    pretty dope man, you made an easy $80k+ commercial and then show how you did it. bravo. For those who dont know, commercials like this easily start at 50k and can easily go way over 100K.

      Yeah its interesting a lot of people talk about the gear saying its super expensive but im always thinking about how these commercials are typically done with huge crews and huge budgets and am like its much cheaper then people think haha

      @@AustenPaul yep. Its also to do with the union. Once your stuck in it. Your stuck. Union is required to give jobs. Hence the exaggeration on film sets.

      Haha I swear it is coffee it’s just because there isn’t a lot of liquid in the cup and the light is hitting it as the shot goes on the color is much darker and true to tone

    Do you think medium format camera will make the video quality even better? If one day medium format camera are fast enough to shoot 4K video

      Possibly but its more just because the Ursa isnt built for slow motion this is on a micro 4/3 shot on 1080 p cropped sensor. Its not there first priority.

      Of course right now I use my 1dx mark II not for any specific reason but just because its my old camera and I use a 24-70 or 16-35 on that depending on how wide I need to be. Mic is the Dji wireless mic.

    what fps did you use when you pouring a water? is there any reason you use ursa ?

      Yes it shoots 300fps I use it because it’s the camera that I have at the moment no other reason

      I built it using a head one and a moza Slypod pole and hung it from a c stand haha

      @@matthewsmedia777 I should do it one day I had the clients at the shoot so everything in the tutorial is actually a reshoot to show how it was achieved. But I drilled a hole through the lit and mounted a pole to the head that was attached to the slypod. That was then connect to the cstand.

    How to shoot a coffee commercial at home.
    Step one, pull $2000 out of your ass to buy lights and lighting accessories.
    Step two, realise that you are broke and can't afford to buy lighting kit.
    Step three, realise that you have no clients or portfolio resulting in no money to buy kit.
    Step four, get a normal job and save up enough money to buy a few thousand dollars in kit then restart the process.
    Step five, invest a huge amount of money into kit and learn that you need help on video shoots that cannot be found without spending more money to hire people.
    Step six, realise that film making is a huge money dump and that it is impossible to integrate into the film making social sphere as a loner.
    Step seven, give up.

      If you think like that you will never be successful at filmmaking. I started with a go pro we all start with nothing but you can teach yourself practice and grow but that’s only if you want to take a chance and learn to be better at something. I wish you luck.
