This answer scares me as it leaves lying to ones judgement. Anytime we leave something open ended and subjective, we are risking our religion. People are now going to lie to get into Mataf to do Tawaf, not Umrah. Why? Because that's a greater thing they'll argue.

Doesn't he have right to know and to decide by her answer , what woman he wants to spend his life with??? Or does he not have any rights??? So you want the boy to come .see her and just say yes without asking any important questions like this??? Why are you taking sides with the women??? It's not about revealing your sins . It's about trust and about who you want to spend your life with. Why can't she just say yes or no about being a virgin ??? And then he can decide if he wants to go further or not right??, And she also can make him keep a promise to not go around and talking stuff about her
That's not how it works. A woman can't reveal her past. It's between her and Allah. She might have committed sin and repented, she can't reveal her sin she committed in the past to a stranger.
There's another advice from another brother in ilm which is: don't expose the sin and don't lie. If a man wants a virgin which is a sunnah, and the girl's not she should make an excuse and reject the proposal. Thus… not letting him know her sins and respecting his choice too.
