the drawing part. Hope this helps 👌
its a pretty simple after effects thing. Maybe someday in the Future ill pack it into an Editing Video, if there is enough interest in how i edit my stuff :)
Very nice BTS... well done. One suggestion... this video's music bed kept coming in too loud between the speaking shots... kept turning up to hear you, then the music would blast in making me turn it down. Let the audience's ears rest between shots and the music be be a noticible level step down from voice.
This is awesome!!! I have seen a lot of passionate creators but trust me your are another level. Thanks for inspiring me
your very welcome :)
This is an amazing video thanks for sharing your experiences with us!

The combination of animation and Videography went really hand in hand. Very well made!
thanks Marcel :) It was quite a hefty load of Animation :)

I hit the subscribe button as soon as I watch that intro.
thanks, but ive just rewatched the Commercial, and i see sooo many mistakes :D i guess i need to make another one soon.
Wooow that was a lot of work!! Which F stop do you use? and how many mm has the lens?
Thanks!
This is the Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 i guess i used something like 2.8

Hey, pretty easy. Doubling the Layer of the Can, masking it onto the Objects that needed shadows, and then turned it black, made them a bit softer and turned down the opacity.
i see you have added shadows in the animation which gives realistic look to the video...plz tell us how you did that.. your work is awesome.

Awesome work, please do a tutorial on ho to animate the things around the product. Greetings from canada
Noted your request. Its done with a iPad + frame by frame animation

why the slider push? Can't you just do that in post? Does it look different? Just curious. It looks amazing.

@@LeechTM ah yes, the natural motion blur. Good point. Thanks.
This was a very insightful video! Do you mind sharing some tips on color correction in post?
bro, this was sick. I would buy a mini course from you on this topic - especially the editing. Lot of room for good courses on that!
thanks mate, i thought about creating a dedicated workshop for commercials for a while, but havent decided yet.

Did you mask the soda pouring out also? Or how did you achieve the perfect cut out of the liquid
Hey Miles, pretty simple answer actually. Rotoscope Brush v2 in After Effects. and some really small corrections afterwards. cheers Leech :)
